Summary: Great, but let down in some areas
Review: This PPV was great, and is the best PPV of 2000 to date. All the matches were excellent from the very beginning, and it also came from Madison Squrae Garden, the base of WWF since 1985. The Street Fight was awesome, and proved that HHH really does have a lot of guts when it comes to performing, the Royal Rumble itself was tense and exciting, and even the mid-card matches were excellent, the Table Match stands out in this category.

Howeevr, there were two things that let this PPV down badly. The first was the showing of Mae Young's puppies, what was the point? This completely ruined the atmosphere altogether. The second was the Tag Team Championship match between The Outlaws and The Acolytes. The atmosphere was here, and the match had some good spots, so I can't understand why it would end so quickly. Why not have a good, clean ending like all the other matches?

However, despite these minor flaws, this PPV is definitely a must buy.

Summary: BLOODY RUMBLE
Review: A Royal Rumble without Stone Cold but a great ppv. Great matches. Not alot. Amazing tables match between Dudleyz vs Hardyz. Y2J vs Hardcore vs Chyna. Kirk Angle vs Debuting Tazz. Mrs Rumble Swimsuit contest. The most intense WWF title match. Cactus Jack vs HHH. First time I saw it my mouth was awwing the whole match. Cactus Jack is a very intense wrestler but HHH proved that he is the WWF champ. And in the final match of the night was the Royal Rumble match itself. First Royal Rumble match I had ever seen. Very cool. In the end The Rock outsmarted The Big Slow and proved that he is THE GREAT ONE. If You Smelalalalala What The Rock Is Cookin!

Summary: Good
Review: I really liked this ppv. At first I thought it would be boring but it was good. The first match was loud-mouthed Kurt Angle vs. Tazz. It was a short match and boring. I could really care to see the debut of Tazz. Next was the Hardy Boys vs. The Dudley Boyz in a tag team table match which is really good. Then it was the Miss Royal Rumble swimsuit 2000 which has excessive nudity from Mae Young, YUCK! She was soo old and... Anyway the next match was Chris Jericho, Chyna and Hardcore Holly in an Intercontential Match. This is really good with surprises and twist. The next match which was The New Age Outlaws vs. Acolytes. Not only was this dumb but it was short. It didn't deserve to be on ppv. Then my favorite: Triple H and Cactus Jack in a Street Fight. Great match! It kept me wondering who was going to win! Then last wa the Royal Rumble which was predictable about who would win. Anyway a good ppv besides the three matches I despised. Enjoy!

Summary: Royal Rumble
Review: I saw Royal Rumble and it was pretty good. The Rock eliminated Big Show to be the No. 1 contender. Triple H defeated Cactus Jack to retain his title. Chris Jericho beat Chyna and Hardcore Holly to become the undisputed Intercontinental Champion. New Age Outlaws beat Acolytes. Tazz beat Kurt Angle. A moment I will never forget is when Mae Young took her top off. It was disgusting and hillarious. Mae Young won the Miss Rumble 2000 Swimsuit competition. Hardyz defeated The Dudleyz in a table match.

Summary: Another great show from the king of PPV
Review: The Royal Rumble 2000 dvd is a must have for anyone who likes pro wrestling (aka WWF). Rumble 2000 was most likely the best one yet. The event was fantastic and the swimsuit competition wasn't too bad either. There were plenty of memorable moments like Mae Young's puppies, all three members of Too Cool in the ring at once going against each other, and Road Dogg was pretty funny during the Rumble as well. The battle between HHH and Mankind (Mick Foley) was epic and one that is worth seeing again. Also this was where Tazz had his first match. Get this DVD now and have this awsome Royal Rumble foreeever.

Summary: KICKIN IT OFF WITH A BANG!
Review: Madison Square Garden is the WWF's home base, and whenever theyreturn to the arena for a show, they always try to put on an excellentone. So what better place to go for the first PPV of the new millennium than good old MSG? I'll tell you right now that Royal Rumble 2000 went beyond my expectations. It's the best PPV that WWF has put on in a long, LONG time, killing anything 1999 spewed out, as with most of 1998. It's a must-see for WWF fans everywhere.

