Summary: A Fast and Effective Workout that Fits Your Schedule!
Review: I switched to the Quick Fix Total Mix workout DVD after having a disappointing affair with the NYC Ballet Workout DVD. Quick Fix offers a lot more: faster, more vibrant exercises that get your heart rate and motivation moving, clearer descriptions of the exercises and what each individual exercise will do for your body from the instructors, and the option to create your own customized workout that will fit your particular needs and schedule demands.

The three sections - abs, buns, and arms/legs offer three different workout routines each, and each routine is only 10 minutes long. There is even a small clock at the bottom of your screen so you can see where you're at in the workout. Very helpful and motivating.

The instructors can be a tad annoying at times ("okay, you're doing great!"), but when I'm really focused on the exercise, it doesn't bother me as much. The abs instructor is particularly good at verbally walking you through an exercise in full detail before flinging you into something that might be too complex for you to try with minimal instruction. The instructors also stress safety during the routines by using chairs to keep your balance and showing how to safely do exercises with weights so your back doesn't get strained. You'll need a pair of 3 to 8 pound dumbbells for the arms and arms/legs combo routines and a kitchen chair to help you through some of the buns routines.

After the first 30 minute workout, my thighs ached in that nice I've-just-done-something-good-for-my-body way. An hour workout, however, offered a bit more of a muscular aching that bordered on too much, so remember to pace yourself. The exercises seem really simple, but at the end of the day, you really feel it.

One of the legs/arms combo routines is a bit much for me at this point in my journey to a healthier body. It's a little too challenging because it involves squats and hammer curls simultaneously, along with other leg and arm combos, and I haven't built up the strength or stamina yet to make it through that one without having to pause, but I've found a very complementary trio of exercises that seem custom-created for me, and before I know it, the workout is over, I've worked up a good, healthy sweat, and I'm ready to hit the shower.

Highly recommended for those who are pressed for time but want to get the most out of short spurts of exercise. I recommend doing it daily...even if it's only ten minutes worth of abs exercises. Perhaps we won't all have the "six pack abs" that the instructors have at the end of the day, but the calories you burn and the isolated exercises that work particular muscle groups really offer a nice wake-up call to your day.

My only criticisms would be the custom workout option only offers up to three variations of exercise routines. Some days I'd like a more rigorous and lengthier workout, and you have to pause at the end of the first completed 30 minutes and choose which exercise routines you want for your additional 10, 20, or 30 minutes, which can be a motivation killer. Other than that and the flaunting of Minna's tanned jugs as she leads you in arm curls, it's a great workout, and each day I look forward to the challenges it offers.

Summary: Clear, concise, and effective
Review: This is an excellent workout DVD if you are looking for something to strengthen and tone specific areas. I love the fact that I can choose between three half-hour workouts focusing on the abs, buns, or arms and legs; OR mix and match three different 10-minute segments of my choosing. All three instructors are clear and concise, and the exercises are varied and interesting. None of them are very difficult but they are all effective. The time flies by since everything is done in 10-minute periods. I highly recommend this DVD.

Summary: This low impact work-out is wonderful!
Review: You don't need to be in shape already to start this program. You just need to have at least 10 minutes a day and a DVD player.

I hate working out, but it's a necessary evil. For years, I've been looking for a fun work-out that isn't lead by an annoying ex-cheerleader-type, and isn't just a lot of ineffective dance moves (or Richard Simmons). This fits the bill perfectly! The routines are easy to follow, the women are energentic and encouraging, but not annoying, and it's difficult to get bored with over 100 different combinations to try.

Even though it seems like the segments are low-impact and moving slowly, you'll find yourself working up a sweat and wondering where that last 10 minutes went. I recommend this DVD for anyone - male or female - looking for a good work-out that will keep you motivated.

Summary: Wonderful Toning Exercise
Review: I bought Minna's Strength and Grace and Fat Eliminator workouts last year and still do them almost every week. I was excited when I found another Minna workout. This is an excellent toning workout. It gives much more varied movements from your traditional squats, lunges, and crunches (which are also on here too) The moves are new and fun to do. There is a clock in the bottom of the screen that is so inspirational. You wouldn't believe how much more you can do when you know it is almost over! Also, the workouts are broken down into 10 minute sections so it can be fit into any schedule because you can do one or all nine at a time in any combination. If you are buying this just for Minna, don't. She only leads in one section of the DVD, but the other instructors are good too. This is strictly a toning exercise, so if that's what you're looking for, I highly recommend it.

Summary: great workout!!
Review: This is such a great exercise video!! I am not exactly thrilled with the idea of a workout, but when I did this one I loved it. Each segment goes by so fast yet at the same time I could feel that I was getting a great workout, I did four of the segments without even thinking about it and I felt great afterward. I can see this will be one workout that I will be able to stick with for a long time and not get bored with it because of the great variety!!

Summary: Great Purchase for After Baby
Review: I purchased this DVD after I had my daughter and started it when she was about 3 1/2 months old, and it was just the motivation I needed! The DVD is perfect in that you can choose from several 10 minute segments (mix arms, abs, buns or legs) and tailor your own workout. This was great because I could make up my own workout while she was napping. I'd recommend purchasing this DVD to alternate with a more intense cardio workout. Perfect toning DVD!

Summary: Annoying Instructors
Review: I have Minna's Optimized Blend workout DVD which is why I purchased this one (its one of my favorites). However when I first viewed it I realized that Minna was only on the last 3 segments, and other instructors were on the other 6. I found the other instructors quite lacking in their poor instruction and annoying voices. I also don't feel that the segments are very compatible...

Summary: Great DVD! Love the ability to customize my workout!
Review: This is one of my favorite workout DVD's. I love being able to customize my workout, there are lots of combinations so you don't get bored quickly. These 10 minute sessions are very effective, they really do give you a good workout. I try to do at least 3 segments each day, to get a well rounded workout. All of the sessions are good, but I really like Mina as an instructor. Seeing her great body makes me want to work even harder; I'd love to have a body like hers.

As far as workout dvd's go, this is a great one. I highly recommend this one.

Review: Wow, this is really excellent workout DVD. Since it is DVD, it is so easy to use everyday unlike VHS tape. I was looking for this kind of the excercise system for long time. It is very easy and fun to follow.
