Review: The first interpromotional ppv ever and boy was it a let down. The card had potential but the matches just didn't live up to standard. Review: WCW/ECW vs. WWF in the Inaugual Brawl. This ppv is like most of the WWF's ppv this year except for the greatest ppv WMX7, in that there were descent matches that could of been elevated to good or even great matches if only some of them were given more time to develop. The best match of the night was RVD vs. Jeff Hardy(Hardcore champion) for the hardcore championship. This match lasted about 15 minutes which to me could have been even better if it had gone 25-30 minutes:it just started to get interesting when they ended it. The wwf gave inVasion 10 matches, two matches were added on Sunday night Heat; and that could be the reason that the undercard matches were only solid and descent matches, except for The Bra and Panties Tag Team Match with Lita/Trish vs. Torrie Wilson/Stacy Keibler: just kidding. As for the main event, the inaugual brawl featuring Booker T, Rhyno, DDP, The Dudleyz vs. Stone Cold,Kurt Angle,Y2J,The UnderTaker,and Kane: to me this match lived up to my expectations except I thought it would be someone else betraying the wwf. This ppv. had its share of flaws but for an optimist like myself I see it as one of the best, because it pushed the younger talent. Wrestlers like Jeff Hardy,Tajiri,Tazz,Edge & Christian,Billy Kidman,and the team of Chuck Palumbo and Sean O'Haire. So I recommend this to all who are interested in the first interpromotional ppv, featuring ecw, wcw and the wwf.

Summary: The Event The World Has Been Waiting For
Review: The WWF Pay Per Views are all the same every year but this year that is going to change. The July pay per view was originnaly going to be called WWF Fully Loaded but thanks to WCW Stars Attacking WWF Stars it is going to be Called Invasion WWF VS WCW. That was the plan until two weeks ago on WWF Raw Is War. During a match on WWF Raw Chris Jericho and Kane were about to Defeate Lance Storm and Mike Awesome Of WCW until Rob Van Dam of Extreme Championship wrestling came down and beat the heck out of chris jericho and kane until we all thought WWF Stars Tazz, Raven, Rhyno and Justin Credible were going to help Jericho and Kane until they beat them till they Couldint Stand Up anymore. Just to name a few matches like the first ever Tag Team Bra And Panties Match Between WWF's Lita and Trish Stratus and WCW's Stacy Kiebler and Torrie Wilson, WWF Reffre Earl Hebner VS WCW Reffre Nick Packtrick and The Main Event Team WWF Witch Contains '' The Old'' Stone Cold Steve Austin, Undertaker, Kane, Chris Jericho, and Kurt Angle, Against Team ECW/WCW's Diamond Dallas Page, Booker T, Rhyno, and the Dudley Boys. Now that ECW And WCW are on the same page, does the WWF stand a chance? We will just have to find out at Invasion.

Summary: July PPV
Review: After WrestleMania and Backlash everything was fine with WCW and WWF. The two owners, Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon were doing great but then WCW superstars started attacking WWF superstars. Another time, the WWF attacked WCW. The two owners agreed that it would be WWF vs. WCW at the next PPV. And the next PPV was WWF Fully Loaded but the owners didn't agree and said that the next PPV wouldn't be WWF Fully Loaded, it would be WWF and WCW Invasion! Matches still aren't announced but they probably going to be very interesting. This may actually beat WrestleMania as best PPV of 2001.

Summary: The PPV when everything went to hell!
Review: It was one of the most unusual and unexpected ppvs ever. It seemed to go back and forth through time. One match that made no sense to me was the rikishi-yokuzuna match where he came back from the grave to ask if he has any gum. Made no freakin sense! And don't even get me started about the ownen hart-andre the giant match. Totaly unbinspired. Then to top it all off, kane came out w/ a flame thrower and torched the place to hell! "Worst ppv ever!" Invasion was 10 times better!