Now here's how the story was going at this time: The McMahon-Helmsley Era is in total power, Vince having left in disgust of HHH and his daughter Stephanie the day after ARMAGEDDON. HHH captures the WWF title for the third time from the Big Slow on the first Raw of 2000 and is once again truly "The Game". As HHH and Steph swing their stroke around arrogantly, Mankind voices his displeasure and gets the crap kicked out of him. HHH books a match: The Rock vs. Mankind in a Pink Slip on a Pole match, where the loser would have to retire. Well, unsurprisingly, Foley loses. Fast forward to two weeks or so later - every WWF superstar unites and threatens to walk out on HHH and Steph if certain stipulations are not met, including reinstating Mick Foley. So Foley's back and the number one contender for the WWF title at Royal Rumble. On Smackdown, Foley says Mankind is in no condition to wrestle HHH in a Street Fight at Royal Rumble and therefore needs a replacement. Two words: BANG BANG! CACTUS JACK IS BACK!

As I said before, this PPV rocked the entire arena and the homes of anybody watching. I can't imagine a WWF missing out on this classic. First off, there's Kurt Angle vs. Tazz, who was only known to be a mystery opponent before the PPV. It was a decent match, and gave Tazz a good headstart. The Dudleys vs. Hardyz in a Table Match was hardcore and exciting, exposing some great talent and elevating both tag teams in the WWF. These teams can put on a hell of a show and much is expected from them in the future. The triple threat IC title match with co-champions Chris Jericho and Chyna and Hardcore Holly was decent, scoring Y2J another victory. The Bikini contest... um, I'll just stop now. The Outlaws and Acolytes fight was a quickie and didn't need the little promo preceding the match telling how the feud started if the whole thing was going to end in less than 6 minutes anyway.

Now the WWF Championship match: HHH had been my favorite wrestler for quite some time, and this match, the Street Fight, earned him some new respect from me and I think most WWF fans. HHH and Foley destroyed each other in this match, putting on one of the best main events ever. I think these two truly belong in the ring together. They know a thing or two about putting on a good show, and did NOT disappoint in this one. It had everything from barbed wire on a stick, to chair shots, to blood, to handcuffs, to thumbtacks (! ). And in the end, HHH comes out victorious (YEAH! )

The Rumble itself is good, Rikishi stealing a good amount of the show. It's nice to see Rikishi and Too Cool dance in the middle of the match. The Rock's pop is enormous and the crowd really gets into it as he dominates and wins the fight. The end is also a very good and controversial setup for the Raws and Smackdowns to come.

I suggest that if you're a WWF fan and have not seen this, get off your butt and watch it!

Summary: Bloody PPV but cool
Review: This was a cool ppv. The best part about the ppv was the Street Fight match for the WWF tittle with Cactus Jack vs Triple H, the cool part is when Cactus Jack brought out the barbed wire and started beating up on Triple H and he holds the barbed wire to Triple H forhead I thought that was just the best part. the table match was awsome to, I like the part when Jeff Hardy did the Sin Ton Bomb of the belcony on to Buh Buh and smashing the table, I thought that was an awsome match. As far as the Miss Rumble 2000 thingy i dont even wanna talk about it, Every thing went cool until Mae yonge came out ewwwwwwww sick! . But i think all matches were great! So this is a must see video for a big wrestling fan or if you just wanna buy it the go for it its really awsome (but not the mae yonge part you may wanna pass)

Summary: Mae Old is Dangerous
Review: One of the best Pay-per veiws I've seen in years! Forget Hell in the cell! The street fight was much better! If you don't want to have a heart attack, I suggest that when Mae Young's music plays, stop it and press fast-foward. It is not a pretty sight! Taz's debeut match was probably his best match. The other matches were okay. The Royal Rumble match starts out as boring but get's better once the bigger superstars come out. A must have for any WWF fan. It is worth the whole 40 bucks!
