Summary: Icon vs. Icon
Review: Wrestlemania X8 was like no other. The fueds between the superstars in the matches had to end, because the brutality that was shown is beyond respect. Rock vs. Hogan was a match that determined the best ever. It made history, because it was a dream matchup that no one thought they would ever see. Much respect was shown between the two after the match. This match was the one the fans were into the most. The main event between Triple H and Chris Jericho was a slobber nocker. Stone Cold's match with Scott Hall was a great war to watch. Also the performances by Drowning Pool and Saliva were great. If you love brutal PPV's, and some respect thrown in then get this PPV immediatly!

Below I have listed the matches-

1. WWF Intercontinental Championship-
William Regal(champion) vs. Rob Van Dam

2. WWF European Championship-
Diamond Dallas Page(champion) vs. Christian

3. WWF Hardcore Championship-
Maven(champion) vs. Goldust

4. Kane vs. Kurt Angle

5. Ric Flair vs. The Undertaker

6. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Scott Hall
w/Kevin Nash(special enforcer)

7. WWF Tag Team Championship(Four Team Elimination match)-
Billy & Chuck(champions) vs. Hardy Boyz
vs. APA vs. Dudley Boyz

8. Icon vs. Icon-
The Rock vs. Hollywood Hulk Hogan

9. WWF Women's Championship(triple threat)-
Jazz(champion) vs. Lita vs. Trish Stratus

10. WWF Undisputed Championship-
Chris Jericho(champion) vs. Triple H

This year's Wrestlemania has the biggest, talked about, historic match that we have not seen in any kind of sport. If you want to bear witness to the dream match of a life time then you must purchase Wrestlemamia X8.

Summary: WrestleMania x8?? WrestleMania XIX!!
Review: Wrestlemania x8 was okay. but it didn't compare to WrestleMania XIX. You can buy x8 but why buy when you have WrestleMania XIX to buy instead.

Summary: pimp wrestlmania
Review: It had the best match you could ask for the man who started it all in I am talking about Hogan and then who have a man who has made this company what it is today The Rock. You also have the scsa match against scott hall which was ok but it was down on the cared. The wwe title match was good triple h vs.Y2J the only bad thing was it was after the Rock hogan match which every fan was into so other than that it was a good match. The dvd extras are good if your into that especally the next night on raw is a good dvd extra.

Summary: A boring Wrestlemania
Review: Wrestlemnia x8 wasn't that great. They had some boring matches. The stage wasn't good for Wrestlemania.Give it about 5/10.

IC Title-Regal vs.R.V.D.-This is how they started off at last years Wrestlemania, with the IC Title, and Regal was in it to.Some nice moves. Its a little slow though. 7/10

European Title-DDP vs.Christian-I think this match was better than Regal and Robs match.Faster, quicker, and cool moves. 8/10

Hardcore Title-Maven vs.Goldust-The title chaged hand lots of times.First,Crash,Hurricane,Molly Holly,Christian, and back to Maven. They hardly used any weapons. 3/10

Kane vs.Kurt Angle-This match was o.k.Better than the matches above. It would have been better if it was a street fight or something. 8/10

Ric Flair vs.The Undertaker-I think Flair should stop wrestling. He made this match doring. Why do they make Undertaker fight an old guy.Lots of blood though. 6/10

Edge vs.Booker T.-This match was fun to see.It had awsome moves and fast pace.Could have been a little better. 8/10

Stone Cold vs.Scott Hall-Why is the wwe makeing all these superstars fight weak people?Austin wasn't even close to a main event. But,its fun seeing Nash and Hall get beat up though. 5/10

Elimination Tag Team Tiles Match-Dudleys vs.Billy and Chuck vs.Hardys vs.A.P.A.-I wish this was a T.L.C. match or something. This match was boring and slow moving.Nice closeline From Hell though. 6/10

Rock vs. Hulk Hogan-Two icins go face to face, the greatest match in history people say. But,I say it sucked.People say its the match of the year, but really its boring. They take to long staring at each other after every other move.I expected more from these two. 8/10

Triple Treat Womens Title-Jazz vs.trish vs.Lita-like all womens matches its all slow and boring. What else do i need to say.Its like a regular Raw or Smackdown match. 5/10

WWE Title-HHH vs.Y2j-The only good part about this match was seeing Stephanie geting pedigred.I didn't like the fact the Jerico was in the main event at Wrestlemania. 8/10

All in all this ppv wasn't the best ppv. 8/10

Summary: Above Average
Review: Ok, this was an alright PPV. I came started watching the WWE in July of 2002, so anything before that excitied me. Here are the matches:

WILLIAM REGAL VS ROB VAN DAM FOR INTERCONTININTAL TITLE:
I love watching RVD work, and Regal's brass knux are always fun. Good match. Excellent way to start WrestleMania 7/10

DDP VS CHRISTIAN FOR EUROPEAN TITLE:
This match bored me. I really don't like DDP anyway, and I forced myself not to hit the skip button. YAWN. 4/10

MAVEN VS GOLDUST FOR HARDCORE TITLE:
Hardcore matches are always fun, and I won't spoil the show, but the 24/7 rule comes into effect, and this becomes one wacky chase.Funny. 6/10 for the entire night.

