Summary: WM XIX - 2003's Best, But Not One of WM's Best
Review: I was really impressed with this year's Wrestlemania effort. There were plenty of memorable moments and matches that truly brought out the magic in what has been deemed the greatest sports spectacular of all time. However, there were some things that just didn't do it for me. For one, when you have Hulk Hogan and Vince McMahon (two senior non-full time wrestlers) getting the honor of appearing on the prized DVD cover, you know something is wrong. Why in the world did the two oldest people on the card receive the most hype for what could have been the best Wrestlemania of all time? On one hand though, their street fight was entertaining and a pleasant surprise. But on the other, why allot 25 minutes to the street fight and less than 10 minutes to the Smackdown Tag Team Championship, a match complete with arguably the best athletes in the wrestling world right now? So instead, the matches which should have been hyped the most (like Lesnar-Angle, Rock-Austin, and Michaels-Jericho among others) were ultimately overshadowed by the ridiculous overhype of two people whom the majority of fans don't care about anymore. It would be a shame if this Wrestlemania, headlined by McMahon and Hogan, went down as the greatest of all time.

On the upside, it was a very solid card. I thought Michaels and Jericho put on a classic. I thought Rock and Austin had a very satisfying match. And I thought Lesnar and Angle put on a clinic and showed a lot of guts to finish their match in the shape both of them were in. Plus, the atmosphere of Safeco Field made the event that much better. If you give the Hardy-Mysterio match and the Tag Team Championship more time, you have yourself a five star Wrestlemania in my book. I really much rather had seen Booker T snatch the Heavyweight Championship from Triple H, but I should know better since Triple H just doesn't lose anymore. Although there are some setbacks, don't miss Wrestlemania XIX because it may have been the last WM matches for Undertaker, Austin, Rock, Michaels, Vince, and Hogan. At least rent it if you don't buy it.

Summary: The second best Wrestlemania ever!
Review: From top to bottom, the WWE really exceeded all expectations and delivered a knockout Mania at Safeco Field. The card is arguably the best ever assembled. Every wrestler gave a solid performance and the crowd was extremely amped. Highlights of the night are Hogan vs McMahon, Austin vs The Rock, and Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho, which was in my opinion the match that stole the show and one of the best wrestling matches I have ever seen. If you don't understand when people talk about telling the story in the ring, watch this match. The wrestling was flawless and the momentum swings take the crowd on an emotional roller coaster. Wait until you see who drops in the the Hogan/McMahon match too. Unforgetable.

The reason I say it's the SECOND best Mania ever is because it still didn't have the top to bottom bang of Wrestlemania X-Seven. That's not a knock either, WM17 will likely never be topped.

Things that dropped it below 17 was as follows:

Slightly lackluster main event - Brock vs Angle has a great build-up, solid wrestling, and was a match the fans have wanted for some time, but with Angle going in with a broken neck, you knew already who was going to win and so did the crowd, so the arena was pretty quiet most of the match. Highlight is Brock's attempt at a Shooting Star Press. Still a solid match though. A technical match lover's dream.

Miller Light Cat Fight Girls - A total waste of time and an embarrassment to Wrestlemania's legacy. With the time these skanks got on camera, valuable minutes could have been added to some of the undercard matches, especially the tag team championship match. Everytime they open their mouths you want to punch your TV and throw up. I hate them so much.

Rock vs Austin - I know, I know, I said it was a highlight and it was, but this match only had a month of build-up so the emotion was not as high for the match, and secondly, it didn't match their stunning performance at WM17. It was still a very dramatic match. I mean, it's Rock/Austin. Rocky really carried the match.

So there, without spoiling everything there is my review. My advice, DO BUY this DVD. It is an EXCELLENT Mania. The card was great, there were 5 main event quality matches, and the wrestling was soild. No sloppy wrestling. The athleticism of this Mania in unparalleled. In this case, second best is not bad at all and a great compliment! A must for your collection.

Summary: One of the best
Review: This is one of the best. the best was Wrestlemania X7 but this easily comes 2nd or 3rd.

