Summary: Not bad but....
Review: I mind this wasn't a bad PPV at all, it sure have good matches.
But the only real good matches were (I'm going to rate them with *)TLC match (dudleyz vs hardyz, edge & christan) ***** simply awesome, lot's of tables, bubba ray took a really good bump there, i truly recommend this match also this match was better than the triangle ladder match in WM 2000. 2 out of 3 falls (Y2J vs The crippler Benoit) **** great technical match between this 2 great wrestlers the only bad thing about this match was the ending. Hardcore title match (Shane Mcmahon vs Steve Blackman)*** The match itself was kinda boring, but the ending is great. 3 way dance for the WWF Championship (The rock vs HHH vs Kut Angle) **** the match was good very good chemistry between these performers, one of the best rock matches. Well those are the good matches

Summary: WWF SummerSlam 2000 Review
Review: This was one of the best SummerSlams of all time! Every match on the card was either very good or spectacular. In my opinion, the best match of the night was the very first TLC match for the tag team championship. There were so many amazing moves during that match, I can't name them all. The main event was also a solid match with a failed Pedigree attempt on Kurt Angle onto a table. The sickest bump of the night was when Shane McMahon fell of the scaffolding and onto a table, then Steve Blackman's elbow drop off the scaffolding as well. Other than No Way Out, I feel that this was the best WWF pay-per-view of the year 2000. But if you like to watch really sick bumps, buy the 1998 King of the Ring where Mick Foley and The Undertaker put on one of the best matches of the year. SummerSlam is highly recommended, but buy it for less money at Hastings.

Review: SummerSlam 2000 was a great show. The first ever TLC match, Shane McMahon's fall, and a great 3-way main event. The whole card was probrably the best card made in the year 2000 and this is the best pay-per-veiw in the year 2000. Here is how the matches are rated, 10 being best, 1 being worst. Too Cool & Rikishi vs. RTC- 7/10- Great opener with alot of good spots and great action X-Pac vs. Roadogg-6/10- Good match but these two could have put on a better one Inercontinental Championship- Val Venis & Trish vs. Latino Heat & Chyna- 6/10- Solid match, worst on the card but it's a pretty good match so that's saying alot 2 out of 3 falls match- Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho- 7 1/2/10-People complain about its length but they shouldn't because the whole match is entertaining and it's just another Jericho vs. Benoit classic Hardcore Championship- Steve Blackmon vs. Shane McMahon- 7/10- The match part was decent, the T&A interference was stupid but the Shane McMahon fall makes up for it, decent match Tazz vs. Jerry Lawler- 7/10- decent match, the ending was great with J.R. breaking his candy jar in Tazz's face First ever long stink face match- Terri vs. the Kat- can't rate- it wasn't a real match, just time to show of the WWF Divas and man it was a great site to watch! TLC match for Tag Team titles- Dudleyz vs. Hardyz vs. Edge and Christian- 9/10- This is where TLC began, great match with alot of risk taking and alot of amazing spots. Matt's fall backwards was great Undertaker vs. Kane- 8/10- even though it wasn't a real match just a fight, it was great, the ending was the best when Kane gets UNMASKED! WWF Championship: Kurt Angle vs. HHH vs. The Rock- 8/10- The beggining was great and the whole match was solid, the ending was great. The match would have been alot better if Kurt had been in the match the whole time, but don't get me wrong, this was a great matchup. This was a great pay-pre-veiw and everyone rates it well and that's saying alot so I reccomend this to everyone. Buy it today! And get it on DVD because there are alot of extras including Sunday Night Heat, interveiws, and a recap show. Buy it today on DVD!

Summary: WWF SummerSlam 2000
Review: This show was much better than SummerSlam '99 IMO (although I am probably biased since I was sitting in the first row), and the WWF's last "awesome" pay-per-view before their dip in the fall of 2000. The opening match with Too Cool vs. RTC was a DUD, but what else can you expect out of the RTC and two once-great athletes who have succumbed to SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT. The I.C. title match also deserves an FF (Fast Forward), as do all Chyna matches. X-Pac vs. Road Dogg squared off in a BONG ON A POLE match...just kidding. The match was average, as Road Dogg ..., and X-Pac is too lazy these days to carry him. If you want to see a good match between the two, try KOTR '95. If you are a big fan of PUNCHING, check out 'Taker versus Kane...you won't see much else. The match never even officially happened (don't ask). Okay, that's the bad, now for the good. You have Benoit vs. Jericho in a GREAT old-school best 2/3 falls match, Shane and Blackman bumping off of the scaffolding (the match itself was about *****), and a TLC match which is just about the damndest garbage match you will ever see...an easy *****, even though I'm not a big fan of garbage wrestling. Kurt Angle got taken out of the mix early due to a legit injury, but HHH and Rock (or maybe I should just say HHH) ad lib it and manage to pull off a great ***-**** main event. Buy the tape.

