Summary: Leaves you wanting seconds
Review: If your looking for a calssic moments tape you won't find it here most of the clips are of the guys they have right now and are trying to show the past, classic moments like Warrior and Heenan and teh horrible gobblety gooker are absent but is still worth the money you just might want to get the old videos to see teh classic stuff.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: I cant believe a tape could be that bad
Review: it had too many interviews and showed one of the elimination matches which were the best. it skipped a few years and didn't even show the bret vs. shawn match.this tape is only 1 hour so w/ the interviews, you probably saw 30 minutes of action. why cant the wwf do their best of tapes like wcw. the best of halloween havoc and the best of bash at the beach are awesome. i would recommend never to buy this tape. it isnt worth a dollar.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: a bit of a letdown
Review: like many people have said, they left out the bret vs. shawn match from 92, which was a good match, and they also sorta forgot what survivor series was originally about (they basically emphasises only the singles matches)i wouldnt recomend buying this

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Quite good
Review: Most of the matches in this video are good. The video brings you up to date and shows you what was happening at the time of the Survivor Series. The matches are Undertaker vs. Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart vs. Bob Backlund, Mankind vs. Undertaker, The Ultimate Warrior's team vs. Andre the Giant's team, Hulk's team vs. Andre's team, Hart Family vs. Shawn Michael's team, Undertaker vs. Yokozuna, Goldust vs. Bigelow, Bret Hart vs. Austin, Kane vs. Mankind, Owen Hart vs. Steve Austin and Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: A poor review
Review: Nowhere near the quality level of its WrestleMania counterpart. Two huge blunders in this tape: a) the 1992 Survivor Series is left out altogether (that was the event in which Bret Hart wrestled Shawn Micheals for the first time on PPV, one of the greatest Survivor Series matches ever) and b) in discussing the events at the end of the 1997 event, narrator Micheal Cole, with a straight face, proclaims that Bret Hart had let down his fans, his country and his legacy. Footage is then shown of Bret destroying TV monitors. Of course, the reasons behind this are never explained.

Summary: this video sucked where is the part on the champ the Rock
Review: Really sucke

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Terrible.....
Review: Terrible terrible video. 35 Minutes of this 1 hour video is interviews with McMahon, Austin, Undertaker, Dustin, and clips of the Hogan/Andre Wrestlemania match. This video was only made to highlight the WWF's current stars and that's wrong, you have to have respect for your past. Rocky Maivia's debut isn't in this tape,.... but Goldust's is?...Bret Hart's return isn't in here either, and neither is his match with Shawn Michaels in '92. This tape doesn't even show clips of 3 Servivor Series'. Terrible tape.

Review: that this is going to be the best eve

Summary: Great Idea, bad picks for matches
Review: The Best of Survivor Series could have been so much better but it wasn't. Reason, [poor] picks from more or less the same era of the WWF(E). Honestly, number one reason for me, I would've traded anything to do with the Bam Bam/Goldust match.

That and Survivor Series is all about the Survivor Matches. Granted yes there have been some memorable singles matches at Survivor Series but even so, the good ones weren't used and the most important one of all time (Hart vs Michaels, "Bret gets screwed") was basically swept underneth a rug. Dumb and [poor].

I can think of atleast 5 matches that should have been on this DVD like, the first all woman Survivor Series match at the 1st ever Survivor Series, the 20 Man Tag Team Survivor match that had legendary names in it like the Bulsheviks, Strike Force, the Killer Bees and Even Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake. The 4 Doinks vs Bam Bam Bigelow's team, another hilarious match and a very good match as well. The Hart and Michaels match in FULL LENGTH! And of my all time favorites, the Return of Jimmy Superfly Snuka in 95 (or 96?).

Again, could have been better. I'd skip this one and wait till a better one comes out.

Summary: Not Very Good...Bad Picks for Matches
Review: The following matches are on this tape:

The Undertaker's debut, Undertaker vs. Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart vs. Bob Backlund, The Ultimate Warrior's team vs. Andre the Giant's team, Hulk's team vs. Andre's team, Hart Family vs. Shawn Michael's team, Goldust vs. Bigelow, Bret Hart vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kane vs. Mankind, Owen Hart vs. Austin, & Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels

While this may look like a solid bunch of matches, there's really nothing verry good about it. The video was VERY short, a bit less than an hour, and missed MANY highlights of Survivor Series' past, while showing many highlights of Survivor Series' past matches, but none of the really famous ones. While it does feature the infamous Bret Hart/Shawn Michaels 1997 Infamous Controversial confrontation, Owen's exciting turn on his brother, Bret, Bret/Austin's 1996 Grudge match, Undertaker's title win and debut, etc., many more of the legendary highlights have been forgotten. This includes the first battle between Bret and Shawn at the '92 Survivor Series, Sid/Shawn, Mankind/'Taker, Rock's debut (all in '96), etc. and they just plain didn't even cover three of the annual events.

The video ocuses greatly on the Bret/Shawn '97 Screwjob, and includes the Vince McMahon interview in whole where Vince proclaims innocently like a little ... that, quote-on-quote, "Bret screwed Bret." Michael Cole commentates the whole video. They focused way too much on some matches, like Bigelow/Goldust, where they should have instead been focusing on the original Bret/HBK match in '92 and the Sid/Shawn match in '96. All in all, the main problem with this video was that it was SO short. When I watched it, it seemed to go by so fast, and was done practically by the time I started watching it. I do NOT reccomend it. Instead, go get "Hitman Hart: Wrestling With Shadows" for the REAL story on the Bret/Vince screwjob.

I was hoping, when I got this tape, for an exciting afternoon of rare footage and historic matchups, but what I got was a bad series of picks of matches that were on the tape. There were many other historic matches that should've been included, and that weren't. DON'T buy it. "Hitman Hart: Wrestling With Shadows" is MUCH better!