Review: From top to bottom it's a great pay per view. See Lita hitting high flying moves on the big Albert or see Rikishi jump off the cage or Jericho and Triple H battling in a brutal and bloody Last Man Standing matchup this pay per view delivers folks. A MUST

Review: InVasion 2001 - WWE Vs. WCW/ECW Alliance To save writing it loads of times, the WWE side are first, folllowed by Alliance side for each match. Edge & Christian V Mike Awesome and Lance Storm
This was a pretty good opening bout and the crowd were into it. 7/10 APA V Chuck Palumbo and Sean O'Haire
This was Tag champs V Tag champs with no titles on the line. It was an ok match, but nothing special at all. Not as good as the previous match. 5/10 Earl Hebner V Nick Patrick - Guest Ref: Mick foley
Ref V Ref? Come on WWE, this is crap! It was pretty funny to watch though and the crowd were getting into it. 4/10 X-Pac V Kidman
This was another champ V champ match, but it was weird because no one liked X-Pac, even though he was on team WWE. People actually preferred Kidman, cheering for him instead! However, the actual wrestling was great, with some brilliant ariel moves. 7/10 William Regal V Raven
Regal was actually quite cool as a face, but the match was nothing special. Got quite boring. 5/10 Big Show, Billy Gunn and Albert V Shawn Stasiak, Kanyon and Hugh Morrus
This was an alright match. After the match ends Show, Gunn and Albert beat up Stasiak, Kanyon and Morrus. 6/10 Tajiri V Tazz
A decent enough match, but nothing special happened in it. 6/10 Hardcore Title - Jeff Hardy V Rob Van Dam
The only title match of the show. I don't know why everyone thought this was so good really. It was good, but it could have been better. They use a chair and the title, and Jeff takes a cool bump of the ladder. 2nd best match of the night. 8/10 Bra and Panties Match - Trish and Lita V Torrie and Stacy
For a womens match this was actually really good. The match type maybe stupid, but it was cool. 7/10 The Inaugural Brawl - Team WWE V Team WCW/ECW Alliance

Although this could have been better, the action was great and very exciting, and it was the best match of the night. The crowd are crazy, especially for Austin. By the end of the match, the whole thing has gone wild, with Taker chasing DDP into the crowd. When Austin boots Angle the crowd go absolutley mental. At the end Austin joins the Alliance in one hell of a shocker! 8/10 Overall
The main event and hardcore title matches were good, and some other matches were decent, but overall the PPV didn't live up to expectations. Not enough WCW/ECW wrestlers were involved - they should have had Hogan, Flair, Bret Hart, Goldberg and loads more. This is only worth buying for it's historic value.

WELL, AT LEAST IT DID HAVE A SHOCKING ENDING. RATING; 3/5 AND SO BEGAN A LITTLE SERIES OF BORING WWE PPV'S THAT FEATURED WCW. THE ONLY GOOD WWE PPV THAT HAD WCW ON IT WAS SURVIVOR SERIES 2001. THIS IS ONE TIME IN WRESTLING THAT I WOULD LOVE TO FORGET.

Summary: The slow death of wrestling begins here
Review: When WCW and ECW were purchased by WWE, wrestling looked like it was about to be better then ever. The problem was Vince signed 10% of WCW, all of them were mid carders. They did sign about 45% of ECW, although it was most of the good stars. A big problem was Vince misused all ECW and WCW talent he got. RVD should of been a champion by now, but seems to get looked over. A trade from Raw to Smackdown for Triple H should tell you how much they care about him. Rhyno, a excellent superstar, is just hanging around for no reason. It is really sad how Vince knows he has no competetion so he doesnt have to worry about the crappy PPV's he puts out now. Its funny because Raw is like a PPV every week, and paying for PPV's is like watching Raw. Smackdown has been considerably worse but they have far better talent then Raw (Cena, RVD, Mistero Jr, Guerrero, Undertaker, Booker T to name a few) and even Big Show got better when he was traded to Smackdown. Vince needs to close his company for a couple months and re think out new ways to revive the dying company. 2005 is going be WWE's worse year. Royal Rumble generated no exictement and Wrestlemaina 21 has no matchs announced and its 6 weeks away! Its going be the most rushed Wrestlemaina ever.
