Rating: Summary: For all you Athas lovers out there. Review: This is the movie you want to see if you even remotely like the campaign world Dark Sun. This is probably the only movie that even comes close to showing a up close and personal view of the world of Athas. This movie didn't have much of a budget, but most great movies start out that way. The acting was great, and the talent was well chosen. I have always liked Rutger Hauer and I think he did an excellence job in this flick. If you like post apocolytpic themes than this is the movie for you, and even if you don't I would still give it a once see.
Rating: Summary: If you liked Max Max, you'll love Sallow in Blood of Heroes! Review: With minimal dialogue and great acting, Rutger Hauer and Joan Chen keep you on the edge of your seat. It's a movie you'll want to share with your friends over and over again. Team sports fans will become jugging fanatics after the first viewing and beg for more!!
Rating: Summary: It Exceeds the Limitations of its Genre! Review: Yes, it's a post apocalyptic SPORTS movie, but don't let that throw you. The action is FANTASTIC (directed by Guy Norris -- friend of Chuck?), the plot does its job, and the actors are excellent. The setting goes far beyond Mad Max or Thunderdome, to bring you a haunting original vision of a futuristic wasteland in which the only glory, the only pleasure, and the only salvation is The Game. See it. You won't regret it. (Unless you're a wuss.)
