Summary: Apocalypse?
Review: I didn't care for the movie portrayal at all...I have seen many interpretations of the end times, all of which of necessity is interpretive, since only God knows what REALLY happens, but this seemed to be lacking in believability. Events happened, then stopped, or weren't accounted for, and so much was purported to happen in the space of several days, that it seemed more like science fiction than a portrayal of the rapture. I'm afraid I wouldn't recommend it, nor view any like it.

Summary: If not for the actors...
Review: I found this movie to be a good reference point for the End Times Revelations. It was filmed not in a movie forum, but as if you were actually sitting in on someone's real life. If not for the bad acting of some characters, it would have been easily believable. However, it still had the punch and fear factor to bring the viewer to tears. I wish it had been a bit more thourough. I would say that the Left Behind movie covered much more of the whole story. On a complete basis, I would rate this version a four out of five. Check it out.

Summary: so bad
Review: I had to watch this film in a university class called the Apocalyptic Consciousness. It is possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. It exploits the tragedies in the stock footage it uses, the acting is terrible, it inspires xenophobia, and contains several shameless plugs for Jack van Impe, a self-proclaimed Ph.d. Don't waste your time watching this movie, and certainly don't waste your money to buy it.

Summary: Call On His Name Dot Com
Review: I really enjoyed this video, but I did think that some of the acting was a bit on the corny side. The Israeli General overacted pretty badly. That said, I found this movie entertaining, well planned out and Biblically sound (though I am not a "pre-trib rapture" believer per se'). Jack Van Impe's influence in this movie was evident, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. Dr. Van Impe has some solid insights into the Apocalypse and it shows in this movie. All in all, I would recommend this movie to anyone, Christian or not. You won't be caught sleeping, while this video is playing, that's for sure. Buy it so that others won't be "Left Behind". Speaking of Left Behind, now that should be an awesome movie.

Summary: Made me think twice
Review: I saw this movie and it made me think twice. It is a wonderful way to minister on the cool to those family members who aren't trying to hear it. Since satan uses T.V. to get to us lets turn it and use it against him!

Summary: You Think you know...
Review: I was really surprised at this movie. I didn't really suspect it to ammount to much considering it came out a year before Left Behind did. I liked it a lot. It was neat how half of the movie was filmed in the news studio, and that they could go all around the world, and show everything from mostly just one place. A very good idea to which the gorgeous Leigh Lewis is playing the star character.
It is the age of the newscaster era. Top Journalists Helen Hannah (Liegh Lewis) and Bronson Pearl (Richard Nester) are caught in the middle of something about to go off. World War III is erupting all over the face of the earth, in country's that were once allies. While Bronson is over in Israel, Live with the explosion footage, suddenly millions of people disappear all at once off the face of the earth. President Franco Macalousso claims he has taken these people away due to religious purposes, and that they will cause even more disaster on the earth even with the war. Helen finds this suspicious, and investigates, finding out that it is not the people that were taken, but it was the people who were left behind that are in danger. Soon, an associate of Macalousso, Len Parker, is taking over Helens newscaster building claiming he is now the CEO. It seems that he is stalking her with spies, and as she desperately tries to escape, she must remember, there is one more person to convince before she can escape the spiraling doom that the antichrist now has her trapped in.
I have noticed something about all the Rapture films. Almost all the starring woman of the films, Left Behind, A Thief In the Night, Apocalypse, all of these have blondes starring as the main characters. Maybe they should change to someone different, but these actresses still do the best. I still think Leigh Lewis is the best out of all of them. Keep up the good Raptures.

Summary: good storyline - soap opera style camera work and acting
Review: I've watched Left Behind, Left Behind II: Tribulation Force, Revelation, Megiddo: The Omega Code 2 and now Apocalypse. Apocalypse is another one of the Cloud Ten Pictures heavily influenced by Jack and Rexella Van Impe who also make cameo appearances on the tv sets in the movie. I really liked Revelation which was like a real major motion picture. Although Apocalypse continues in the tradition of the Left Behind movies, Peter Gerretsen's directing reminds me of Daytime soap operas with their overdramatized acting and cheap videocamera style photography. Seems like a low budget sequel to Left Behind. I mean it's an ok movie but definitely not my favorite.

Summary: YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS!
Review: Ok, this is the most awesome movie you'll ever watch! I 1st saw this movie at a christain camp at I realized it was all true. Jesus Christ will be coming back to earth soon. This video shows what might happen when he comes back. You need to be ready for his coming. This video will explain why. It dosen't get any better than this.

Summary: Apocalypse?
Review: The story line seemed to depict the biblical theme pretty well. I would rate the acting as so-so to okay. The music in the movie was good and very thought provoking. I feel it lacked enough special effects and the rapture scene seemed a bit unrealistic especially with the idea that the raptured people's clothes being "folded neatly" in a pile. I would expect if a person is raptured from their car - their shoes would not be neatly on the driver's seat on top of their clothes. Other than that it was quite enjoyable.
