Summary: Matrix Reloaded kicks Butt!!!!
Review: Matrix Reloaded is the most awesome sci-fi movie of 2003! It has action, romanance, and of course Matrix sci-fi stuff. The first movie in the Matrix triology was seen as something that couldn't be beat. Suprisingly, Matrix Reloaded beats it. I recommend this to everyone and you won't regret it. The ending (which I won't spoil for you guys) is just such a mystery it will leave you craving for Matrix Revolutions which comes out next month?!?! Matrix Reloaded is a movie that everyone will like, so go rent or buy it.

Summary: The Wachowskis did it again
Review: OK, yes, the first time i saw this movie, i thought it couldn't stand anywhere near the first one. However i went with a few different friends and eventually saw this movie three times in the theaters, and have since seen this alot since i bought the dvd. As with The Matrix, The Matrix: Reloaded doesn't make any sense and seems like nothing more than fights and elongated scenes, but if you look deeper into the movie, such as the Architect scene, and REALLY listen to what the Merovingian says, so much more answers as to what the matrix is are revealed, and, as usual, double the questions. This movie connects the dots for many of the questions you asked during the first movie, and also raises some new questions. Yes, The Wachowskis did make the fight scenes more numerous and longer this time around, but can you blame them considering how many people would not stop saying "I know Kung Fu" and raving about the fight scenes in the first one? For all the nay-sayers out there who watch it once and completely crap all over it, watch it again and again and look deeper than what you have been looking, because there is real substance there, and just like the first one, it takes so much more than just one viewing to realize how amazingly well written these movies are.

Summary: My DVD player does not like this DVD
Review: My DVD player will play the bonus features DVD, but it keeps rejecting the feature film DVD. Anyone else having this trouble? Does it have to do with Warner's decision not to encode anti-piracy protection onto the film DVD?

About the movie: I saw Matrix Reloaded twice in theatres, and enjoyed discussing it for weeks. It has flaws, but who else out there besides the Wachowskis tries to put so much into their films? (Peter Jackson does... but who else?) Call this sequel pretentious or whatever ... but I call it a good effort, and great eye candy. (And in any event, what else are you gonna do to fill your time until May 2005, when you get to watch the suckers camp on the sidewalk for a month just so they can be the first people disappointed by George Lucas' final Star Wars puppet show movie?

For such a "groundbreaking" movie as Matrix Reloaded, I would have appreciated more behind-the-scenes material, with slower, less intelligence-insulting edits, and more detail. (I would have paid for a third DVD of such extras.) Overall though, "Matrix Reloaded" belongs in your sci-fi collection.

Summary: Can't take it anymore.
Review: Film is art and everyone has a different taste for art. Some people like it some people don't. That I can handle. What I can't handle is people dismissing this movie as bad because they didn't get the intricacies of it. If you didn't take the time to understand it, don't review it. Please. Virtually every scene in this movie is there because it is pertinent to the overall story. Even the big action scenes are there for a reason. You appreciate the CGI scenes or you don't. I have no problem with that. But most of the plot "flaws" the majority of the negative reviewers here keep pointing to are not flaws at all. They're the meat of this movie. The Architect, Oracle, Merovingian, and Smith scenes are what make this movie unique and good. You're not meant to grasp it all on your first viewing. I certainly didn't. But there IS a reason why the scenes are there. Its all explained. All of it. Connect the dots and I think most of your opinions of this movie will improve tremendously. I look forward to Revolutions so much because I took the time to appreciate and understand the first two movies. But like I said, its art, and some people want it on a silver platter or not at all. I don't claim to know it all but i'll tell you in my opinion this was a damn good movie. 5 out of 5.

Summary: This is Science Fiction PEOPLE!!!
Review: I'm so sorry to strongly disagree with the bad reviews here. C'mon people, this a science fiction movie, WHAT did you expect? Realism? Go get a Discovery Channel DVD then!! If you ever saw the first episode of The Matrix, you may remember that the movie is about an UNREAL WORLD, where every single natural rule can be broken by the "ONE" (that's Neo). This is a GREAT science fiction movie, for those who didn't like it, well, they obviously didn't like Superman, Batman, Star Wars and Spiderman either, right? So, you people ARE NOT into Science Fiction. I don't like romantic movies, so I keep myself away of those kind, and you can imagine that obviously, my review about a romantic movie will always be useless.

Summary: Waste of my time
Review: Total disapointment at its worst. Too many fight scenes and not enough intellegent script. The fight scene between neo and the agents became so boring; that I went out for a cup-a. The highway scent was totally pathetic, and un realistic. Probably the worst part of the movie was all the love sick babble in the first 30 minutes of the movie. If I could give a 0 star; I would

Summary: Why Are People Worried About the Story?
Review: This is an action movie, who cares what it is about? The effects are well done and the choreography is top-notch. Why is everyone confused about Neo being able to fly? He is the One, he can control the Matrix to a certain extent.

Oh yeah... this is supposed to be a review of the dvd....

Summary: A Great Disappointment
Review: This movie has way too many fighting sequences that, in my opinion, only serve to try and detract the viewer from the absence of an intelligent script. Furthermore, many aspects of the movie did not make sense. For example, the viewers first glimpse of the control room (looking so organised and futuristic) gives the impression that Zion is going to look similar in appearance. This was not so, and left me confused, as did numerous other scenes that I will not mention in this review. Neo flying everywhere? There was too much of that. And can the writers explain the reasons (apart from a deliberate attempt to extend the film) for some of the senseless dialogue? The whole trouble with this movie is that too much emphasis was placed on special effects and not enough credit was given to the intelligence of its intended audience. Many people waited for this sequel only to sit down to a great disappointment. It is a terrible thing to walk out of a cinema discussing the things you hated about a movie you've just seen, don't you think? I already wasted good money on the tickets. I'm not about to purchase the DVD.
