Summary: Best Wrestlemania of All Time!
Review: This Wrestlemania was absolutely amazing! I've never seen anything quite like it, ever in Wrestling. If you haven't seen this, it's a must. The best matches were the incredible street fight between Shane McMahon and his father Vince, TLC 2, Kurt Angle VS. Chris Benoit, HHH VS. Taker', and the positively unbelievable main event between Stone Cold and The Rock. Here's a short runthrough of each of those 5 matches;

Shane VS. Vince: HOLY FLYING MONKEYS OF GOD! Shane is one of the most suicidal wrestlers I've ever seen. I mean, c'mon. Time and time again he'll risk his life for the fans, by flying from heights sometimes reaching all the way up to 30 feet. If given more time in the ring, he could become the next Mick Foley. But considering Mick's current physical condition right now, maybe that's not such a bad thing. But onto the match. Lets see, Mick Foley was the special guest referee. In the beginning we don't see all too much to make a fan want to watch this match time and time again. But when Linda Mcmahon, Trish, and the aforementioned hardcore legend himself, MICK FOLEY start getting involved, it gets very entertaining. Then Shane proves the point that I expressed above by executing the amazing VAN TERMINATOR on his father to end the match. I tend to wonder how much time Shane spent at RVD's house to learn that move, and speaking of Rob Van Dam, when in the hell is he gonna be signed to a WWFE contract to come to the WWF or work in the new WCW!?

TLC 2: TLC matches.....they've become somewhat of a novelty in the WWF and other places, such a ECW. But despite all this, when the Hardy's, E&C, and the Dudleys get together for these, you can always expect something amazing, and that's what we got. Unfortunately, this and the Smackdown TLC 3 match we recently saw are probably gonna be some of the last matches of this type we'll see between these 3 teams, because it seems that by the end of the year, they will all be broken up.

Kurt Angle VS. Chris Benoit: Very very good technical wrestling match. The beginning was actually very much in an amateur style. After that, it slowely got kinda boring, but still an exceptional match, and highly recommended just for those first few minutes in the beginning.

The Game VS. The Man Who owns The Yard: Who knew that Taker had this in him? I honestly had no idea. Or maybe it was just the fact that HHH was carrying him the whole way. Some definetly awesome spots, including Taker' choke slamming HHH off this small piece of scaffolding onto the arena floor. Plus there's HHH hitting Taker with a sledgehammer in the middle of a "Last Ride" Powerbomb. Definetly a very good matchup, worth the price of the tape. But then agan, there's quite a few matches on here that were worth the price of this tape. That's the reason why I'm calling it, THE GREATEST WWF EVENT OF ALL TIME!

Stone Cold 3:16 VS. The Rock: Excellent main event. Probably the match of the show. It's worth seeing just for the ending where Vince teams with SCSA. Some great wrestling from both involved. We also get to see Stone Cold go back to his roots for just one night by using the Million Dollar Dream which was his finisher back when he was just Steve Austin, no Stone Cold. So yeah, definetly reason enough to get this PPV.

Overall, the best wrestlemania of all time, and one of the best wrestling shows of all time period. If you don't go and buy this right now it just means that you're wicked stupid and have no appreciation for good wrestling. So go, don't read any more of this review and click the purchase button near the top of the right hand corner of the page!

Summary: G.O.A.T. = Greatest of All Time
Review: Simply put, as long as you live, you may never see another PPV this good again. I'm a big backer of calling Wrestlemania III, the greatest supercard ever but Wrestlemania X-7 puts it to shame. From top to bottom (with the exception of Chyna/Ivory) just a superb card.

The standout matches are the McMahon vs. McMahon battle, Angle vs. Benoit, TLC 2, and Austin-Rock. Even Triple H/Undertaker exceeded expectations. Overall, the show features great matches, a hot crowd and two of the greatest Wrestlemania bouts ever (TLC 2, Austin/Rock).

