Summary: This one is GREAT...
Review: I am a HUGE fan of the FIRM. I've lost a lot of weight and gotten so much stronger with the FIRM system. This video is really awesome because it is challenging but time will just wiz by. The steps do take a little time to get used to. I disagree with one of the other reviewers who said that Lisa (the instructor) does a poor job teaching the steps. She does not hold your hand and break down each move, but the moves are not complicated. You can pick it up by watching 1 pass and following along. Overall, this is one of my favorite FIRM's because it goes by quick and it gives your muscles abreak from the heavy weights. This is one every FIRM lover should buy.

Summary: Time Saving Workout!
Review: I bought the Firm Cardio Sculpt Blaster about 9 months ago and I love it! I have since bought The Firm System with the Fanny Lifter and Sculpting Stick. After about a week I was hooked. At first I thought that I would fall off the step and kill myself, but I was amazed that I could do it without any problem.

In this DVD there is plenty of weight training, and on the days I don't feel like doing weights (or I am sore from a hard workout) I just leave them out. Then I feel like I have had a good cardio workout and not strained to much. I am more of a cardio gal, but the more I do the Firm the more I see results with weight training.

The instructors for The Firm workouts are great. The other thing that I like is that they use the same instructors in most all of the videos. It makes it easier to follow when you are begining to follow the same person throughout the different video's.

The routines are great too. You will find from one Firm workout to another you will see some of the same moves. This helps when you are learning a new routine.

The thing that I like the most about this workout is that it is full of cardio and sculpting all in about 30 minutes. I do the other Firm DVD's when I have more time, but when 30 minutes is all I have to spare Cardio Sculpt Blaster is perfect.

Summary: Waste of money
Review: I consider myself to be a veteran of home workout videos. This is the WORST of all time. The lead instructor flies through the movements without doing counts or adequate reps or instruction in a horrid twang that rings of an overly peppy cheerleader who is nothing but pure fluff. I am VERY disappointed with this purchase. The other FIRM videos with other instructors are much better---stay away from this airhead who blitzes through the workout without sufficient instruction.

Summary: If you like Step, this is for you...
Review: I didn't much like this exercise video. I should preface that by saying that the reason why I didn't like it is that I'm not the most coordinated person. I found the step moves to be complicated and annoying. I didn't get my heart rate up because I was constantly trying to figure out how to complete the moves. I have some other videos that use a step but none of them are this annoying. I was expecting a program that would allow me to use the "fanny firmer" to pinpoint certain problem areas but I didn't expect the video to be mostly used with the step. I have several The Firm videos but none this annoying. If you are good at the step, this also might not be good for you because it doesn't really seem to get the heart rate up, even if you knew all the moves. Based on this experience, I won't purchase any other programs where a step is in use.

Review: I just love this video!! I have all of the Firm videos, the fanny lifter, the stick..etc. I love this one because it is perfect for when you don't have a lot of time but you want to get in a good workout that isn't boring. I have been easing back into exercising after having a baby and after doing this routine just once, BOY! I could really feel it in my thighs, my buns, and my arms. The routine is easy to follow and it is safe. ALot of attention given to your butt and thighs with all of the squats. The music is ok, but hardly noticeable because the routine is so much fun!! I rarely say that about exercising but I have found the Firm series to be truly fun and I look forward to doing them. Get this one for sure! For those days when you only have 40 minutes to work out (the routine is 30 min. I am giving time to dress, undress..etc.) And, it is REALLY TRUE what they claim in their ads, You WILL See a noticeable difference in 10 workouts --- after 10 workouts, my family and friends were commenting about my appearance -- especially my butt and legs -- and I didn't think I could see any difference!! Anyway, get this one, you won't be disappointed!!

Summary: Not even close to the old firm tapes!
Review: I just this minute finished doing one of my older tapes cross trainder; cardio strength w/Pam Cauthen and that is what I call a workout. The old tapes w/my old box (now called the fanny lifter) are unsurpassable. The new tapes with those seemingly fake southern accents are a cheap imitation of the originals. I am presently looking for the tape which features Susan Harris, whom I have always heard was outstanding as well as other original tapes. For someone who seen the originals, I am NOT at all impressed with the new tapes. It also seems that the new "fanny lifter" is just a way of increasing revenue AKA making more money on an old product. They really should not have fixed what wasn't broken. They took a perfectly good product and introduced a cheaper quality one of plastic no less. There is one positive aspect of this particular tape as well as the other 3 new tapes which I have purchased, the new tapes are ideal if you are pressed for time. You can then get in in a semi-descent work out and I do stress the semi descent part.

Summary: Good sweat in a short time!
Review: I like this workout because the cardio routine is fun and is good for days when time is limited. After doing the first Body Sculpting workouts, this one really broke the monotony of the toning exercises. If you need a great cardio workout with some light weights thrown in, this is for you. If you prefer more emphasis on toning, stick with the other dvds. For people who need more cardio, this is a must have for your Firm library. Of course the Fanny Lifter is used here, but you could probably modify the workout with a chair and some other small step. All in all, I am glued to The Firm and would recommend all their new equipment and videos.

Summary: Love it!
Review: I love the new FIRM series so much better than the old series. This workout is a great cardio workout for only thirty minutes! Warm up to cool music on the floor and then launch instantly into a low impact segment set to awesome, motivating music. Step work is next, the intensity bumped up by the use of at least five pound dumbells. After this, more step work that is really fun! Then comes a set of squats while lifting one leg and tapping the toe on the fanny lifter. This is a nice addition to the workout because it will elevate your heart rate and work your legs and rump, too! Afterward you get to cool down. The stretch is sufficient for being short, and you'll be left wondering how all of this excitement could be packed into thirty minutes!