1) Cruiserweight Championship
Matt Hardy vs Rey Mysterio

Great match, great opener, too bad it couldn't have been a little longer ****

2) Undertaker vs A-Train & Big Show

Nathan Jones was meant to be with Taker but he ... and it wa a good idea they took him out. Not great but OK ***

3) Womens Championship
Victoria vs Jazz vs Trish Stratus

Above average womens match, nothing special **1/2

4) WWE Tag Team Championships
Team Angle vs Rhyno & Chris Benoit vs Los Guerreros

Pretty good match with lots of action, good tag team match ***1/2

5) Chris Jericho Vs Shawn Michaels

Show stealer without a doubt, just by looking at the two names you know it's gonna be a classic. Hey WWE take the title off the Lame and give it to Jericho *****

6) World Heavyweight Championship
Triple H vs Booker T

Quite boring match, Booker gets.... again out of a push thanks to Mr. Politics ***

7) 20 Years in the making
Hulk Hogan vs Vince McMahon

Looking at this match you'd think it would ... what with two men 50 and over fighting but it was a great match. It had a return of a legend and a hilarious facial expression from Vince. Surprisingly good ****

8) The Rock vs Stone Cold Steve Austin

Rock is finally a heel again, this was not as good as their past two encounters but still good. ****

9) WWE Championship
Kurt Angle vs Brock Lesnar

Good match, too bad the crows weren't into it. Nice mat wrestling contest with a huge botched spot from Lesnar but that didn't ruin the match ****

Summary: The second BEST WM ever!!!
Review: The first being Wmx7 (my opinion) but this was a dream come true. The card on paper was blinding but the execution was amazing. anyways here's my opinions.

Ashanti sings American national anthem.

Wrestlemania XIX intro video. Beautiful, better than last years.

WWE Cruiserweight title: Rey vs. Mattitude V1 (c) w/ Moore-on - Disappointing along with Rey's costume and mask, but the ending should have been the other way! ***1/2

Limp Bizkit's Rollin' to introduce the Taker!

Taker & Nathan Jones vs A-Train and Big Show - Nathan Jones does not deserve being here!!! Why did they take off Kane,RVD, the Dudleyz, the Hurricane and others and put him instead? Anyways Taker does a great job of handling both and the streak is 11-0. ***1/2

WWE women's title match - Jazz vs Victoria(c)vs Trish - Wow, the best women's match i've ever seen! *****

WWE Tag titles - Rhyno , Benoit vs Team Angle vs Los Guerreros - like a Smackdown! match ***

HBK vs. Y2J - My all time two favorites in a match I personally thought I would never see. It was not the show stealer but I enjoyed it. *****

Miller Catfight girls ft. Stacy,Torrie and Coach - ***

Limp Bizkit sings the WMXIX theme.

World Title - HHH w/ Flair vs Booker T - Long ,could have been better weird ending. **1/2

Summary: Arguably The Best Ever - but with a couple of drawbacks.
Review: I would rate Wrestlemania XIX as arguably the best Wrestlemania ever. The WWE Superstars gave everything they had in every match - especially in the triple-threat women's title match - and overall fan enthusiasm at the SAFECO field arena in Seattle, Washington was very high. Other noteworthy matches were the Hogan-McMahon streetfight, Angle vs. Lesnar, and The Rock vs. Austin (I was glad to see "the People's Champion" - with three devasting Rock Bottom slams - finally score a Wrestlemania pinfall win over "the Rattlesnake").

There are two reasons, however, why I'm only giving Wrestlemania XIX a four- as opposed to a five-star rating: 1) the four-woman "catfight" was a little silly (plus, I didn't need to see the Coach in his Fruit-o'-the-Looms), though I'm sure others enjoyed it; and 2) I really felt that Booker T should've won the World Heavyweight Title from Triple H. "The Game," the great althelete that he is, has held that belt far too long; meanwhile, Booker T has seriously paid his dues since coming to the WWE in 2001 and, in my opinion, REALLY deserved it, as well as a win at "the Granddaddy of 'em all." I sincerely hope that this isn't a bad omen of things to come as far as Booker T's major title prospects in the WWE are concerned.

Overall, Vince McMahon outdid himself this year.

