A piano rendition of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" accompanies a dazzling host of moon and stars dancing across the screen. Color patterns and object sequencing are introduced by way of bright building blocks; puzzle pieces show spatial relationships--all of which, experts say, cause tiny synapses in a child's brain to make critical connections. This, of course, matters not to kiddies who merely delight in the interspersed scenes of babies and animals at play. A superb soundtrack of various composers is the only narrative in the 37-minute program; there are no added voiceovers or recitations.
