Summary: Not the best WWE DVD ever!
Review: I'm not sure why people are listing there favorite IC titles matches as ideas for this one. WWE is re-releasing there Coliseum Video collection to DVD. Probably for historical reason because its around Wrestlemania and they did it last year with the release of the Undertaker and Stone Cold DVD's. But lets review the matches on a scale of 1-5 stars:

Shawn Michaels Vs Crush ** Not a great match from a Britain tour back in 1993

Bret Hart Vs Skinner * When did Skinner have a good match. Yawn!!

Shawn Michaels vs Marty Jannetty **** First ever title change on Raw if I'm not mistaken. Best match on the DVD. Back and forth between two high flyers.

Shawn Michaels vs Mr. Perfect *** This was from Summerslam 93. Match between two great IC champions. Bad ending but good match.

Shawn Michaels vs "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan: Boring!

At least from the 1990-1993 era, they should had shown matches at least the Texas Tornado vs Mr. Perfect, Rick Rude vs the Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart vs Mr. Perfect from Summerslam 1991, the tournament in 1990 to declare the new champion after the title was vacant since the Ultimate Warrior was WWF/E Champion.

Those would be great to see again. But what do you expect from a re-released product.

Summary: WWE stop being so damn lazy!
Review: Just to give everyone a warning: this dvd has awful matches on it. I don't know why WWE re-released it. They should have taken the time to make a great I.C. Title DVD, and not put out this piece of trash featuring 4 of Shawn Michaels' worst matches and Bret Hart vs. Skinner. Yes, you heard right. Go pick up the Andre DVD that has 10 matches from early on in his career and the new RVD DVD. Leave this one behind, believe me,....I'm as big of a fan as it gets.

Summary: What a waste
Review: There is absolutely no need for this DVD to be on the market. This DVD is a re-release of a Coliseum Home Video circa 1993, as it includes five matches from 1992 and 1993. Though Shawn Michaels is heavily featured, this period is the low point for HBK in the WWE and his 1993 matches weren't that good. Do not buy this! Most likely, the WWE will get their act together and release a true "Best of the Intercontinental Championship" DVD set in a couple of years. Hopefully it will be a 3-disc set like the Ric Flair set.

Here's some of what I would include:

1. Macho Man vs. Ricky Steamboat (WrestleMania III)
2. Honky Tonk Man vs. Ultimate Warrior (SummerSlam 88): not really a match, but a great moment involving the IC title
3. Ultimate Warrior vs. Ravishing Rick Rude (SummerSlam 89)
4. Mr. Perfect vs. Bret Hart (SummerSlam 91)
5. Rowdy Roddy Piper vs. Bret Hart (WrestleMania VIII)
6. Bret Hart vs. British Bulldog (SummerSlam 92)
7. Marty Jannetty vs. Shawn Michaels (Raw 7/93)
8. Ladder Match: Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon (WrestleMania X)
9. Jeff Jarrett vs. Shawn Michaels (In Your House 7/95)
10. Owen Hart vs. Steve Austin (SummerSlam 97)
11. Ladder Match: The Rock vs. HHH (SummerSlam 98)
12. Chris Jericho vs. Chyna (Survivor Series 99)
13. Kurt Angle vs. Chris Jericho vs. Chris Benoit (WrestleMania 2000)
14. Eddie Guerrero vs. Rob Van Dam (from April or May 2002)
15. Kane vs. Triple H (No Mercy 2002): Not a good match, but this is when the IC title was declared dead
16. IC title battle royal (Bad Blood 2003?): The title was brought back
17. Ladder Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Christian (RAW 9/29/03)
18. Randy Orton vs. Edge (Vengeance 2004)

Summary: how disappointing
Review: When I heard that this DVD was coming out, I was actually excited about it because the WWE has had some great IC title matches over the years but this is just laughable. I remember seeing some of these matches from back in the early 90's and trust me, they weren't that good. When I think of the best of the IC title match, I was thinking of matches like Steamboat vs Savage at WM3, HBK vs Scott Hall in a ladder match at WM10, and Bret Hart vs Davey Boy Smith (Summerslam 92'). Maybe throw in the triple threat b/w Angle, Benoit, and Y2J from Wrestlemania 2000, RVD vs Benoit at Summerslam 2002, Santana vs Valentine, or Bret Hart vs Roddy Piper. I mean I could think of some better matches that were classic matches that could have been put on here but instead they decide to re-release something that wasn't that good to begin with. I would recommend that you stay away from this one and find some other wwe dvd instead.
