A good match with a lot of good bumps. Good "619" to Shooting star press combo. duleyz win with a 3-D to Kidman. ****1/2
2. MATT HARDY vs KANE (winner marries Lita)
An awesome match in my opinion. Matt hits a twist of fate and uses the ring bell but still can't keep kane down. Kane wins with an awesome chokeslam from the top turnbuckle. *****
3. JOHN CENA vs BOOKER T (Best of 5 series match 1)
Very dissapointed in this match. very slow and very short. No real good moves until Cena FU'd Booker after he just finished a spinaroonie. **1/2
4. EDGE vs CHRIS JERICHO vs BATISTA (Intercontinental Title)
This is the match Edge turns heel. Crowd turns on Edge. Edge hits a couple of spears and Y2J hits the walls of Jericho aswell. batista didn't get involved much. Edge wins with a spear to Y2J. ****
5. EDDIE GUERRERO vs KURT ANGLE
Awesome match. Nice moves. Angle uses the ankle lock, so eddie uses the ankle lock. angle uses the angle slam, so eddie uses the angle slam. eddie uses the frog splash...and...and angle doesnt. Angle makes eddie tap. *****
6. EUGENE vs TRIPLE H
Eugene almost wins which is a huge mistake. The idea of Eugene beating HHH is crazy. Eugene hita a pedigree, hogan leg drop and rock bottom. hhh lands a pedigree and wins. ***1/2
7. JBL vs THE UNDERTAKER (WWE CHAMPIONSHIP)
Stupid ending but good match. JBL uses every weapon available and the ref cant see it but taker suses the chair or belt or something oncew and gets DQed. Nice moves including a last ride and a chokeslam through JBL's limo after the match. ****
8. CHRIS BENOIT vs RANDY ORTON (HEAVYWEIGHT)
Orton wins!!! Orton and Benoit put on a great show. Slow start but got going. Orton does the sickest neck breaker on Benoit. Good technical match aswell. Orton wins with an RKO which stands for Randy Keith Orton. ****1/2

Matt Hardy vs. Kane
Short but sweet. 2 nice spots but the ending was dictated by the outcome of Vengeance so there isn't much suspense. But an entertaining match regardless.
Match 1 in Best-Of-5-Series for US Championship
Booker T vs. John Cena
Not bad. I think this match was hurt by the fact that there would be no title change. Crowd was into it.
Triple Threat for the Intercontinental Championship
Edge vs. Batista vs. Chris Jericho
Edge booed in his hometown! They were trying to prove a point and did. Edge is heel now because of this. Great match with a surprisingly good effort from Batista.
Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle
Anticipated rematch from WM XX. Probably better than the first match. Angle proves he still has what it takes. Great technical battle.
Triple H vs. Eugene
I was very skeptical about this and the crowd was too. Turned out to be a pretty intense brawl with an appearance by Flair and Regal.
WWE Championship
JBL vs. Undertaker
Started off very slow but picked up and turned into a hard nosed brawl. Cool fake bump after the match.
World Heavyweight Championship
Chris Benoit vs. Randy Orton
Passing of the torch the right way with Benoit and not Triple H doing it. Fantastic match and shows that some people really care about their chosen profession. Match of the year in my view.

Match #2 Kane vs. Matt Hardy 'til Death Do Us Part match: Horrible again, except for that CHOKESLAM!!! Kane wins obviously and married Lita. Thank god for Snitsky! 5/10
Match #3 John Cena vs. Booker T (c) in match 1/5 for the US Title: Not bad, but could have been better...Spinarooni ---> FU! Cena wins the match and the series! 6/10
Match #4 Edge (c) vs. Jericho vs. BATISTA for the IC Title: This was good! Batista should have won, but he didn't cuz he was kinda out of place in this match. But who cares, he won the RUMBLE!!! Oh yeah and Edge retains. 8/10
Match #5 Kurt Angle vs. Eddie Guererro: Awesome but not as good as Mania. I'm glad Kurt made this piece of junk tap, tAP, TAP!!!

Match #7 JBL (c) vs. Taker for the WWE Title: This was way way too long and it sucked all because of TAKER! He got himself DQ'd then tried to show off by chokeslamming JBL through the limo. JBL is THE MAN and RETAINS!!! 5/10
Match #8 Chris Benoit (c) vs. Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Title: My bad, this was the worst match of all time!!! Randy Orton sucks like no other and Benoit should not have lost the title to him! Since this match they have screwed Benoit over big time and Randy Orton has FAILED!!! BOOOOO! 0000/10 due to the end of this match, but the wrestling was decent...
I got this for my friend for X-mas cuz he is Randy Orton's biggest fan, but seriously, don't waste your money on this, seriously!!!

Review: SummerSlam 2004 was possibly my favorite PPV of the year and all the matches were intense.
Paul London, Billy Kidman & Rey Mysterio vs. Dudley Boyz. This was an okay opener but it is no where as good as you people say it is. The Dudleyz win after a 3-D on Kidman and Spike covered Kidman for the win. 6/10
Kane vs. Matt Hardy in the 1st Ever Till' Death Do Us Part Match. I hated the storyline leading up to this match but the mtch itself was pretty good and at least it was better then their match at Vengeance. Kane wins after he does a top-rope Chokeslam for the 3. 7/10
Booker T vs. John Cena in the #1st match out of 5 Best for the United States Championship. Good match but the ending brings down the rating. Booker does a Spin-a-roonie then he turns into a F-U. 7/10
Edge vs. Batista vs. Chris Jericho in a Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Championship. Great Triple Threat match but Batista seemed like he didn't belong. Edge retains after a vicious Spear on Y2J. 8/10
Kurt Angle vs. Eddie Guerrero in a WrestleMania Rematch. No doubt this was a great match but no where near as close as their WrestleMania match. Except this time Angle wins when he made Eddie tap out to the Ankle Lock. 8/10
Triple H vs. Eugene. This was a excellent match to put Eugene over that he can hang with the big boys. Even though HHH wins with his famous Pedigree still an excellent match. 8/10
JBL vs. Undertaker for the WWE Championship. This was a okay match in the ring but the reason the rating is what it is, is because of the end. Undertaker gets himself disqualified and then proceeds to beat JBL to a bloody pulp and Chokeslam him through his windshield. 9/10
Chris Benoit vs. Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship. This is a The Match of the Night easily. Orton deserved to win but Benoit should have held the title longer. Great match. Orton wins after he reversed the Crossface and hit the RKO. 9/10
SummerSlam is the best non WrestleMania PPV in the last 2 years. Go and pick it up!!!