The DVD extras include a lot of Sunday Night Heat stuff which is nice. The only negative is they threw a lot of stuff that's already on the card into extras (highlight video, feud recaps). However, they made up for it big time by including a nice recap of the next night on Raw which has never been included on a WWF DVD before.

It's this simple. If you're a casual or diehard wrestling fan you NEED this DVD. You may never see anything like this card ever again.

Summary: Best 2001 pay-per-view so far
Review: Intercontinental Championship Jericho vs Regal *** star match

6 Man Tag Rtc vs Acolytes&Tazz 1/2 star match

Hardcore Championship Triple Threat Rules Raven vs Kane vs Bigshow **** star match

European Championship Test vs Guerrero **1/2 star match

Benoit vs Angle *** star match Womens Championship Ivory vs Chyna ** star match

McMahon Street Fight Vince vs Shane Special Ref Mick Foley ***** star match

TLC 2 The Hardyz vs Edge&Christian vs The Dudleyz ***** star match

Gimmick battle Royal ****1/2 star match

HHH vs Undertaker **** match

WWF Championship No Disqualifications The Rock vs Stone Cold ***** star match

The IC Title match was OK. Since Regal lost, that made it better. The 6 man tag stunk. The Hardcore match went everywhere and overthrew my expectations. The European Title Match was dumb. It was a nobodies war. Test did great and deserved the match. Benoit and Angle was boring. But the end was fair. The Women's match was boring and it helped that it was short. The street fight ruled! Finally Vince loses and gets a 4 on 2 attack (Shane, Foley, Linda, and Trish Vs. Steph and vince) Shane was amazing! TlC 2 was sweet like the first TLC match. If you saw the first TLC you would know how amazing it was. The Gimmick Match was funny. It's good to see Mean Gene and the Brain back. Sheik won but..... Game and Taker went everywhere Taker deserved every bit of his win. The Main Event everyone knew it was going to be awesome. They were wrong it was even better than that. I love Wrestlemania because almost all the heels a lost. Very unordinary! I would reccomend this to anyone and everyone. You must get this!

Summary: Great event, poor dvd
Review: While Wrestlemania X7 itselt was a great event - the crowd really got into it which motivated the performers - there's nothing "special" on the dvd - no audio commentaries, no alternate angles, no exclusive backstage happenings - other than an interview with chris benoit - no hidden tracks. The specials consist of Flashbacks - which they show during the event anyways - the X-Factor pre-Wrestlemania match from heat - there was a reason this wasn't on Wrestlemania itself - and other assorted clips from "Axxess" which were all shown on Sunday Night Heat.

Even though there was nothing "special" on the DVD version, the event itself was fantastic, and when you combine that with dvd quality picture and sound, its enough of a reason to buy it.

Summary: THE GREATEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: This year's event ultimately proved that WrestleMania is the grandest spectacle in Sports-Entertainment!! I definately thought that this year's Mania was the greatest of all time. It included all the ingredients needed to keep you thoroughly entertained throughout the entire 4 hours. Tables, Ladders & Chairs, Father vs. Son in a Street Fight, a Classic Amatuer Wrestling between too of the greatest in the business, 67,000 screaming fans at the Houston Astrodome, 6 titles on the line, and the main event being the WWF Championship match between the two biggest names in the business - what more can anyone ask for? Here is the card:

WWF Intercontinental Championship Chris Jericho vs. William Regal - a great opener with excellent mat skills and these two performing to the best of their ability. Highlight: Jericho foiling the commisioner's plans to capture the Intercontinental title by winning and retaining the belt.

Six-Man Tag Team Match The Right to Censor vs. The Acolytes & Tazz - One of the best six-man tag matches i've seen, but nothing special. Highlight: Bradshaw pinning the Goodfather to win the match in front of his home state.

Hardcore Championship Kane vs. Raven vs. The Big Show - very entertaining with several high spots as the three men battled all over the Astrodome. This one will keep you tuned from start to finish. Highlight - the backstage brawl including a plate glass window and two golf carts, and Kane winning the title by giving Big Show a legdrop off the stage.

