Summary: A-1 entertainment!
Review: It's too bad that the teens don't get eaten in the beginning of the movie. Stupid college people drinking beer underage and listening to "music". Happily, a shark escapes the facility and begins to much on the boat. Along comes Thomes Jane and pumps 300000000cc's of some tranquilizer stuff into the shark. The financial backer of the experiment, Russel Franklin (Samuel L Jackson), is a bit concerened becuase if he doesn't see results in 2 days, he'll lose about 200 million dollars. So he decideds to visit the facility himself to see what the heck's going on. He hops on board a sea plane, and arrives at Aquatica. Soon after, one of the most entertaining action sequences follows his arrival. Starting at the experiment and ending at the largest movie explosion I have ever seen. The movie is worth seeing just for that. Excellient movie, great cast, wonderful action, and memorable porformances.

Summary: Good movie, Great DVD (especially for this price)
Review: Just live every other movie, some people like the movie and some don't. I personally enjoyed it. It made me just a few times, worry about the characters, and feel good at the end. That is all I wanted from it, and that is all I got. The DVD version of the movie is excellent. Aside from the great video and audio quality, we get a commentary (includes Samuel L. Jackson for part of it), 2 short making-of specials, deleted scenes, photo stills, and some extra DVD-ROM content. At the price it is being offered at, it is well worth getting this movie. If you're not sure you'll like it, rent it first.

Summary: Best summer movie of '99
Review: Deep Blue was the best movie I saw all summer. The best shark movie since Jaws. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, and I jumped more than once. In fact, in one seen I think the whole movie theatre jumped, I know the two guys next to me did. Samuel L. Jackson's acting was horrible, but you get into the other characters. LL adds humor to the film. Deep Blue Sea is one to see and even own. I do not like all of the computer animation in movies now, but the animated sharks did not really bother me, they looked pretty real, except in a few scenes.

Review: It's a fun movie that takes many twist's and turns! But not in a scream fashion. Like all Harlin movies, it paced very well. So seat back and give it a chance without thinking too hard! You wont be dissapointed!

Summary: Jaws?
Review: This movie tries to out-do the classic suspense of Jaws, but fails in bringing real tension to the screen. You can only watch people getting ripped to shreads by mechanical looking sharks for so long before it becomes repetitive. So much for restraint. Watching this, I found myself rooting for the sharks, because even though mechanical, they had much more personality than the human characters.

Review: I love a thriller, I love a great plot, I enjoy believable acting. I HATED THIS FILM. Oh dear me, our ethnic and sexually balanced team are stuck 4 levels deep under the sea, and we have a number of rather predictable obsticles to get past in order to survive.. and has anyone noticed that we are loosing exactly 1 team member to a CG Shark per level. I should have walked out of this film after the first 5 minutes. Move over "Lawnmower Man II", all hail the worst film ever "Deep Blue Sea".

Review: WOAH!! I was mesmorized by this movie!! COntrary to what I've been hearing, the performances delivered in this masterpiece of a movie (notably by Jackson) were wonderful. I believe Jackson gave his very best performance in it. The plot was totally believeable, the sharks were terrifying, and the effects, like the huge explosion, were well mastered. See the movie, buy the movie, be happy. The music provided by Trevor Rabin was superb!!! SEE THIS MOVIE!!!

Summary: This movie was the scariest action movie of the year!
Review: I thought this movie was great. It combined great special effects, good acting, and great action. All the action scenes were inventive and scary. Plus it was very unpredictable as to who dies and in what order.I saw this movie twice in the movie theaters, and I loved it both times. In its own way it is just as good as Jaws. I though it was much scarier than The Blair Witch Project and The Sixth Sense.

Summary: A Great Fun Thrill Ride
Review: This movie was great. I saw it twice in the theaters and loved it both times. It doesn't follow the "rules" of a monster or disaster film which makes it great. You can expect the unexpected. Way better than Jaws as well.