Review: This is one of the best ppvs of the year. I'm not going to say the best because Backlash and Judgment Day were so great too. Opening match- Too Cool & Rikishi vs. Right to Censor- match gets *1/4, not because the match was bad, the match wasn't bad. Just because it was too short. 2nd was X-Pac vs. Road Dogg- *, these two could have done alot better. 3rd, Chyna & Eddie Guerrero vs. Trish Stratus & Val Venis for the intercontinental title- match wasn't bad it gets **. 4th was Tazz vs. Jerry "the king" Lawler- weak match, but cool ending. It gets *. 5th was Shane McMahon vs. Steve Blackman for the hardcore title- Shane is the man, and when you see the match you will be saying the same thing, ***. 6th, Chris Jericho vs. Chris Benoit, 2 out of 3 falls- two of my favorite wrestlers in a awesome match, ****3/4. 7th, TLC match for the tag team titles, Edge & Christian vs. Dudley Boyz vs. Hardy Boyz- this going to win MOTY for 2000, *****. 8th, Terri vs. The Kat in the first ever thong stink face match- they both have great bodies but the match is a DUD. 9th was Undertaker vs. Kane- this is match #18469 for these two. Can't rate this because its not really a match, Undertaker rips Kane's mask off and thats it. Thats just mean Undertaker! Main event- The Rock vs. Triple H vs. Kurt Angle for the WWF title- wild match, with a few surprises, ***3/4. This SummerSlam and SummerSlam 1998 were the best two. I can't decide which I like better, they were both great. If you have never seen them I suggest you buy them both.

Review: In the first half of 2000, the World Wrestling Federation was unquestionably better than it had ever been (then, of course, it all went to hell when the ill-fated XFL was deemed more important to focus on), and closing off their reign was, fittingly enough, the greatest wrestling pay-per-view of the year. In a full review of the matches...
The team of Rikishi and Too Cool took on those Right To Censor fellas in a decent opener... DXers X-Pac and the Road Dogg battled in an average bout... Eddy Guerrero teamed with his 'mamacita' Chyna to battle Trish Stratus and Val Venis in a fine Mixed Tag Team match... Jerry "The King" Lawler faced Tazz in a poor contest that only hammered another nail in the coffin of "The Human Jobbing Machine's" career... Fearless Hardcore champ Shane McMahon took on Steve Blackman in an entertaining brawl (featuring Shane-O's first 30-foot drop)... Chris Jericho locked horns with Chris Benoit in a terrific best-of-three falls match-up... W!orld Tag Team champions Edge & Christian battled The Hardy Boyz and The Dudley Boyz in a mind-blowing Tables, Ladders & Chairs match (which, despite being nothing more than a spot-fest, must also go down as the greatest match of 2000)... The Kat and Terri flaunted their flesh in a comedic 'Thong Stinkface' match... The Undertaker and Kane fought to a no-contest in a boring outing that everyone had seen a million times before... And finally, World Heavyweight champion The Rock took on Triple H and Kurt Angle a great Three-Way main event.
Even with crackers such as Backlash and Fully Loaded taking place in the same year, SummerSlam still blew 'em all away - Highly recommended by me (and many others), this easily gets the five-star seal of approval.

Review: All around a great pay per view, WWF Summerslam 2000 contains a great variety of matches which are all very exciting. The first ever TLC match highlights this event and was named the best match of the year 2000. Shane McMahon's fall from the Titantron was also another remarkable and thrillilng event and let's not forget the first ever Thong Stink-Face match! This is a must have DVD for all die-hard wrestling fans.

Review: I have seen just about every PPV and big show from the 1989-2000 and a few from earlier and I would have to say that this is one of the very best, if not the best that I have ever seen. The TLC match is my second favorite match ever, the main event is great, the Benoit-Jericho match rules, Steve Blackman-Shane McMahon is really entertaining, and I actually liked the Undertaker-Kane non-match because it did serve a purpose, only problem is WWF didn't follow up on it.