KANE VS KURT ANGLE:
Really exciting, but could have been better. Solid Match. 6/10

UNDERTAKER VS RIC FLAIR:
OK, I know Ric Flair is this huge legend, but please. His time has ended. The fat lady has sung. It's cool to stay in the WWE, but get out of the ring! I love the Undertaker, though, so for that reason...6/10

EDGE VS BOOKER T:
I love Edge!!! Any match he's in is automaticaly great! 9/10

AUSTIN VS SCOTT HALL:
I was never into the nWo/Steve Austin thing, so this bored me. Once again, my finger twitched toward the skip button. 5/10

APA VS BILLY AND CHUCK VS HARDY BOYZ VS DUDLEY BOYZ FOR THE TAG TEAM TITLES:
This was my favorite match, but I'm a softie for elimination matches. Stacey made it even better than it was. 9.5/10

LITA VS JAZZ VS TRISH:
I'm a huge fan of Lita and I would have loved for this match to be longer, but for the five minutes the match lasted, it was OK. 6/10

THE ROCK VS HULK HOGAN:
This was an awesome match. Overated, but awesome. Took forever to start, though, with the entrances and the staring at each other. 9/10

CHRIS JERICHO VS TRIPLE H:
I won't ruin it with spoilers, but solid match. 8/10

All in all it was a good ppv and has really cool extras.

Summary: A Good WrestleMania
Review: This was WWE's premiere event back in 2002 (back when they were still WWF). Unforunately this WrestleMania left you feeling a bit cold afterwards. Here's a rundown of the matches and what they came off like to me.

1. Rob Van Dam vs. William Regal - Okay, honestly I had forgotten about this match halfway through the Pay-per-view. It just wasn't that great.

2. Christian vs. Diamond Dallas Page - After a let-down performance from RVD to this I was beginning to question that I made the right move in ordering this PPV. This match was okay for what it was. Not WrestleMania caliber though.

3. Hardcore Title: Goldust vs. Maven - No one even knew this match was on the card till the day. So as you can tell it was just there. Interesting title changes throughout the entire event though. Including Molly Holly (Mighty Molly at present time) getting her first title reign in WWF (albeit a short one).

4. Kurt Angle vs. Kane - This match should've been great. Unforunately WWF threw it together in like two weeks to give these two something to do. Still a great match with Angle involved.

5. Undertaker vs. Ric Flair - Flair's past his prime and Taker just isn't feeling it anymore. A let-down between two (once) greats.

6. Booker T vs. Edge - This was over Edge getting a Japanese shampoo commerical that Booker T wanted......... yeah, I know. Good match. Just dumb storyline that wasted these two.

7. Stone Cold vs. Scott Hall - I see why Austin was so mad. This match could've been great but was not built up in the slightest.

8. Dudley Boyz (w/ Stacy Keibler) vs. APA vs. Hardy Boyz vs. Billy & Chuck - An awesome tag team match between some of the best WWF had to offer at the time. Shouldn't of had to follow Austin vs. Hall because the crowd was disappointed after seeing that.

9. Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs. The Rock - Match of the night by far. The most build up, two of the best (even though Hogan's getting up there in age). They both put on a great show with the crowd completely into it! They were booing Rocky one minute then the next chanting his name. Awesome, awesome contest.

10. Women's Title: Jazz vs. Lita vs. Trish Stratus - I'd like to know what [person] at WWF thought it was wise to put this match after Rock/Hogan? Should've been and excellent match between the Women's elite in the company. Unforunately the crowd was dead, and most of them had left after Rock/Hogan. However if you don't need the audience involvement to get into a match it was great.

11. WWF Title: Triple H vs. Chris Jericho w/ Stephanie McMahon - Stephanie McMahon saved this match. Honestly Chris Jericho's great but with someone like face-HHH to play off of? I don't know what possessed WWF into thinking HHH could play a face. Again, the crowd was half gone after this match. The only people that stayed were the die-hard Canadians that wanted to see Trish & Jericho in the last two matches.

So all together this PPV was good but the placement of matches was the only problem.

Summary: Better Than Wrestlemania 17?...Not by a long shot!
Review: After a classic Wrestlemania 17 in the Houston Astrodome, which was hyped by the return match from Wrestlemania 15 between Austin and Rock, the WWE decided to bring a legend of the sport back. And what a mistake that was. Wrestlemania 18 had the potential of being a great PPV despite not having any gimmick matches such as a Tables, Ladders and Chairs or Street Fight. However the PPV fell short completely.

