Summary: Best PPV I've Seen
Review: WWE Championship Hell In A Cell-Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman vs. Undertaker
This match was incredible! No doubt the 2nd best hell in a cell match ever!(Only to the No Way Out 2000 HHH vs. Cactus Jack)Amazing to see Brock show us his stuff with little help from Heyman. I love all matches between Brock and Taker (No Way Out 2003, Unforgiven 2003, and this) Just incredible match! I give it a 10/10

Women's Championship-Trish Stratus vs. Victoria
I hate the women's matches the only reason why I watch them is because they are sooo hot! I give this match a 1/10

WWE Tag Team Championship-Edge and Rey Mysterio vs. Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit
WOW! That is all you can say about this match. Without a doubt the very best tag team match I have ever seen. That is saying a whole lot considering all the TLC, Table, and Ladder matches. Rey ceases to amaze me with his great moves and Angle and Benoit were tremendous. I have to give this match 10/10

World Heavyweight Championship and Intercontinental Championship-HHH vs. Kane
Why are Women's Championship matches after World Heavyweight Championship matches now? I think it's dumb. But anyway, Flair and HHH get the sledgehammer and defeat Kane and the beginning of Evolution starts. (The best group ever in the WWE) This match was incredible though, I give it a 9/10

WWE Cruiserweight Championship-Jamie Noble w/ Nidia vs. Tajiri
BORING! A few good flying moves but other than that a stupid match trying to fill some empty space on the card. I give this match a 3/10

Rob Van Dam vs. Ric Flair
WOOOO! Flair still has it. This match was pretty good. Not great but good. I give it a 7/10

Torrie Wilson vs. Dawn Marie
Once again another stupid match with women. I give it a 1/10

World Tag Championship-Chris Jericho and Christian vs. Booker T and Goldust
Good opener but nothing fantastic. A good match to get your blood pumping and get you ready for later matches. Solid match and I give it a 6/10

Summary: A Little Bit Of Everything
Review: WWE No Mercy was a pretty solid PPV. Like Unforgiven I didn't really like No Mercy when I first saw it. But, after watching it again, the PPV proved to be pretty decent. No Mercy was held in October 2002 at the Altell Arena in Little Rock, Arkansas. I would actually rank this PPV a 3.5, but I though a 3 would be too low. Anyways, I will rank and review the matches. They are based out of 10 points.

1. CHRIS JERICHO & CHRISTIAN (VS) BOOKER T & GOLDUST (WORLD TAG TITLE)
This was a decent match. It seemed like Booker T and Goldust had a title shot at every PPV and on every RAW, but they never won (they finally won at Armageddon 2002). Good opening match. The best spot is when Jericho goes to give Goldust the Lionsault and the middle rope snaps. Jericho improvises by doing a Moonsault. He gets the pin to retain the Tag Titles. (7.5/10)
2. TORRIE WILSON (VS) DAWN MARIE
This was the beginning of their long lasting feud. This was the first of two women's matches of the night. Why? Torrie wins. (2/10)
3. RVD (VS) RIC FLAIR
This match stemmed from the incident at Unforgiven. They really didn't have beef though until the RAW before No Mercy. This match was a lot better than I anticpated. RVD wins with the Five Star Frogsplash. (7/10)
4. JAMIE NOBLE (VS) TAJIRI (CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE)
This was the first Cruiserweight match on a PPV since Vengeance in July. This was definately the darkhorse match of the night. Too bad the Cruiserweights are utilized as much as they should be. They both pull off some pretty sick moves, especially the DDT by Tajiri. Jamie Noble wins it to retain the title. Good post match action. (8/10)
5. TRIPLE H (VS) KANE (WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT/INTERCONTINETNAL)
This match started because of the horrible accusation by Triple H on Kane. Vince went a little to far with this angle. Solid match, but nothing too special. Kane chokeslams Triple H through an announce table. Triple H wins with the Pedigree after hitting Kane with the sledgehammer (Of Course). (7.5/10)
6. KURT ANGLE & CHRIS BENOIT (VS) EDGE & REY MYSTERIO (WWE TAG TITLE/TOURNAMENT FINAL)
This might be the best straight up tag team match in history. This match is absolutely amazing. The action is non-stop. Sick moves, great counters, and a lot of close falls. The best part is that there is a clean ending. Angle & Benoit become the inaugural champs as Angle gets Mysterio to tap to the Ankle Lock. Amazing match. (10/10)
7. TRISH STRATUS (VS) VICTORIA (WOMEN'S TITLE)
Trish wins. Who cares. (3/10)
8. BROCK LESNAR (VS) UNDERTAKER (WWE TITLE/HELL IN A CELL)
This match probably should have just been a Street Fight. This is one of the bloodiest matches you will ever see. Undertaker bleeds like crazy. Even Heyman bleeds in this match. Good finish. Lesnar wins with the F-5 to retain the title. (8/10)

