Summary: The Best Pre Movie To Date
Review: After the slight disappointment of "Prefontaine", this movie came through as a "can't miss" for any fan of running, or Steve Prefontaine. There are some obvious technical errors in the running scenes, and some of the historic references are incorrect, but overall, this is an incredibly enjoyable film to watch. It does an excellent job of capturing the pride and determination of arguably the greatest distance runner ever to grow up on American soil, and the only American runner to capture the hearts of his country.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very Accurate!!
Review: I have done a lot of personal study on the life and times of Steve Prefontaine and this movie hits it right on the nose.

"To give anything less than your best is to sacrifise the gift" -Steve Prefontaine-

Billy Crudop nailed this quote, the movie was well researched and grabbed your attention. Go PRE!

Summary: I Amazed by his talent for running!
Review: I am amazed by his talent for running. I mean his times for each event were powerful. I made a goal to try to become faster like him. HE is my Idol. I am a runner. Every runner should see this movie!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A must see for runners
Review: This movie will be an inspiration to all runners and even those who aren't. I watched the movie and must say that it is much much better than the original "Pre" movie. That movie was a disgrace in itself. Without limits gives vivid details of an american hero known as Steve Prefontaine. If you are a runner who is having a hard time finding motivation, this movie is indeed a "must see"!

Summary: Without Limits...
Review: This was a very well done movie, much better than the shabby "Prefontaine" (which I own, and will still watch, because I am a major fan...). This movie, from what I have read, is much more fact based than "Prefontaine". "Prefontaine" was under the direct control of Pre's family (did you notice he had a Coke in his hand at the final party?) from what I have read, which explains the Coca Cola. All his friends knew he had been drinking, and one of his good friends wrote "Without Limits". I really believe this is a more fact based account of what happened, but then, I was not around, so I can not be sure. I just know that it was much more believable than "Prefontaine". One thing I did not like, was the mixing of races. They combined the stories of a couple of races, which, in my opinion, detracted from Pre's story, but...

Summary: A Great Movie
Review: This movie showed correctly things that the other Pre movie did not. This is one of my all time favorites. Everything (for the most part) was filmed in Track Town, USA also known as Eugene, Oregon. Hayward Field, the McKenzie River, etc. Everyone should see this movie about this great athlete.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good movie, gets boring towards the end
Review: I enjoyed this movie. Steve Prefontaine is my hero. My track team watched this movie in our hotel room at the Simplot Games. It could have lost the sexual content (that would have boosted my rating.) The race footage was excellent. Billy Crudup and Donald Sutherland are absolutely fantastic. This movie is very clever and is a must have for any Prefontaine fan.

Summary: PHAT movie
Review: This is my favorite movie of all time. Pre is such a pimp. Without Limits was, in my opinion, similar in style to Days of Thunder. WATCH THIS MOVIE!

Summary: It keeps me goin
Review: I was a slacker my freshman year and my sophmore year and when i saw PREFONTAINE i went out the summer before my junior year and ran about 500 miles to get ready for cross country..Prefontaine inspired me to go out and do the best i could because you only get one chance at this thing and you have to do the best you can. Watching WITHOUT LIMITS filled me with imspiration to do what PRE never got to do.this movie is a must see if your a runner. It is in the top 10 movies i have ever seen.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Inspirational movie but different from the first movie
Review: I liked this movie better than the first one but there were some subtle differences between the two that I wonder if everyone noticed. It seemed to me that the races were not the same where he took the "Stop Pre" t-shirt from the crowd. Also the second movie made "front running" a predominant issue but the first movie didn't even mention it. The olympic race footage was better in the second movie. It seemed strange to me that pre's primary girlfriend was different in each movie.