WWE Intercontinental Championship
Rob Van Dam vs. William Regal

Now as I mentioned in my review from the 2001 Survivor Series, I am not a fan when it comes to Regal matches, but this one had to be one of the best matches, if not the best on the card. A great, solid opener with a nice bump by RVD near the end. *** stars.

WWE European Championship
Diamond Dallas Page vs. Christian

I figured watching this match that this was just a filler, but in actuality, not a bad match at all. A few missed spots during the beginning, but it was quickly made up for. Very unpredictable ending as well. **1/2 stars.

WWE Hardcore Championship
Maven vs. Goldust

And if you want to add Spike Dudley, Crash, Al Snow, The Hurricane, Mighty Molly and Christian, it's up to you. Basically this went from a very lop-sided match into a more comical, rather than physical ending. The title changed hands about five times throughout the PPV. Boring. 1/2 star.

Kane vs. Kurt Angle

Any match with Kane, you can be sure of two things. One: It will be good in the beginning. Two: It will [stink] for the remainder of the match. This was no exception. Another controversial Angle ending. **1/2 stars.

No Disqualification
Undertaker vs. Ric Flair

This was the only match that I guess you could say was a gimmick match. A lot of blood spilled in this confrontation, no doubt. And this would get a lot better rating from me if it wasn't for the fact that you can see Ric Flair missing Taker's head with that lead pipe by about 2 feet. Terrible ending too. Horseman reunion that was spoiled. What was the point? ** stars.

Edge vs. Booker T

One sign in the Skydome said it all. "They are fighting over shampoo." Bottom line: An alright match that was too short. The outcome was very predictable. Toronto native vs. Houston native in Toronto Arena. You think about it. By the way, the Edge-a-rooni [stinked]. **1/2 stars.

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Scott Hall

Too much interference by a certain nWo member ruined this short but somewhat enjoyable confrontation. But I guess they needed it otherwise the match would have been only about 5 minutes long. **3/4 stars.

WWE Tag Team Championship Four Team Elimination
Billy and Chuck vs. Dudley Boyz vs. Hardy Boyz vs. APA

Oh, Lord. You want to talk about "torture." This is torture personified. Why the APA gets a title shot at Wrestlemania is beyond me. This match [stinked] and that's all that needs to be said. A horrible way to utilize a table as well. Probably the worst that I have ever seen. 1/2 stars.

The Rock vs. Hollywood Hulk Hogan

Is it possible to have two very horrible matches in a Wrestlemania? Obviously it is. The most anticipated match was also the most overrated....No I mean OVERRATED of any match that hyped up. The Rock was overselling moves and Hogan's ring rust was apparent. Another reviewer said that this would be Hogan's last Wrestlemania, which gave it a nostalgic feeling. Well think again. Here it is almost Wrestlemania 19 and Hogan could be at this year's PPV as well. To put it bluntly, terrible match, which gets one star ONLY because of the crowd reaction. * star.

WWE Triple Threat Women's Championship
Jazz vs. Lita vs. Trish Stratus

Better than Hogan/Rock, that's for darn sure. Crowd wasn't into this one much at all because of the energy they spent on the last match. Nice bump from Trish on the turnbuckle and decent ending. ** stars.

WWE Undisputed Championship
Chris Jericho vs. Triple H

This match wasn't even that hyped up prior to Wrestlemania. And yet this had the more history. A seemingly short match for the main event. A potential Match of the Year candidate that did not live up to even the little hype that it had. **3/4 stars.

The crowd was laid-back for the most part which killed most of the ratings and even saved one match from getting a worse rating. Not a single Match of the Year Candidate either, which is very disappointed for the greatest event in sports entertainment. All-in-all a mediocre PPV to say the very least. Hopefully WM 19 will be better. Anyway, it CAN'T be worse than this one.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Good, but by no means great.
Review: The highlight was The rock v Hulk Hogan. This match was good but for all the hype it should have been better. Apart from this match the rest was average. Undertaker v Flair was dull and full of mistakes, Angle v Kane was good but a rubbish finish. The live band, Saliva, did nothing to help an already quiet crowd. Massive crowd reaction for the Hulk meant that the WWE title match between HHH and Jericho had little affect. Overall an OK event, but don't be fooled by the hype, Wrestlemania X8 was not "the biggest extravaganza of all time."

Summary: WrestleMania XVIII
Review: This Wrestlemania was one of the worst. They tried to hard to out beat Wrestlemania 17 and failed. The only good matches were Hogan vs. Rock & Undertaker vs. Ric Flair. Hopefully Wrestlemania XIX is alot better. I'm looking forward to seeing Brock Lesnar Take On Kurt Angle. What A Classic Match That Would Be. And the rumoured match between Rock & Goldberg. Hopefully we'll get to see the return of Steve Austin.