European Championship Eddie Guerrero vs. Test - surprisingly, I really enjoyed this one. Great contest. The intereference from the Radikalz made it even better. Highlight: Test proving that he deserves to achieve main-event status.

Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit - The best technical war that I have ever seen in the WWF. Both men displayed their amazing amatuer wrestling ability. The end was the only thing that disappointed me, as Kurt picked up the win by grabbing the tights. Highlight : the technical wrestling style showcased by two of the greatest in the business.

Women's Championship Chyna vs. Ivory - RTC were banned from ringside, which left Ivory easy prey for Chyna. Nothing special. Highlight: Chyna finally winning her revenge over Ivory and getting the title.

Street Fight Shane McMahon vs. Vince McMahon - Shane buying WCW over Vince added to the intensity of this one. It was a bad night for Vince, as his companion Trish slapped him in the face, and his own wife Linda kicked him - well, you know where, helping her son in the defeat of the Chairman. Highlight: Shane misses and elbow drop off the top rope through the announce table, and wins the match by diving across the ring from turnbuckle-to-turnbuckle, drop kicking a garbage can into his dad's face, with, of course, help from his mom and also Mick Foley who served as the ref.

TLCII match for the Tag Team Championships Hardy Boyz vs. Dudley Boyz vs. Edge & Christian - E&C proved once again that they are the best tag team in the WWF by winning the titles for the seventh time with some help from Rhyno. But, WOW!! WHAT A MATCH!! Highlights: Jeff hits a Swanton Bomb off a 15ft. Ladder onto Spike and Rhyno through two tables! Edge spears Jeff, who is hanging onto the belts in the air, off of a 15ft. Ladder down to the mat! Rhyno tips the 15ft. ladder with Bubba and Matt on it and the two fall to the outside of the ring throught 4 tables!!

Gimmick Battle Royalm - a funny over-the-top-rope Battle Royal including the all-time greats in the business. Iron Sheik wins when he eliminates Hillbilly Jim. Sgt. Slaughter locks the Sheik in a cobra clutch after the match. Highlight: Bobby Heenan and Gene Okurland returning to the WWF to do commentary for the match

Triple H vs. The Undertaker Undertaker improves his WrestleMania record to 9-0 when he defeats Triple H in a battle of two of the best. Definately one of my personal favourites from the event. Highlight: Triple H gets chokslammed off the stage and then elbowdropped; Triple H nails the Undertaker with a sledgehammer while up in the Last Ride.

WWF Championship Match The Rock vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin - In my view, the greatest WWF title match ever at the greatest pay-per-view ever! This match exceeded all of my expectations as it kept me entertained throughout as the two men performed to the absolute best of their ability. Vince skrews The Rock and costs him the WWF Title!! Austin shakes hands with McMahon and embraces with him as the show ends!!! Highlight: The Rock kicks out of every move that Austin executes on him including 2 or 3 Stunners, a chair shot and even a Rock Bottom. It was surprising how much these two endured throughout this match. Amazing performance by both Rock and Austin and a sure candidate for match of the year. WOW!!

Summary: THE GREATEST EVENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE WWF !
Review: ive been watching the wwf since 1990, and i can honestly say that this is the best show the wwf has ever put on.

firstly the arena. as if to underline the importance of wrestlemania this was not held in the conventional 18,000 fans arena, but in the astrodome, with a 65,000 capacity. this really gave it an unforgettable atmosphere.

the 2 wrestlemanias before it (15 & 16) were very disappointing, and the wwf knew they had to put on an unforgettable show. it was far superior to that.

the matches were unbeliveable! usually at a ppv there are 1 or 2 outstanding matches, but i cant possibly pick one out from this event. angle vs benoit, tlc2, taker vs hhh, and especially the mian event. it was magnificent.

like wm 16, if it has a bad ending, you can complain about it, and say it ruined the event, but this wrestlemania was so good, i cant complain about the ending. a truly superb video. BUY IT!
