Summary: Quite possibly the oddest characters I had ever seen
Review: Carpenter, who came up with the classic Halloween, brings out a film of odd yet funny characters. Most of the credibility of this movie goes to Kurt Russell and Carpenter's terrific music score. The demigods, especially the lightning guy, were fascinating to watch. The special efects were very effective, the lightning shooting out of his hands seemed as if it really was. Even the song, at the end of the film with the same name, was a song you couldn't help but like. Although sometimes it seems to lose focus, it is still quite fun. GRADE: B

Summary: Snake Pliskin he ain't...
Review: Kurt Russell plays against what for him had become type in a John Carpenter film which also plays against type.

This movie combines honest-to-goodness Chinese mythology with hilarious action-adventure and some of the best one-liners going. "...In fact, I feel kinda... INVINCIBLE!" From bad-tempered demigods to vampire ghouls, Russell and his costars battle their way across the pantheon of Chinese lore to rescue two girls with green eyes.

A must-see for anyone, and a must-have for Kurt Russell and/or John Carpenter fans... Plus, it has a REALLY COOL soundtrack too!

Summary: A drop dead hilarious movie that you cannot miss. A classic
Review: A great film. Big Trouble in Little China is a bit cheesy but thats what makes it one of the greatest movies. Every actor fit perfectly with their part. A great film to watch late Saturday night.

Summary: A top-class film which is a joy for anyone to watch
Review: This is one of the best films of the century. The storyline is excellent, and so is the acting. You cannot possibly fault it any way. I`ve seen this film about three times, and each time is as good as the first. A classic 5-star in many peoples` minds.

Summary: This movie is great, funny, exciting and classic Kurt Russel
Review: This is one of my all time favorites. I got tired of catching it on TBS, USA etc. I had to buy it. Kurt Russell is one of my favorites. If you like this you would also like OVERBOARD with Goldie Hawn. I think this is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. He is believeable and the story line (if you like martial arts, people jumping through the air and landing etc) you will really enjoy this movie. It's a movie that you can watch over and over again.

Summary: I WOULD GIVE IT A HUNDRED STARS IF I COULD.
Review: This has been my favorite movie for over five years and befor I bought it I must have spent over $100 renting it. Aside from incredible martial arts scenes and laugh-a-minute comedy this movie has so many cool things like Chinese Black Magic, amazing array of weaponry and a great cast.THis movie never grows old."It's all in the reflexes".

Summary: WAY OVERAPPRECIATED, TAME AND FLAT
Review: This film deserves far less respect than it has gotten. The effects are mostly obvious and stiff. The acting and one liners are predictably delivered. Still, its all fine fun, but its just not great. Its not nearly as good as a Peter Jackson or Sam Raimi movie. Better yet, Big Trouble was inspired by Zu: Warriors from Magic Mountain by Tsui Hark in 1983, wich had better effects on a lower budget and is far more interesting.

Summary: This is increadible
Review: This movie is great. It is completely hilarious, and just perfect for a late night with a bunch of crazy friends.

Summary: It's criminal that no letterbox is available...
Review: A great action comedy, with so many colorful details that I can't list them all here. Favorite scene (not a comedic one!): David Lo-Pan recalling his youth: "A young man, a king, a warrior..." Why can't they make more movies like this?
