Summary: A Great Movie!!!
Review: I have already seen this movie twice at the theaters. I was amazed on how well the movie was made. Lets face it, usually after an original movie comes out, everything after it usually isnt all that great. Pokemon is definitly the exeption. The story line of coming 40years into the future (into ashes time) with a time traveling pokemon was difinitly different, but thats what makes it so good. At least everything is an original with
pokemon. well it starts out in past with a young boy named sammy who ends up helping celebi get away from a pokemon hunter. well when sammy was running to get celebi as far away as he could, celebi used the last of his energy to time travel to ashes time. without getting to detailed, ash & friends come in contact with sammy & build a strong friendship, at the same time of restoring celebi's strengh, but then someone even worse than a pokemon hunter comes into play. he is the new member of team rocket. he catches celebi in a "dark ball" which turns pokemon evil. Now it is upto ash, sammy, suicune,& friends to help celebi & save the forrest, but can they do it... for the dramatic, heart stopping, yet inspirational ending, you need to go see it for yourself. I dont want to ruin it for you as it makes the movie worth seeing over & over again.

Summary: Knew the whole movie right from beganning
Review: I saw the movie the day it came out and when they frist started the movie I knew the whole movie right after Prof.Oak said a few words, it basicly told the whole movie about Celebi and u see Suicune in the movie. During the movie they introduce Croconaw for the first time and it was cool.
When I saw the preview of this movie when Pokemon 3 came out on DVD it showed a mini-movie with Pikachu but when they did not show it at all. That was only down fall of this movie-NO mini-movie of Pikachu. But in all and all the movie was awsome. If I could I would see it again. This was a movie that everyone should see if you are a pokemon fan or not then you should still go anyway and see it.

Now that it Pokemon 4ever is coming out DVD the mini-movie is too and it is call Pik-a-boo.( what kindof name is that). Also I want to see Pokemon 5 when it come out this year or next but I saw it and it looks awsome.

Summary: I loved it!
Review: I watched all 4 pokemon movies (5 was already released in Japan). This movie has big suprises in the end (when the ending song was playing). I loved the story and the pictures. I cannot wait to see the movie #5!!!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good Stuff
Review: I'm quite surprised that this is being released to theaters in this country. While it was a great success in Japan, I honestly expected this to be a straight to video release in the US.

I've seen this movie in Japanese with English subtitles and was quite pleased with it. The animation is excellent.

This movie has my favorite soundtrack of all 5 Pokemon movies (movie number 5 was released in Japan this past July) so I REALLY hope they don't mess it up for the English-language release like they have with the previous three movies.

See this! It's fun!

Summary: awesome!
Review: if you haven't watched it in theatres, this is the best chance for you to experience the awesomeness of the 4th installment of the movie series.

like all pokemon movies, the graphics in this one is stunning, you can even compare it with the Miyazaki movies (which have amazingly detailed backgrounds), the well rendered 3D CGs blend perfectly with the detailed 2D drawings, unlike some other animations where 3D looks bizzare in a 2D environment...

the storyline uses "time" as the central idea in this movie and with the creator's imagination, it creates twists and surprises for the audience... although I want to see more actions and more combats between the heroes and villains, since this is a movie for young views, I guess I can't complain too much...

the only downside of this movie is the music... there are just not enough musics in this movie, even if there are enough, the musics are not memorable... the ending theme is horrible, talking about a music without melody... but I suppose musics don't affect the feeling the story gives you that much, so with awesome graphics and creative storyline, it balances out to be a very good movie...

I give it a 5

Summary: Good DVD Movie--Summary by an *erhm* 8th grader
Review: Just another Pokemon movie...i guess...

If thats what you're thinking, you're wrong. Its a great movie for |children & POKEMON ADDICTS or Pokemaniacs & REAL anime lovers| only. Lets talk about literature you learned in grade school, OK?

First of all, the title is of course, Pokemon 4Ever, the 4 cleverly replacing the 'for' in the title and also representing the 4th movie made about Pokemon (notice: i didnt say 'by' because obviously Pokemon didnt make the movie). This movie is just about Celebi, a legendary Pokemon, who travels forward in time about 40 years. Sammy, a person who you know really well in the first episode (no im not giving who the person is away, you'll have to get it and see), travels along with Celebi and meets Ash. They do the usual "Hi! How are you?" and blah, blah, blah. SKIP BORING PART OF MOVIE --->
The climax and denouement are grouped together after 1 hour or so when Ash tries to feed Celebi. Since I come from an Asian background, the author and original artist of the drawing probably infered that Celebi had died when the berries dropped into the water. In Asia, esp Chinese and Japenese backgounded people say that when beads fall, you are dead. So, basically the berries symbolizes death. And ya, it isnt dead for long because it is revived by other Celebi, and Ash and Sammy depart. Ash is sad and thats the end of the story.

There was plenty of irony in the story, especially with Professor Oak. If you dont want me to ruin the story for you stop! Else Read on. Professor Oak is Sammy. And I know...WOW! what a transformation. But then the scientific aspect comes into view. What about that thing that said that you can't be in two places at once? Huh? There are lots of holes in the story if you're scientifically smart. But who gives...this is a definently good movie despite the holes. Although the denuement could be better, its an overall good movie to watch at MAX 3-4 times. It grows boring after the first time...trust me.

Summary: 5 yr old loves it!
Review: My son carried a flier around for weeks asking for this DVD. The Easter Bunny brought it and we've watched it daily since!! Honestly, I don't know all the Pokemon's names but have learned more about Ash (the name my son now insists I use when addressing him), Misty and Brock and what exactly it's all about. I've been entertained by it and so has my son!

If your child is a Pokemon fan, you can't go wrong with this!

Summary: How Dare They Copy Princess Mononoke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Not that any of the Pokemon movies are particularity great, but this was just disgraceful. The whole plot was just a huge ripoff of the animated masterpiece Princess Mononoke. For example the voice of the forest, or Celebi could make vines grow magically when it felt threatened hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder were they possibly got that from, another example, when the voice of the forest mutated into what seemed like godzilla made of trees it started to destroy the forest and every thing in its path, that seen was almost directly taken from Princess Mononoke except pokemon 4 ever used [bad] digital effects.
The rest of the plot basically repeats the other movies, Ash saves the world while Brock and Misty stand on the sidelines screaming "Dont do it Ash" god forbid they make Brock and Misty useful.Since I already started talking about the characters I might as well continue. As I said before Brock or Misty dont do anthing in this movie Ash and that stupid kid Sammy do everything, in fact the only time Brock and Misty played a part in the actual story was in pokemon 3, which turned out to be by far the best out of all the movies.
As for the animation it ..., as for the digital effects they ..., most of them were 2nd or 3rd rate at best.
All in all the music sucked the voice acting was pretty good and the story was a piece of..., as I said before How Dare the Ripoff Princess Mononoke.
