Summary: Great Video about Mic Foley
Review: This video shows the true side of Mic Foley not Mankind, Dude Love or Cactus Jack it shows his funny side. It is a little graphic when it shows the street fight of Royal Rumble 2000. A great video of Mic Foley's mid 1999 and late 2000 career. It even shows his days as being the Commisoner. A must see for any Mic Foley fan who would like to see the real Mic Foley. Buy this video its worth the money.

Summary: Mick Foley is great, not good!!!
Review: This video is the most fun and entertaining video I have ever seen. They put in some things that are not for kids(the royal rumble street fight is pretty intense)but everything else is the best. I liked the al snow part at the ending where foley spits pop all over him and he freaks out. The WW(E) shold make a foley video about his whole WW(E) career and it should be at least three hours of foley!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Possibly the best personality tape of all time
Review: This is arguably the best compilation on a single wrestler that the WWF has ever done. It also actually stretches the muscles of the DVD format, something the WWF is not known for. If you own a DVD player, invest in the DVD as much dividends are abound.
The main program itself is quite fascinating. Mick Foley is probably the wrestler whom I hold the most respect for, and he has participated in perhaps more classic matches than any other current WWF star. A particular standout on this program is the epic Street fight between Triple H and Cactus Jack, easily one of the top three matches of 2000. His emotional retirement and hilarious turn as the WWF commissioner is also covered.
The DVD extras are exemplary on this as well. The five matches (four of them classics, one of them hilarious) are all worth your while, especially Mankind vs. Shawn Michaels (which Mick considers his all-time greatest match) and Dude Love vs. Stone Cold the particular standouts.
A must-have for the WWF fan.

Summary: AWESOME!!!!
Review: This in my opinion is my favoritest wrestling DVD i own and i own alot. Teh best part of it was the extras which were mick's fav matches in his wwf career.

1. Shawn Micheals vs. Mankind Mind Games 1996.
2. Stone cold vs. Mankind Raw is War 1996.
3. The Rock vs. Mankind in a empty arena match for Halftime Heat.
4. Dude Love vs. Stone Cold Over the Edge 1998.
5. Big Bossman vs. Al Snow Kennel from hell match unforgivem 1999.

Summary: Maybe the Last WWF-sanctioned Foley DVD-Get it while you can
Review: "Hard Knocks and Cheap Pops" chronicles the end of the Hardcore Legend's career as Mick Foley retired his 3 wrestling personas and transitioned to a 4th(and arguably his most popular): Commissioner Foley.

If you enjoyed Foley's book, "Have a Nice Day", you will probably enjoy this DVD, which is filled with Foley's offbeat humor. He seems to have an agenda (which apparently has lead to his leaving the WWF) and that is simply to keep the element of fun and good humor in wrestling. He obviously isn't opposed to blood and violence (as evidenced in his harcore match between Cactus Jack and HHH), but he seems to have taken some lessons learned in his years in the business to heart and has really become pro wrestling's unofficial goodwill embassador (yes, the Hardcore Legend is writing kids books, for goodness sake!).

The standouts of this DVD include the his final matches with HHH and the extras which show a match with each of Foley's 3 personas . Still, the DVD is not match-heavy, so I recommend snatching up "The 3 Faces of Foley" to suplement this DVD. There are also alot of hilarious vignettes with the Commish, plus candid interviews with Edge and Christian and HHH (Al Snow is suprisingly absent - maybe there still is some hard feelings between he and Foley).

A great DVD highly recommended!

Summary: FOLEY=RETIREMENT=FAT
Review: This DVD is hosted by the loveable Mick Foley who has become a big fatso, he looks terrible but hosts this hour chronicle of his final year in the ring very well. I just can't get over the fat thing, I mean a wife like that... Anyway the clips are good especially the Triple H battles with the trailers leading up to them being some of the best in recent memory (remember moppy). The DVD extras as always really put this over, HALFTIME HEAT between the Foley and Rock is finally released in its entirety. This is a match that even a non wrestling fan could like. My wife hates wrestling and she was amused by the classic heel the Rock use to be. The two Austin matches are very good but all these fail in comparison to the the classic contest of THE KENNEL IN THE CELL pitting the number one heel in the company for sure the Big Bossman against Al Snow, who is bent on revenge for having his dog fed to him for dinner. This match is so brutal that only the hardcore legend himself Mick Foley could stomach the action and has to be accompanied by Michael Cole to hold his barf bag. Worse yet there are blood thirsty german shepards held by trainers on short leashes whom would surely chew the two combatents to shreds, the crowd goes into a frenzy like never before therefore acclaiming it the match of the decade!!! Foley vs HBK is another great match from Mind Games, but is overshadowed on this DVD by the Kennel match , all around Awesome DVD.

Summary: Mic Foley on DVD the only way to watch...
Review: Mic Foley has to be one of the brightest of spots in all of the WWF's fantastic history. Very colorful onscreen as well as off. Foley has provided many fans with a lot of great and often funny memories of his personas in the squared circle.

This DVD is great. It shows a lot of highlights in Mic great career. It covers the early Mankind stuff, and shows Dude Love and the history and evolution of Cactus Jack. The DVD extras are what makes this great. There are matches that are very rare to find these days in good quality let alone the perfection of DVD. Some of the extras are The 1996 match VS. Shawn Michales, a pure classic. There is also a rare 1996 RAW match vs. Steve Austin which I thought was a great addition. It also has an incredible "Over the Edge" match from 1998 VS. Austin that has chairshots that need to be seen to be believed.

Mic also talks about his feuds with Triple H, and the classic comedy skits that involved Edge and Christian, and the events and decision to team up with The Rock to form The Rock N Sock Conncetion. This is a great collection for anyone that has ever appreciated what Mic Foley has done, not only for the sport of wrestling, but the effort he goes to give the fans their money's worth. Foley is one superstar that will never be forgotten and with this DVD, he'll live forever.

Summary: Good
Review: Overall pretty good not as good as Ultimate street brawls at streetbrawls.com Each and every one of the bonus matches are exelcent classic Foley matches. If you haven't seen the Halftime Heat match between Foley and Rock you should, it is purely genius. The Al Snow jokes flow like water in Hard Knocks, Cheap Pops and Foley and Kevin Kelly's commentating of the Big Bossman/ Al Snow "Kennel of Hell" match will have you rolling on the ground laughing. I think i almost broke a rib laughing so hard at the match. Anyways, this is a dvd that any wrestling fan can't like

Summary: Mick Foley does it again!!!
Review: This is a great DVD and a definite must have for Foley fans everywhere. It is a look into highlights from the end of his career as an active wrestler and his entire first run as WWF Commissioner. The only matches on the DVD in whole are the matches added on as special DVD features. The matches talked about within the actual video we are just shown highlights from. It is almost like Foley made part of his second autobiography, "Foley is Good", come to life. If you don't like to read you can watch this DVD. Personally I suggest both the DVD and the book. Have a nice day.