EXTRAS
Nothing special. There is a good promo for the history of the Intercontinental Title. One of the best interviews is with Edge because we learn Edge was sick for the whole match.

Overall, No Mercy was a decent PPV. Nothing too special. I recommend this DVD for the Smackdown tag match alone. It is absolutely amazing.

Summary: HELL IN A CELL - SEE IT!
Review: WWE No Mercy was a very cool pay-per-view event which took place in Little Rock, AR. A friend of mine recorded it off PPV and let me borrow it. I watched it, and it was pretty cool. But the only match you'll probably care about seeing is the Hell In a Cell match between Brock Lesnar & The Undertaker. Anybody that says wrestling is 'all fake', I dare that person to eat supper while watching Hell In a Cell. The Undertaker & Brock Lesnar beat the...out of each other. At one point, Lesnar throws a set of steel steps at Undertaker, and next thing you know, he's got blood literally pouring from a nasty gash on his forehead. Blood spatters all over ringside, all over the wrestling ring, & I mean EVERYWHERE!This match is ECW quality! No barbed wire or thumbtacks, and no fighting ontop of the cell, but still very gruesome and disturbing at times. Gorehounds will surely love this one! Be sure & order this video right now here on Amazon.com You'll get your money's worth, even if you get it just for the Cell match.
P.S. The Hell In a Cell match is quite graphic and may never see the light of day on cable TV. TOO BLOODY!...
ALSO: IF YOU'RE A WRESTLING FAN WHO HATES PAUL HEYMAN, THEN YOU'LL ALSO GET A KICK OUT OF THE CELL MATCH!

Summary: No Mercy could've been better but none the less good
Review: WWE's 2002 No Mercy could've been better but was one the less good.If you want a great No Mercy try WWE No Mercy 2001.Edge vs Christian in a ladder match is a classic. But on to the 2002's edition.
Jericho and christian vs Booker T and Goldust-Tag Titles-Great choice for an opener-The crowd was really into it-I give major points to Jericho because when he went for the Lionsault the middle rope broke! But he used his head and hit a big moonsault from the top rope.4 stars!

Ric Flair vs Rob Van Dam-This was alot better than i expected-In my opinion Flair needs to stop jobbing to everyone and start winning-beating Flair is not that big of an acomplishment anymore.3 and 3/4 stars

Torrie Wilson vs Dawn Marie-ok folks i am sorry but this really was a good match considering who was in it.It by far never got boring-nice ending too-very entertaining-3 and 1/2 stars

Jamie Noble vs Tajiri-Cruiserweight title-probably the worst match of the night-The WWE needs better a better lightweight division-Jamie Noble sucks and Tajiri could do much better-2 and 3/4 stars

HHH vs Kane-Raw heavy weight championship-very good match-a little slow moving but it turns to be a great contest-Kane gets screwed-no secret-HHH wont job to anybody but his ol' bud shawn-4 and 1/2 stars

Edge and Rey Mysterio vs Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit-Smakchdown Tag team title match-Great match-definatly what you would want from these 4-NEVER even gets close to boring-very exciting-4 and 3/4 stars-these 4 had an even better match with the guerreos at survivor series-an it was 5 stars!

Trish Stratus vs Victoria-womens's title-the two best WWE women's wrestlers square off in a mediorce match-had potential to be better-theor hardcore match Survivor series ruled!but as for this match-3 stars

Brock Lesnar vs Undertaker-HELL IN A CELL-WWE smackdown title-very bruta-VERY bloody-very violent-it could've been a little better in my opinion-they didnt even go outside the cell-but non the less a classic-4 solid stars

Buy this for all the good macthes-but if you want a great event from 2002-get The Survivor series-it is a 5 star classic all around!
