Rating: Summary: An isomniac's best friend Review: The only reason to get this is for Wrestle War '89 with Flair and Ricky Steamboat. Unfortunately, that does not include the part at the end in which the Hardcore Legend Terry Funk gives Naitch a piledriver on a table. Otherwise this dvd sucks just as much as most of his matches. Is there anybody he has not held down? I would rather see the world title on Jericho and not the self-proclaimed "Game". He is an egotistical, glory hogging, no-job,no talent hack...He does not want to give anybody a push. Even Hogan and Flair can give somebody a push. If they can do it, anybody can do it(even HHH). Only get this if you have trouble getting to sleep. There is another Triple-H DVD coming out. Please if you have any sense you will avoid the new DVD as well. He cries and whines about being held down for 3 years because he said good-bye to Hall and Nash at MSG. Not true, they kept him down because he would not give up the spotlight if they gave it to him. Well, they were right, he is not giving up the spotlight. He slept his way to the top.
Rating: Summary: Info Review: The reason WWE and ShopZone.com have not endorsed nor advertised this DVD is because it has yet to be released...notice it says June 25th!
Rating: Summary: Great DVD for HHH fans and wrestling fans Review: This a well-done DVD. The only wrestling tape/DVDs I owe are this one, Ric Flair, and "Beyond the Mat." Triple H pays tribute to the ultimate "bad guy" who made the bad guys what they are today: Ric Flair. Coincidentally, I recorded the Steamboat-Flair match when it was originally aired. Although I don't collect merchandise (T-shirts, etc), I consider myself a Triple H fan not because of his persona on TV, but I knew there had to be a different side, and this DVD shows it - the hard-working man. A real man can admit certain elements can bring tears to his eyes. For some reason I felt got very emotional when his injury was covered on the DVD - his "never-give-up" attitude. I'm cerebral palsy, and I work out everyday. This DVD in a sense answered that question, "Why am I in here lifting weights?" In other words, I gave me some more motivation.
Rating: Summary: Triple H is the Game. Enough Said! Review: This DVD has everything you could ever want. It has Triple H's character background from WCW when he was Terra Ryzing all the way up to when he became the Game. The true fans see how much of an influence Ric Flair had on Triple H by watching Triple H's favorite match between Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat. You can see how Triple H has evolved as an entertainer and as a person over his years in the sports entertainment industry. You can see the transformation from watching his first match to the most recent on the DVD. This is for the true fans of sports entertainment. This DVD kicks ...! Enough said.
Rating: Summary: TIME TO PLAY THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: this dvd is by far the best video wwe has ever made! i am a huge hhh fan and i just got this dvd about a month ago and i loved it. he talks about pretty much his whole carrer from ecw to where he is today! This and the trish stratus dvd is the greatest! i think that hhh worked hard to make all of his progrees and hate it when fans disrespect him. he is one of the greatest wrestlers that ever lived not to mention HOT!!! this is a must have for all HHH fans!
Rating: Summary: Good Wrestler, OK DVD Review: This DVD is just not as good as the HHH VHS "It's Our Time". The time frame that it covers is just not that interesting. Also, the Flair-Steamboat bonus match is the same as the one on the Flair DVD set.
Now if they had included their Chi-Town Rumble match....
Rating: Summary: If you like being worked, this is the DVD for you Review: This DVD is less a history and more a snowjob. NOthing is said about HHH's manipulations of the backstage goings-on, his squashing of young talent and his need for the spotlight above even the health of the company.I would stay away from this unless you like being worked.
Rating: Summary: LET THE GAME BEGIN! Review: This DVD is pretty good. The DVD special features feature HHH Vs. Buck Zumhoff where HHH does a diamond cutter as his finisher! The TEST/ Steph marriage, Royal Rumble 2000 commentary, and Flair/ Steamboat from 1989 (HHH's Favorite match.) The actually DVD is fun to watch as it mainly covers his 2000 Heel run through Wrestlemania X8. There's also a easter egg when you push right on working heel as it shows why he uses the sludgehammer. Recomended for the special features.
Rating: Summary: Time to Play Tjhe Game Review: This DVD represents the time when Triple H was one of the greatest wrestlers in the business, you'll finds some incredible matches on this DVD, the Flair/Steamboat match is overated however. Watch this DVD to see that Paul Levesque once COULD wrestle, and was'nt interested in burying the WWE'S top talent and basically marrying Stephanie to OWN the company, also on this DVD is his now infamous SQUASH of Wrestling GOD Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania X-8
Rating: Summary: GREAT!!! Review: This DVD should be great. I'm going to buy it for the extras alone and the actual video part is an added bonus. Some of the extras are his first match in the WWF, (rumored) his favorite match which may be Ricky Steamboat v. Ric Flair, a never before aired MadTV sketch and more. If you are a fan of the WWF then you have to get this DVD in 9 days when it comes out.
