Summary: A Must Buy PPV!
Review: the reason why you need to buy this dvd is cause of one match, kurt angle vs. shane o'mac in the street fight. this was the greatest match of all time in my opinion cause of the entertainment. by far, the best part of the match was shane getting thrown into the glass wall by kurt and him not being able to put shane through it on the first try. the dvd also gives interviews about the match from both superstars, which makes it that much sweeter. the crowd wasnt really into the ppv, but they were off their lazy butts for this match, it was crazy. the rest of the ppv is awesome (best kor since 1998) besides the very disappointing and very dumb ddp & taker confrontation. i would tell any one who likes good wrestling and good entertainment to buy this dvd. the street fight is totally worth the money alone, trust me you wont be disappointed.

Summary: Rent it for sure!
Review: The whole PPV was pretty good. Angle vs Shane was the best match on the card. It so far is probably the best match of the year. Quite a few good spots, great finish. Main event was ok, and so were the rest of the matches. Except the DDP Undertaker confrontation.

Summary: WWF King of the Ring 2001
Review: The WWF delivered with King of the Ring 2001. It could have been a little better, but they pulled of a solid show. The better matches was without a doubt the Street fight, Edge vs. Rhyno, Edge vs. Kurt Angle, X-Pac vs. Jeff Hardy. Some did dissapoint though, like the DDP/Undertaker Confrintation which was completley pointless and didn't settle anything, Undertaker said that the man who was the stalker would die 1,000 deaths, well I wouldn't say a kick and punch match was exactly that. Alot of fans say the Main Event didn't live up to expectation, I agree yet it was still good. Having Edge win the King of the Ring Tournament was great! Here is a match by match run down:

King of the Ring Semi Finals:Kurt Angle vs. Christian: 7/10- Pretty good match, what a King of the Ring match should be, Shane McMahon involvment made it alot better.

King of the Ring Semi Finals:Edge vs. Rhyno- 7/10- Good match, Edge takes a beating to his ribs and the double spear/gore was amazing. Did not dissapoint.

Tag Team Title Match:Dudleyz vs. Spike Dudley and Kane- 6/10-pretty good match, just added to the card on Sunday Night Heat, it had good buildup with the "tough love" storyline, I think it was pretty good.

King of the Ring finals: Kurt Angle vs. Edge- 7/10- The crowd wasn't into the match, but if you watch it, it was very good. Edge and Kurt showed off their skills in a good match. I thought the Shane McMahon inteference kind of foreshadowed Edge winning, but I guess it built up the street fight.

Lightheavyweight Championship: Jeff Hardy vs. X-Pac- 7/10- People say this match is bad, but Jeff Hardy put on a great 1-on-1 match, notice I said JEFF HARDY, X-Pac pretty much bored the crowd with sleeper holds over and over.

Confrontation: Undertaker vs. DDP- Can't rate- Pointless, should have saved for Raw, just a bunch of punches and kicks. Didn't help build up anything, showed the future of the fued, BORING.

Street Fight: Kurt Angle vs. Shane McMahon- 9.5/10- Best match on the card hands down. Amazing spots with every style of wrestling from technical to hardcore. The glass spot is the best, I bet you will agree to. If you have the DVD Version like me, there is an alternate commentating of the match from both Shane McMahon and Kurt Angle and they are both great. Definate canidate for Match of the Year.

WWF Championship- Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho- 6/10- Okay I'll admit most of the match was very slow, but they where some nice moves in there, like the Benoit stunner and alot of moves by Jericho. A huge spot was the Benoit chair shot. Most of the match was not Triple Threat mostly Austin vs. Jericho. But you have to take into consideration Benoit's neck was hurt and this was his last match until 2002. Booker T. coming out was a good spot and helped get the match over better with fans, but a carless throw by Booker T. through the announce table obviously hurst Austin's back. Overall not bad Main Event, could have been better though, to many punches and chops.

I have the DVD Version, the Street Fight alternate commentating is great. If your a WWF fan get it, and if you have a DVD player, get it on DVD. Pretty good event.

Summary: PERFECT EVENT
Review: the wwf out did there selfs on this event. every match was good i had no problem with them. get the tape. but the best match that night was kurt angle vs shane and the king of the ring finals between kurt and edge. but cant forget about the main event which was austin vs jericho vs benoit. good match too. i cant say which king of the ring i like the most outta this one and 2000s king of the ring which my favorite wrestler next 2 bret hart, chris benoit, sting, owen hart, rick rude, mr perfect, and steve austin, kurt angle won the kotr tourie.

Summary: One of the better King of The Rings.
Review: This King of the Ring was much better than 2000s and 1999s. Let's match-by-match this, shall we?

Undertaker meets DDP: It sounds like the two are gathering for tea. A senseless, pointless brawl. If Taker really wanted to get back at DDP, he would have done alot more than punching and kicking. 6/10

Jeff Hardy vs. X-Pac: Good, solid match. 7/10

Kurt Angle vs. Christian: Exactly what should be expected for the tournament. 8/10

Edge vs. Rhyno: On the same level as Angle/Christian. 8/10

Kurt Angle Vs. Edge: Read what I said for Christian/Angle. This is what should be of the tournament. Not Bull Buchanan vs. Crash like last year. 8/10.

Kurt Angle vs. Shane McMahon: Shane ceases to amaze me. He takes unbelievable bumps. 9/10

Chris Jericho vs. Chris Benoit vs. Steve Austin: A good, solid, main event. Ten times better than last years 6-man tag. 9/10

Rating: 5 stars
