Summary: You've got to see it at least once in your life!
Review: I think I was six years old when I suffered the "ignominy" of being dragged into my first visit to the local cinema by my parents because my little sister so desperately wanted to see the Care Bears' Movie. I'd had no interest in the Care Bears before this time, as I had thought they were just for girls. However, I loved it - and I was absolutely captivated! Even now, some eighteen years later, I can't remember anything more memorable that I had the pleasure of viewing as a young boy.

This is a truly sensational movie! It brings back some great memories from my younger life (not least my massive crush on the lovely Share Bear!!!)

Keeping true with the Care Bears' aim stamping out hate, malice and hostility and encouraging love, kindness and friendship, this film could teach a lot to today's seemingly uncontrollable nation of loutish youths.

The main storyline centers around Nicholas, a lonely boy who goes about looking for friends but believes he may never find them, and who is fooled by the obnoxious Spirit Book to assist her in her plans to turn the world into a hate-zone. Enter the two orphans, Kim and Jason, who, with the help of the Care Bears and their animal friends (who subsequently become the Care Bear Cousins), convince Nicholas to turn his back on the Spirit Book. He ends the film as a changed man.

Add to that some excellent songs and some cooky side adventures along the way including the confrontation with a lion and the two orphans being kidnapped by an enemy tree (!!), the intellectual and interactive charm and the educational value of this film simply cannot be denied.

Good, clean, innocent fun for even the most cynical pair of young eyes - whether they belong to a girl or a boy.

Summary: I'm reviewing this on behalf of my ... daughter
Review: My ... daughter asked me to rent her the Care Bears movie for the evening. As a work-weary dad, I took that opportunity to grab a nap on the couch while she watched the movie.
I awoke at the end of the movie to my daughter's ravings about the Care Bears - I mean, she is a FAN.
But, I'm writing this review because of something she said that startled me. She said the movie made her "feel different inside". She just wanted to lay on the couch and enjoy that feeling. We talked about how the best movies, books, or music can do that to you.
Smarmy? As an adult, I have to agree... but I have a feeling my daughter will be watching Care Bears many times over.

Summary: My Kids Love This
Review: I just wonder if the reviewer who panned this movie actually has kids. Yes it's probably just an ad for Care Bears, and it's not the best plot ever, but my kids love this movie. They're 3 and 6, and they could watch this movie several times a day and never get tired of it. My guys don't seem to mind the thin story line, and it doesn't have a bad message. There's no questionable language or content, and these days that's a lot more than most "kid" movies can boast.

Summary: Care Bear Lover
Review: I'm a 1980 baby. I loved the Care Bears as a kid. We're currently decorating our new baby girls room, in the Care Bear theme. I've introduced them to our friends kids, ages 1-3 both boys and girls, and their all hooked. The kids are mesmorized by the Care Bears. They can't take their eyes off the screen. Same characters of the 80's. Teaches about sharing, caring, and friendship.

Summary: I wanted to be in that care bear family!
Review: I love this movie. this movie was the stuff when I was younger. I saw it recently and it was still good. A classic! The carebears have such a positive and beautiful message to tell children. And that is to love everyone. I love the carebears. they were the best thing in the 80's.

Summary: Creepy story, kinda cheesy
Review: I'm not a big prude or anything, but I thought all the stuff about evil forces and possession were a bit much for my 4 year old. I can definately see this causing some nightmares - Especially the part when the "possessed" or whatever child is chasing the other kids around the old abandoned carnival.... And this is all besides the obvious cheesy-ness of the movie itself. My child loved it, but I was uncomfortable with some of the themes.

Summary: Way too scary!
Review: I do not recommend this video for any child under the age of 10. Anyone 11 years and older won't be interested. Too many bad dreams!

Summary: REALLY hard on the eyes! -- Choose a VERY small screen!
Review: I first saw the colorful splendour of "The Care Bear Movie" in a trailer just prior to the theater release. In just 2 minutes I learned what it meant to "wish to be somewhere else". -- Seeing children watch the video over and over makes me feel that "somebody likes this cr...". To the mindset of a babbling toddler, the Care Bears must be like a good comedy drama would be to middle aged people. Personally I give this concept two thumbs down, but an extra * is given for the multitude of happy kids who adore these fantasy dweebs. Not my cup of tea, but hey, to each his own!**

Summary: The best Care Bear's Movie I've ever seen!
Review: I love this movie!! My older sister got this from our mom for a Easter present, and we watched it right away!! This movie is great for kids of all ages, I'm 12, and I loved it! :) I can't stop singing some of the song's, too! LOL. It's about a kid named Nicholas who doesn't have any friend's, and is possesed by a ... spirit, to make everyone in the world stop caring! When the Care Bear's, and they're new friend's Kim and Jason (who are visiting Care-A-Lot) find out, it's up to the Care Bear's to save the day!:)

This movie rock's, and I recommend this movie to any Care Bear fan, and for kids of all ages!
