Review: Compared to another Signing dvd this one did not keep my child's attention. I kinda made me feel weird when the signer adults never even looked forward into the camera. I would not suggest getting this dvd at all....I would suggest another company...Signing Time.

Review: For all those skeptics out there who think that a child cannot communicate VERY EARLY... use this. My daughter Mia is 16 months and she hears quite well, but while I was pregnant I did alot of research on the subject of sign language for babies. My husband was not keen on the idea at all. After using simple words in sign during our day for nine months, my daughter asked for help one morning while giving her a change. I almost fell on the floor! In the seven months since... with use of this video, Mia signs 45 words and speaks 20 words and phrases. This video pushes the signing, but in addition enforces Exact English. My husband has apologized many times over (always when she is signing DADDY or I LOVE YOU) Please I cannot say it enough... don't push your child to sign, just show them and trust me.... YOU WILL HAVE A BRIGHTER, SMARTER, AND LESS FRUSTRATED CHILD!! BUY THIS TODAY.

Review: GWAEA brought this video out for us to watch with our (almost) 3 year old son, who has a speech delay. Our son really enjoys this video and has learned several of the signs! It has helped us to learn basic sign language and has given him a way to communicate with us and others.

Summary: An absolutely wonderful investment
Review: I purchased this video after doing some research on how beneficial sign language can be for hearing babies. When Kaleb turned 6 months I decided to buy two. This video has basically taken the place of the baby einstein videos he loved so much. Although he still enjoys those The Talking Hands video is watched 2-3 times a day. He becomes absolutely enthralled as he watches the kids and adults make the signs and act out the signs. I truly enjoy the fact the video is so diverse and show children of different ethnicities and those with disabilities. I believe this will help familiarize him with how different people can be. He usually watches it while he's eating or when he gets a little cranky. It immediately gets and keeps his attention. Plus when guest come over they began using the signs with him and this reinforces the signing. Overall it was truly a great investment and we don't feel guilty about letting him watch it over and over since it is such an educational video.

Summary: Wow! My late talker can sign!
Review: My Daughter is a late talker, she is 26 months and has had a lot of frustration about communication. I had tried to teach her signs for eat and drink but she never picked them up. She was intensely interested in this video the first time we watched it. A couple days later I asked if she wanted something to eat and she signed AND SPOKE the word "eat" for the first time! Less than two weeks later and maybe 8 viewings and she now regularly signs and SAYS "please" and "more". She signs HELP, when she wants me to do something for her. (not to mention other fun signs) Today someone taught her a sign that wasn't in the vide0 and she immediately signed and SPOKE it! This video has done wonders for her communication! I can't thank "Talking Hands" enough!!

Review: My son has a birth defect that causes speech delay. He had been going to speech therapy for months in which they were trying to teach him sign so he could communicate in some way until he could speak. Months and month he didnt sign one word. We bought this video and after watching it once he never had an interested in it anymore. Then we bought the signing time video series,and the next day he was signing and is now up to 40 signs in 2 months and still going strong! He is so happy to be communicating and he thinks it is fun! I highly recommend the signing time videos they are much much better then talking hands and fun to watch over and over again , my husband and I love to watch them too and the music is awesome!!!!

Review: My son is autistic and non verbal. We were teaching him sign in therapy and this video was excellent help at home! It was a very big help for my husband and I as well. Much better than any books because you can actually see how to move your hands properly in this video. I loved this video! We still watch it even though my son knows all of the signs shown in it.

Review: My two year old twins LOVE this video... and so do I!! We've all learned so many signs... and we use them in our conversations. It is very educational, and entertaining. I highly recommend this video!!
