Summary: Fantatic Movies!
Review: I haven't been a fan for that long, but ever since my cousin got me into these fantastic and imaginative movies, I had been looking all over for them on video. Finally it's released again! It would be great if they came out on DVD, but for now I'm happy to have them on VHS.

Summary: The 97 retouched edition of the classical trilogy on video.
Review: Many reviewers gave this product a low star rate because the trilogy wasnt released on DVD or because the trailer to episode II wasnt up to their expectations.

Those complaints *are* valid, but :

* Some people dont have DVD - they are students like me who have to settle for a video and a 14" TV and still want to have the trilogy available at home. VHS & DVD are two different products, and the lack of one doesnt change the other.

* This product is the trilogy on viedo cassetes, and the trailer is just a bonus. The trailer might be a disappointing, but it's still just a bonus - it's not the product itself.

Having said that, I think this is an excellent product - as far as VHS goes, the cassetes are of good quality and are worth the money for someone who just wants this product for what it is - 97 edition of the trilogy on video cassetes.

If you have the original trilogy and not really interested in the added scenes and retouches, feel free not to spend money and buy this new release - they really dont make a big difference.

Summary: Where's the Beta
Review: Forget DVD, I'm still waiting for Beta. I mean, what better way to view this amazing trilogy then on the technology that was available at the time of the original theater release?

Summary: Movies 5 stars. Re-release AGAIN?!?! No stars
Review: I might as well give my say as well. I'm tired of VHS. It's past time to release this excelent series on DVD. I know, I heard that Lucas says no DVD until they are all released. This puts the DVD release date in early 2006. That is crazy. Put them out NOW!!!

Summary: What a Joke
Review: I recently got the Trilogy and first thing I wanted to see was the preview of Episode 2 in which was so I thoght gonna be good. Boy was I wrong. It showed a quick inerview of Gorge Lucus and a C-3PO's voice Anthony Daniels. That was It. It was so bad I could have puked. Man I'm the sucker for buying it. Please forgive me when I say that it was poor. For as rich as Geroge Lucus is I would have thought that he would make the preview better then this

Summary: Vader's Lightsaber promo
Review: Have you bought the rerelease of the Star Wars trilogy that contains a playing card called "Darth Vader's Lightsaber"? I would like to buy it, so if you have the card, please contact me. I don't want to buy the trilogy because I already own another version. The movies are great of course, but I don't see the need for another rerelease. Where's the DVD version? It's already years late...

Summary: The Force Will Be With You...Always!
Review: Yes, George Lucas has done it again. And why not? This is one of the greatest trilogies ever made. No question. For any dedicated Star Wars fan, the extra Episiode II footage is worth buying the set again and while you're at it get the widescreen edition. There's just something about watching a movie in widescreen, and to Star Wars there is no exception. Also there are TEN, yes that's right TEN additonal, never before seen, cut from the original movie until now, fotage in Episode IV: A New Hope. And to top that all off, the way they put the boxed set together, along with the artwrok on the box, blows all the other cases away. Whether you saw the movies when they were released or you've never even seen Star Wars before, you can't pass up the opportunity to own one of the greatest trilogies of all time!
