Summary: 30 Men. One Match. One WINNER!
Review: Spike & Tazz v. Dudley Boyz World Tag Titles
This match was very good. Spike & Tazz work well together. How do the Dudleyz not win. Spike & Tazz retain.****

William Regal v. Edge IC Title
This match was very entertaining. Edge beats the heck out of Regal then Regal uses knucks to retain.***3/4

Trish Stratus v. Jazz Women's Title
This match was very slow and boring. It can't make it horrible. Trish retains.**

Ric Flair v. Vince McMahon Street Fight
This match was completely awesome. Flair & Vince have great chemistry. Flair beats Vince with the Figure Four.*****

Chris Jericho v. The Rock World Title
This was another good match. Y2J continues to ROCK my world. He wins with the help of Christian & Storm. The Un-Americans start to form. Y2J retains.****

Royal Rumble Match
This match was predictable but then it became unpredictable. HHH returns to win the Rumble when he throws Angle over.****1/2

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent PPV to start off new year
Review: Tazz & Spike vs. Dudley Boyz - ***3/4, more exciting than expected.
Edge vs. Regal - ***3/4, just like all of Regal's matchs, ground work, but still lots of excitment.
Trish vs. Jazz - ***3/4, pretty fast moving, some reversals that you don't expect.
Vince vs. Flair(Street Fight)**** - no one expected what Flair had coming by Vince.
Jericho vs. Rock - *****, not as good as the one at No Mercy, buy still, best match of the night.
Royal Rumble - ****1/2, Mr.Perfect, Goldust, Val Venis, and Godfather make there return.

Summary: The best Royal Rumble ever, period!
Review: The 2002 edition of the Royal Rumble was personally the greatest Rumble I'd ever seen, having watched it last night on PPV. Even the last 2 Rumbles don't come to par with this one. The matches are soo intense and action packed that you will be watching it over and over again. Matches include:
-Tag Team Championship: Dudleyz vs. Tazz+Spike Dudley(champs)
-Intercontinental Championship: William Regal vs. Edge(champ)
-Women's Championship: Jazz vs. Trish(champ) w/ Jackie as special referee

-Street Fight: Vince McMahon vs. Ric Flair
-Undisputed WWF Championship: The Rock vs. Chris Jericho(champ)
-Royal Rumble: the winner goes on to WrestleMania 18 to fight in the main event for the Undisputed Championship.

Summary: Decent as Rumble's Go
Review: The 2002 Royal Rumble was a pretty good PPV, but nothing to write home about. There was only one match that's really good, and that would be Jericho vs. The Rock.

Tazz and Spike vs. The Dudleyz- ** Very average match. Why are all the other reviewers praising this. Decent, but nothing special.

Edge vs. William Regal- ** Ugh. These two have no chemistry. In fact... I don't think William Regal has good chemistry with anyone. Honestly, this is simply a boring match with a few high spots and a [bad] ending.

Trish vs. Jazz- ** A good women's match. Trish has really improved, and this was an enjoyable affair.

Vince vs. Flair- * Horrible match. Vince just kicked the [heck] out of Flair with non wrestling moves for fifteen minutes before Flair locked Vince in the figure four. Trust me- You'll be fast forwarding through this one.

The Rock vs. Jericho- **** Great match- Exciting, well done, and very entertaining. Not quite on par with their amazing match at No Mercy, but better than their one at Vengeance. Very cool table spot.

Royal Rumble- *** Extremely predictable, but nontheless enjoyable. Fun to watch, and exciting to watch live, but once its all over, not very re-watchable. GO Triple H!

Well there you have it- a decent PPV to kick off 2002, but nothing amazing- only worth owning if you're a collector.

Summary: One of the "Greatest Rumble Matches" ever witnessed!!
Review: The 2002 Royal Rumble was Phenomenal!! Every WWE Superstar gave it their greatest to win the Rumble Match! I loved all of the matches (except women's) and even the Rumble Match itself!! I thought it was very funny when The Undertaker got eliminated by Maven! Man, he was NOT happy about it afterwards! Every match was great! I most definately recommend this to all!

