Summary: WWF WrestleMania X8
Review: Well here it is, the 18th WrestleMania. A night filled with solid perfrmances in just about every match. Here's a rundown of the matches and the rating out of 5 *****

Intercontinental Title: William Regal v.s. Rob Van Dam
This match was a pretty good one, but not really one of the best Intercontinental Title matches of all time. Sort of depressing that RVD didn't go all out for WrestleMania. Oh well. He takes a heck of a bump by Regal though. I don't know how he didn't hurt his neck after that. ***

European Title: Diamond Dallas Page v.s. Christian
This match would turn out to be DDP's last match on Pay-Per-View and the last European Title match at WrestleMania. Too bad it wasn't all that good. Still, a good performance was put on by both men. **3/4

Hardcore Title: Goldust v.s. Maven
Have you noticed that the first three titles on the line in this PPV are currently no longer around? This match is hard to call since it takes advantage of the 24:7 rule all throughout the night. A high point in the Hardcore Title madness is the hilarious Hurricane and Molly winning the Hardcore Title(!) **3/4

Kane v.s. Kurt Angle
A great match but with a bad ending. It's very surprising to see how dominate Kurt was in this match. This was Kane's last PPV match until he returned to PPV at Unforgiven this year. Great match. ***1/4

Ric Flair v.s. Undertaker
Awesome match right here. Some spots are a little messed up, but both men make up for it. The ending is great (especially for an Undertaker fan) as he ends it with a Tombstone Piledriver to take his WrestleMania win/loss record to 10-0. ****

Edge v.s. Booker T
Good match, bad storyline (they're fighting because got a shampoo commercial deal in Japan and Booker didn't).Both men have great talents but they unfortunatley don't show a lot of it here. But at least we get to see an Edge-A-Roonie. **3/4

Stone Cold Steve Austin v.s. Scott Hall
Pretty much a brawl, but a very good brawl. This would be Stone Cold and Scott Hall's very last WrestleMania (sadly). Austin dishes out more Stunners than I think he's ever done at any other WrestleMania. Really good match. ***1/2

Tag Team Title: Dudleys v.s. Hardys v.s. Billy & Chuck v.s. APA
This be a Fatal Four Way Elimination Match. It definetly couldn't top WM 17 TLC II match but it was still pretty good. I think they should have made this match TLC IV but that's just me.***

The Rock v.s. Hollywood Hulk Hogan
This is the match that Toronto fans were waiting all night for as they went nuts throughout the whole match. This was pretty much the unexpected rebirth of Hulkamania as he got the most cheers from everyone (the people even broke the 'ol "Rocky Sucks!" chant). This match was mostly entertainment filled with some pretty good wrestling thrown in. Toronto's match of the night. ****

Women's Title: Jazz v.s. Lita v.s. Trish
This match got nearly no reaction since it had to follow Rock/Hogan (but how could they stay silent with Trish in an outfit like that?!) In a funny sidenote, during the match, Lita lifts up her shirt and the crowd begins to roar but then the shirt slips down again and we hear a loud depressed sigh (from fans all over the world, not just in Toronto). Disapointing that Jazz won though. **1/2

Undisputed WWF Title: Chris Jericho v.s. Triple H
Even this match didn't get much reaction. Chris Jericho main events WrestleMania for the very first time and he even goes in as the champion. The match had a predictable ending but it was still a pretty good match. A lot of it was Jericho just going after HHH's injured knee though. Still, a very good effort. ***3/4

All in all, WrestleMania X8 will most likely not dissapoint. Every match was good and much entertainment is found on this PPV.

Summary: The best
Review: 65,000 Fans Screamed and cheered the roof off of Skydome in Toronto As the Rock defeated Hollywood Hulk Hogan. That was an amazing match to see two great Icons battle like that. There were moements of X8 I wish to re-live, and there are some that history will keep forever.

Summary: Rock vs. Hogan... I prefer HBK vs. HHH
Review: Wrestlemania is always the biggest show of the year. This year the event was focused on one match and one match only. This was okay if you are a Rock fan. Otherwise, Rock vs. Hogan would not have gotten you overly psyched about the grand-daddy of them all. They put on a good match, but there was so much more on this card that deserved a lot more attention. For instance, you would think that the WWE Undisputed Title being defended at Wrestlemania for the first time would be a big deal. Triple H challenged Chris Jericho in an excellent title bout. If you don't like Stephanie McMahon, you will love the end of this match. The Intercontinental Title was on the line between William Regal and Rob Van Dam. The Undertaker attempts to extend his Wrestlemania winning streak to 10-0 as he takes on Ric Flair in a no holds barred classic. Edge goes one on one with Booker T. Stone Cold Steve Austin goes head to head with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. Kurt Angle takes on Kane. Christian challenges DDP for the European Title. Billy & Chuck defend the Tag Team Titles in a Four Corners Elimination Match against the Hardy Boyz, the Dudley Boyz and the APA. Jazz defends the Womens Title in a triple threat match against Trish Stratus and Lita. Maven defends the Hardcore Title against Goldust in a match that winds up going almost all night. In the end, the 68,000+ fans in Toronto's Skydome left with the warm feeling that finally the Rock was booed out of an arena on Pay Per View!

