Summary: Roar
Review: a young cub who can't wait to be king. his evil uncle plotting to dethrone the young cub and his father. This movie made me laugh, cry, and just give a cheer. The movie is about a young cub named Simba who is chosen to follow in his father's pawprints and become king of the jungle. But Simba's uncle Scar thinks that he should be king. With the help of the hyenas, Scar caused a group of wilderbests to stampede right were Simba was waiting. The scene is heart wrenching as we see Mufsa save his son only to die at the hands of his brother Scar. Scar then tells Simba that it was his fault that his father died and exciled him. With the help of Timon and Pumba, Simba lived a life of carefree, until the day his childhood friend, Nala came and tried to make him understand that he must return to the Pride Lands and take his place as king. With the help of Raffikee and his father's ghost, Simba did indeed return to the pride lands and defeated Scar. Of course Simba choose the lovely Nala to be his queen and together they had a cub that was one day to rule in Simba's place.

Summary: Really great
Review: I never thought that a simple Disney movie could make me cry, but actually, this one did. Don't ask me how, but it really happened, and the worst part is it happened again, and again and again.

This movie is probably better than all the other Disney movies. It is wonderfully drawn, better then any Disney animation. I never liked the fairy-tale Disneys, but this one... There are no words for its absolute great class...

Summary: A masterpiece
Review: This is easily Disney's best ever. It boasts superb animation, a high-ranking voice cast and a great, if somewhat Hamlet derivative story. All of the characters are quite interesting and amusing, particularly Rowan Atkinson as Zazu, a dorky bird. I remember when I first saw it at age seven, I didn't manage to appreciate quite how good it is. Some adults may think more of it than it's intended audience. If you haven't seen it, there is no excuse not to do so.

Summary: Disney Does It Again
Review: I think the Lion King is definetly a movie for everyone. The cubs are just like kids, going where the adults tell them not to. Always wanting to go have fun and play in the mud instead of getting a bath or lounging around. They learn the circle of life, how we all come and go. The lion is just like any other human father: Protective, wise, teaches the cubs things, fun, yet lays his life on the to save Simba. Simba wants to grow up so fast and become king. So, I personally think that people of all ages can relate to this in different ways.

Summary: Great for young and old
Review: While my two year-old niece's insistence to watch the film three times did get a little much for the adults, it is fun to watch.. and entertaining for the kids as much as the parents.

Summary: captivating video for kids
Review: Judging from the reactions of my grandson while he is viewing, I would say that The Lion King is fantastic! He just cannot get enough of it. He is only three, but he understands the story and sings along. He has many cartoon videos and always chooses this one first!

Summary: Better than "lady and the tramp"
Review: This movie was and still is the best animated movie of all time.it tells the story of Simba,a lion prince who "just can't wait to be king", he was having a great life in the pride lands where he lived until his father,Mufassa is killed by a set up stampede.simba, blaming himself runs away and meets Timon the merecat and Pumba the wart hog.they live together until simba's old childhood friend shows up and says that Simba's uncle Scar is..........i shouldent give away too much of the movie.if you've seen this movie you'll probobly want to buy it and mabee even buy "The lion king #2 Simba's pride" which is also a really good movie.

Summary: A very decent effort
Review: I did love "The Lion King" when I saw in the theatres upon its release, but I have a few concerns now that it is my two year old's favorite video. Many of the scenes do seem violent, especially the Hitler-like stance during the "Be Prepared" number. Also, this must set a record for the most times the word "KILL" has been uttered in a Disney film. I love this movie, but be careful who you show it to.

Summary: Nice and commical video which anamation brings to life!
Review: This was an excellent movie although I thought it could have been a little longer. The movies good points is that its got lots of music in two catagories background and songs. The animation also plays a vital role in this movie for it simbolises things that real life characters and scenes cannot create. The dialog was funny and comical sometimes a little bit dull. In some stages the movie can be a drag and you dont have a clue wats going on! The story is also so well written and put into animation that you can truly bear all the emotion with Simba that he is going through. The animation in this film is there for childrens delight but I think children might not follow and understand the story line so well,I would rather say an adult would enjoy this movie better. All in all Disney outdid themselfs.I can give them a rating of 5 stars with a smile on my face.