Summary: The Greatest WrestleMaina event ever created!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Probally the Best Mania of all time. 1) Cuserweight Championship Matt Hardy Vs Rey Myserio a good match but too short if you ask me** 1/4 2)Undertaker Vs Big Show & A-Train was a decent match but would of been better if Nathan Jones was acually teaming with Taker ** 3/4 3)Victoria vs Trish vs Jazz was the best woman match since Trish vs Victoria at Survivor Series **** 4)Team Angle Vs Los Guerreros Vs Chirs Benoit & Rhyno could of been a classic if they were more time *** 3/4 5)Shawn Michaels Vs Chris Jericho is simply put one of the greatest wrestling matches I've ever seen and Clearly a Match of the Canadate ***** 6)Triple H Vs Booker T could of been better ***,and I think Booker should of won and at least drop the belt to Triple H on raw where he got his rematch 7)Hulk Hogan Vs Vince Mcmahon I knew this match was gonna be good but it was Awesome **** 3/4 8)Rock Vs Stonecold was good but their match up at WrestleMaina X-7 was better **** 9)Brock Lesnar Vs Kurt Angle was another match of the year canadate this was off the charts it was action packed the minute they stared wrestling ***** Overall this was an amazing PPV and is no doubt the greatest WrestleMaina event yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Must Have Wrestlemania
Review: Great Wrestlemania highlighted by some great matches, including Hogan vs. McMahon, Brock vs. Kurt Angle, and HBK vs. Y2J, which stole the show. Michaels and Jericho truly put on a show. Several memorable moments, from the two trying to better each other by springing to their legs, from Michaels lifting his back to release Jericho, who had him in a reverse pin, to Jericho leveling Michaels with his own Sweet Chin Music. If you don't feel you heart beat just a little faster by the time Michaels gets out of the Walls of Jericho for a third time, check your pulse.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great Wrestlemania
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this pay per view. Just when I think the WWE is losing its fire, they come back with a strong event like this. Some of the better matches include Shawn Michaels and Y2J in probably the match of the night. Michaels never ceases to amaze me, and neither does Jericho. This was a classic well paced matchup. I thought the street fight between McMahon and Hogan was well done even when these two are over 50 years old. Those McMahons can take some bumps! Rock and Austin put on a good match and Lesnar and Angle have a great WWE Title bout. I'm astonished by how well Angle performed with a broken neck. Watch what Lesnar does at the end of the match, you'll be shocked! As for the catfight, it was just offensive. But the event overall ranks up there with the better Wrestlemanias because of the good wrestling quality. Storyline wise, nothing really happened. But other than that, I recommend seeing this.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Better than last years
Review: Wrestlemania XIX was good but not that good but at least it was better than last years which bored the hell out of me, we start with

Rey Mysterio vs. Matt Hardy (Cruiserweight Title)
Not a good first match at all it was slow, sloppy and boring. Matt Hardy being the champ is not a good thing at all he doesn't stand for what a cruiser weight should be. What could have been a great debut for Mysterio turned out to be sad *1/2

A-Train & Big Show vs. Undertaker
Its stupid to see taker kick both A-Train and Big Shows [rear I mean come on a bit of realism never hurt anybody. It just shows how big takers ego is that he wont even sell to these to **1/2

Trish vs. Victoria vs Jazz (Womens Title)
Not that bad for these three **1/2

Team Angle vs. Rhyno & Benoit vs. Los Guerreros (Tag Titles)
Huge disappointment what could have been a classic turned out to be to short. It was pretty much like a short version of there matches on Smackdown ***

Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho

Great match with some ok wrestling to start out with had some nice spots but it was nothing mind blowing the only downside to the match was that it got a bit slow at times ****

Triple H vs. Booker T (World Heavyweight Title)
A match that never had classic written on it but for these to it was ok, thinking about it if the only good moment was when booker did his Houston hang over its pretty sad **

McMahon VS Hogan
Better than I thought it was gonna be, never thought I'd see Vince jump of a ladder through the announcers table but this is the WWE now all we need to see is Hogan take a bump higher than 5 feet in the air now that would be hardcore HA HA HA **

Stone Cold VS The Rock
Not as good as there other to matches probably because it had no stipulations in it but it was still enjoyable **

Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle
Now the match that I've been waiting for all night has arrived it had it all mat wrestling, technical wrestling, intensity, and high flying OUCH!. In my opinion the greatest main event off all time ***** If you don't like this match then you have no idea.