Summary: THE ABSOLUTE BEST EVER!
Review: Leading up to WM X-8, THE ROCK described his match with HULK HOGAN as a match to find out who was the absolute best ever. That is also a very fitting description of this event, which far exceeded even the highest of expectations.
For that one night HULKAMANIA was reborn and running wilder than ever as the 68,000 at Skydome in Toronto paid tribute to the biggest superstar in the history of wrestling. The pops that HOGAN received from the fans during the match were bigger than any I've ever heard, they went totally crazy!
The match was easily HOGAN'S best in years and somehow all that same old stuff he always does(posing, hulk-up, legdrop),didn't seem so boring and hokey. THE ROCK may be the star of the present and future, but this was HULK'S night.
In other matches, RIC FLAIR-UNDERTAKER nearly stole the show. The no-DQ match was filled with false finishes and plenty of bleeding, mostly by FLAIR. FLAIR put on an incredible performance and TAKER showed the critics who think his ring work is declining that he still has plenty left in the tank.
These two matches made the world title match between CHRIS JERICHO and TRIPLE H seem like an anti-climactic ending to the show, but it was still a good match(Is it possible for TRIPLE H to have a bad match?)
BOOKER T, KURT ANGLE, EDGE, and the Hardcore title changing hands repeatedly throughout the night are a few more of the shiw's highlights.
The only complaint I have is the Women's Title match. Why was it the second to last match? The women just are not good wrestlers!
But, if you get the DVD, you can just skip it and pretend that it never happened. Anyone who considers themself even a moderate wrestling fan must have this DVD, it is worth three times the price.
The extras are by far the best on any WWE DVD yet, but who cares? This event was THE ABSOLUTE BEST EVER!

Summary: Excellent build-up, great execution...
Review: I was blown away by the Rock-Hogan match. While watching it live at a friend's house, I realized I was witnessing something historic, to be remembered by wrestling fans for years to come. It is one of the greatest matches of the past 20 years. As for the rest of the PPV? I enjoyed it very much, save for the dull Austin-Hall match. I thought the tag-team championship match, although a hurried storyline, was great fun and I enjoyed the Booker T-Edge match. Some high-energy action from the WWE!

Summary: THE WORST MANIA EVER!!!
Review: I am so darn sick & tired of seeing people give this pay-per-view good reviews. How about a REAL review from a REAL fan?! Wrestlemania 18 was the worst Mania of all time! Scott Hall took on Stone Cold Steve Austin in a match that lasted only 9 minutes and 53 seconds long! And you watch this match and tell me that Scott Hall don't sell the worst stone cold stunner EVER! Ric Flair took on The Undertaker in a no-holds-barred matchup in which Flair hits 'Taker in the head with a lead pipe shot that comes miles from contact. The match between The Rock and Hollywood Hulk Hogan was also terrible. Hogan may be a great entertainer, but he can't wrestle worth a darn. And that leg drop he calls a finishing move is so dull, I've got a mammaw that could probably drop a better one! But thank God, The Rock won. Kurt Angle takes on Kane in a match in which he wins by using those darn ropes! Wow! That's how he beat Chris Benoit as last years Mania! Why do so many wrestlers have to win by cheating?! And Triple H took on Y2J Chris Jericho for the WWF Undisputed Championship in the worst Wrestlemania main event ever! Why couldn't they have just beaten the heck out of eachother instead of going after eachothers legs all the time? Terrible matchup. The fans in the Toronto Skydome were just dead the whole way through this lackluster event. They were given nothing to get excited about, so I don't blame them. This pay-per-view was boring as hell! DON'T BUY IT! RENT IT INSTEAD! There wasn't even ONE high point in the entire PPV. I ordered this PPV on Direct TV and watched it LIVE on PPV. It was so poor that I nearly wept after watching it! It was such a waste of my money. I don't blame Stone Cold Steve Austin for walking out on the WWF/WWE. The storylines, scripts, and matches are so poor & substandard that I would've walked out on the company too. Whenever I watch Wrestlemania 17 I realise just how much I still love wrestling. But there wasn't one good match on the card for this PPV event. Maybe the WWF's dying.

Review: This is the best ppv I have ever witnessed in my entire 16 year life. The best matches on this ppv were Ric Flair Vs. The Undertaker, Rock Vs. Hogan and Jericho Vs. HHH. I recommend you go out and buy this DVD, you won't regret it.