Summary: Triple h returns to Pay Per View
Review: The 2002 Royal Rumble was real exciting considering the fact that Triple H has returned to Pay Per View after being out for 8 months. There was good and okay matches. What was really good about this ppv was that there was no ordinary match. Either there was a special kind of match or a title was on the line. Here are all the matches and how they were....
#1 WWE Tag Team Championship: Tazz and Spike Dudley vs Dudley Boyz- Good tag team title match. It was great for Spike because it was his first ppv where he defended a title and all though out of all 4 wrestlers he was the shrimp, but he put 110% in this match.
#2 WWE Intercontinental Championship: Edge vs William Regal- an Okay. Was exciting because a month before, Edge broke Regal's nose and everybody was proboly wondering what Regal had instore for Edge. The only thing wrong was the end of the match. It was dissapointing but the only way to know why is if you get this.
#3 WWE Women's Championship: Trish Stratus vs Jazz-It was alright, the only thing that led to this match was Jazz winning a #1 contender spot for the title ... What made the match exciting was that Jaqueline became a special guest ref and hated Jazz.
#4 Street Fight: Vince McMahon vs Ric Flair- This owner vs owner match was really good, considering the fact of the men's age. Lots of brutality was in this match.
#5 WWE Undisputed Championship: Chris Jericho (Y2J)vs The Rock- Ever since Jericho costed him and the rock a tag team match back in October against Shane McMahon & RVD, these have 2 been really going at it. This was real good, there was little interfearence, lots of move countering, lot of suete moves happened such as the Rock rock-botttming Y2J from announce table to another!
#6 Main Event: The Royal Rumble, consisted of 30 men:
1. Rikishi 2. Goldust 3. Bossman 4. Bradshaw 5. Lance Storm 6. Al Snow 7. Billy Gunn 8. The Undetaker 9. Matt Hardy (with Lita)10. Jeff Hardy 11. Maven 12. Scotty 2 Hotty 13. Christian 14. DDP 15. Chuck 16. The Godfather 17. Albert 18. Perry Saturn 19. Steve Austin 20. Val Venis 21. Test 22. HHH 23. The Hurricane 24. Farooq 25. Mr. Perfect 26. Kurt Angle 27. Big Show 28. Kane 29. RVD 30. Booker T
This was one of the most excing ppv's ever. Besides Triple H, there were other returns like Goldust, Mr. Perfect, Val Venis, and Godfather. There was a lot of times where ot seemed some guys were gonna be eliminated but they managed not to. The 2 most exciting things I thought were the best was Maven, the tough Enough champion, kicking Taker from behind and eliminating and Kane tossing big Show over the top rope.

Overall this ppv is good to watch. I gave 4 stars because there are some disapointments but it was still good. Buy this.

Summary: Good.... but slightly changed...
Review: The PPV itself is good!
The matches are all worthwhile. Rock vs Jericho is exciting and well done. I frown at Vince vs Flair because they're both so old now. The tag team match was entertaining to say the least. The Royal Rumble itself was great! The return of Triple H to PPV and Maven beating the Undertaker were great spots. However, on the DVD (i have not seen the VHS so I can't confirm), several of the music entrances are changed!! This is the PPV where Tazz's new song debuted, but the DVD plays his old song instead. Undertaker's "Rollin'" song is replaced with a very odd sounding synthesizer beat, Edge's new Rob Zombie song is replaced with the old "You think you know me" song, RVD's new "One of a Kind" is replaced with his old song, and the Royal Rumble theme for this year (Kid Rock's "Cocky") is replaced with a poor substitute synthesizer song. Shame! But besides those small disappointments, this DVD and PPV were all worthwhile!!!

Plus, as an extra on DVD only, you get the return of Triple H to Raw on Jan. 7! That alone may be worth the price of this DVD to some people!

Summary: would have been a 1 but for the rumble match
Review: theres a so so tag match with the dudleys vs taz and spike.this was when the wwe earned the nickname"the place where ecw legends go to die".since vince is only interested in destroying the big names and not putting them in for a real shot,a lot of them lose thier spirits.like taz who went from being the most feared man in ecw to a color commentater, little spike dudley who was the ultimate human cannon fodder was reduced to a joke.the dudleys are at least somewhat competitive.rdge and regal sucked.2 chicks is always nice!a st fight between ric flair and vinnie mac was a nice chance.then the rock-whose a much better actor and comedian than a wrestler went up against y2j.it was your typical-thrown together halphazardly main event.the rumble rocked as always!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: 30 men

Summary: WHAT A RUMBLE MATCH!
Review: This is only worth buying for the actual rumble match as the rest of the card was...well i dont know because it made me fall asleep! vince v flair, chyna v erm...whoever and jericho v rock plus the tag team match with those damn dudleys...these were the matches which you wont wanna watch again. BUT. The rumble match was the best i've ever seen. HHH made a grand ebtrance after austin had cleared house, RVD and Booker T made short but entertaining appearrances and the other major stars were also involved. Is this video worth buying just for the rumble match? probably...just.
