Review: I got this DVD last sunday and I got to say what a great DVD! "Hard Knocks" tells you all about Benoit like how he got into wrestling, how Dynamite Kid was his big infulence, how he started his training in Stu Harts Dungeon. This also gives use matches from Chris Benoit in Japen, ECW, WCW and WWE. It also shows the match on Chris Benoit got his name The Cripppler where he broke Sabu's neck.The extras on the DVD are cool because it has Benoit matches against Eddie Guerreo, Booker T, Sid Vicous, Bret Hart and many more. This also features Benoits big match at Wrestlemania 20 against Triple H and Shawn Michaels in a triple threat for the World Heavyweight Championship. Benoit wins the big one at Wrestlemania 20 and it took him 18 years to get there. So if your a Chirs Benoit fan or just a Wrestling Fan this is the DVD to pick up and add to your collection!

Review: Chris Benoit is the world heavyweight champion, a eighteen year veteran in the pro wrestling circles.He is probably the best technical wrestler to ever step foot in the squared circle. Now a dvd will be coming out about him. This dvd will probably go one in two ways: It will be a documentary style about his eighteen year journey to become the world heavyweight champion, or it will be a collection of matches spanning back all the way to the old ECW, or even before that in Japan. The matches will most likely have his wars with: Chris Jericho, Technical warfare with Kurt Angle, his legendary matches with Eddie Gureurro, and maybe his triple threat with Triple H and Shawn Micheals.I think that with this dvd the wwe should put it together like the From The Vault with Shawn Micheals. Any way this dvd will surely be a classic since it is already known to be a two disc set. Go out and buy it when it comes out.

Summary: Great guide to WWE star
Review: Hard Knocks consists of a documentary describing Chris Benoit's rise up the pro wrestling ladder plus 15 of his matches spanning just as many years, from his time in the Japanese federations in 1990 right up to Wrestlemania in 2004.
The documentary contains lots of interviews with Benoit's family and his WWE colleagues Eddie Guerrero and Dean Malenko. He comes across as a really nice guy and it's interesting hearing how dedicated he was to making a career in grappling at a very early age. He idolized the Dynamite Kid and from the clips it's amazing how similar their ring styles are - they even look alike.
Of the matches, I liked the two early Japanese shows the best, against Jushin Liger and Eddie Guerrero. These were the days when Benoit wrestled under the name Pegasus Kid and Eddie appeared as Black Tiger. You've got the option of alternative commentaries on these bouts so you get to hear Benoit commenting on his own moves, together with Malenko, who also wrestled at the same time in Japan.
Overall, this is a good value DVD with a nice balance between documentary footage and whole matches.

Summary: Chris Benoit- 4 Real!
Review: I think the Chris Benoit Story was very well produced, everything flowed very well. He was very smart in how he glossed over the Kevin Sullivan/Woman ordeal. A great story of how hard work and never giving up helped Benoit reach the top of the mountain. The matches were very solid. I liked how he talked about Owen Hart's death and we got to learn a little about his life before he wrestled full time. A must buy!

Review: If your a wrestling fan and like to collect DVD's like this trust me, you'll love this one also. It's a great DVD to own. It has tons of extras (mostly matches). This is perfect for a Chris Benoit fan, it's perfect for any wrestling fan period.
The one hour documentary on his career is great in my opinion. I recommend this DVD for anyone.
