Summary: Very awesome and powerful movie.
Review: The acting may be a bit on the poor side, but this is an awesome and powerful movie. This movie is about a small town minister in a gang-infested city, trying to get the word of God across to the gangs. Trying to get Gods unconditional love across to the gangs. He wants to fill the gangs with love so bad, that he does whatever it takes, including entering their "turf" to tell them that Jesus loves them. I'm telling you, this movie is just powerful to see who and what God's love can change. I highly recommend this movie to all, Christian or not. Even though the acting is a bit so-so, I am giving it all 5 stars because of the power I believe this movie has. Please watch this movie. You will be moved.

God Bless!

The movie is so lame it's not even a good waste of time.

Summary: Dramatic, vivid, and very highly recommended viewing
Review: The Cross And The Switchblade is the special anniversary edition DVD, which was digitally restored from the original 35mm negative. This is the now classic story of how the life-changing message of Jesus Christ gave a gang leader the inspiration and opportunity to transform his violent life into something better. Reaching out to the hopes and fears of young folks everywhere, The Cross And The Switchblade is dramatic, vivid, and very highly recommended viewing. This 105 minutes, fully color DVD production is enhanced with extra features including 8 language tracks, English sub-titles, commentary by writer/director Don Murray and associate producer Dr. A. Kenneth Curtis, actor biographies, and more.
