Summary: Immature. A pure money maker out to capture the box office.
Review: This movie sets out to do what so many other filmmakers are doing these days: make money, and lots of it. It tries its best to add to an already stale storyline by including a short and precocious love story, but alas, it fails. The special effects are good, which is expected from a potential blockbuster.

This movie successfully shoved a sad and weak Deep Impact out of the way to prove to be 1998's best apocalypse/action/fantasy/romance/comedy/wannabee-a-blockbuster-shelfstacker movie of the year. If it weren't for Steve Buscemi's hilarious performance, this video would have garnered only 1/2 star.

Summary: Has anyone taken a physics class????
Review: Okay lets get this straight no one on earth knew this asteroid was coming, right? However, it was supposedly going to hit in a week or so. Now, they said that the gravity on the asteroid was about that of the moon - 1/6 of earths gravity, therefore, the asteroid was approximately the size of the moon - correct.. refer to F=ma in your physics books. And NOONE on earth could see it? Yeah, that's believable!! Now, I don't know what was funnier, the fact that after the astronauts face shield cracked, his body totally stayed intact (instead of exploding which would have happened due to the pressure difference); or that the shuttle was bombarded with debris and it was okay. The space shuttle is flying about 17,000mph in space along with the asteroid and other rocks, so when the space shuttle collides head on with debris, this 17,000 mph is doubled, creating quite an impact....a rock the size of a golf ball would do pretty extensive damage - which is why we don't launch the space shuttle during meteor showers! The fact that there were explosions and fire in space, which doesn't have an atmosphere, was an added bonus; along with the astronaut who was going to shoot the other astronaut while they were both on the space shuttle in space - yeah that wouldn't have blown a hole in the shuttle killing them all!!! Other than these minor details the movie was alright. Obviously, there had to be good acting to make any of this remotely believable!

Summary: The BEST film of 1998.
Review: As far fetched as most of us may think this movie may be, it might have some real truth to it. The special effects are fantastic and some a little farfetched. The constant emtional roller coaster that you are put on keeps you on the edge of your seat constantly. GREAT JOB!!

Review: Special effects, heart-warming emotion, adventure, humor, an excellent score by Trevor Rabin--all in one spectacular film! This is definitely a Michael Bay / Jerry Bruckheimer classic. I don't care what the critics say!

Summary: 1998's #1 Powerful, Suspenseful, Breath-Taking Tear-Jerker!!
Review: This movie deserves 10 stars! I can't remember the last time I saw movie that moved me the way Armaggedon did! Bruce Willis gives us, yet another, award-winning performance with his extra-ordinary acting abilites, and witty sense of humor all wrapped up into one action-packed, edge-of-your-seat, heart-wrenching, dramatic thriller! The beautiful love story between Ben Affleck and Liv Tyler was a perfect fit! With it's awesome sound effects, this is one movie I will enjoy watching over and over!!
