Summary: Enjoyable no brainer.
Review: I enjoyed this film. I read a review in one of the English newspapers (Mail on Sunday) recently that panned the film as boring and lacking in plot but the Hulk is BIG, green and he smashes things which, lets be frank, is what you want from the Hulk. Its a no brainer for sure but so what, every film doesn't have to be exam material. There are times when the CGSFX make the Hulk seem a little like Morph from Take Hart (this will mean more to English readers than non English) especially when he's moving through the desert but overall I was certainly rooting for him and look forward to the sequel, I'd like to see him take on his arch nemesis the Rhino.

Summary: Its sort of like the Hulk
Review: Why not take the story of Hulk's origin, as its been written for years, and dramatize that? What is the point of making up a new origin for the movie? So right off the bat the primary fans this movie aims for have been diss'd. And I suspect most people were put off by opening the movie with 5 minutes of laboratory experiments on animals. The only thing that kept me from being completely turned off by the first 20 minutes of the show were the cool new film editing transitions. And the comic style multi-panel effects on screen were often fascinating and only occasionally pointless and distracting.
The whole thing with Hulk's dad seemed invented just to set up the final fight. The fight was done well although his mutant dogs were clearly not as well animated. But the character of the Hulk was just as it should be. Aside from the fact that the Hulk is supposed to be able to talk, that is. The Hulk's animation really did carry the movie though. I just wish Ang had resisted the temptation to turn him into the not-so jolly green giant. 10 feet tall? Okay, I'll buy that. But 15 feet tall? That was unnecessary and just further took the character away from the Hulk as he's existed in 40 years worth of comics. All in all it was an extremely well done movie that should have respected the fans more with some faithfulness to Hulk history.

Summary: I loved this movie
Review: I thought I'd hate this movie but its really good. All the actors are brilliant but Eric Bana is especially good.(Eric Bana is always brilliant see Black Hawk Down and Chopper). The reason I thought I'd hate this movie was the computer animation but it is very good and doesn't detract from the story which has more 'weight' than its contempories. A very good movie.

Summary: I saw it 3 times and I love it.
Review: I love the C.G.I. so much. I really love looking at the Computer Generated Monster.I love the fight scene with the dogs. Eric Bana plays the scientist who transforms into The Hulk. Jennifer Connely plays Betty Ross his exgirlfriend who believes him. Sam Elliot plays her Father. A general who wants to destroy him. Josh Lucas plays Glenn Talbot. The evil guy who wants to take The Hulk's DNA to create soldiers who can heal their own wounds. Nick Nolte plays David Banner. The evil dad who was not to be seen for 30 long years. Unlike " SUPERMAN,THE X-MEN,BATMAN,SPIDER-MAN,DAREDEVIL and THE PUNISHER" The Hulk first gets mad at people and turns all green. The ending for some reason got a little disappointing. And here's why. Because Nick Nolte's character first meets his son and turns into some bizarre mammet play. And they were screaming and yelling at each other and Nick Nolte bites the plug and electricutes himself. But like I said,Ilove this movie.

Summary: Wow!
Review: A Scientist named "Bruce Banner" ( Eric Bana) has always had anger in him that would one day be relase. But now, he has been contaminated with ganma rays that is changing his life not to mention his clothes whenever anger strikes and turns him into a larger than life green giant called " The Hulk", who is really a good guy but only hurt those who torment him. The casting was excellent ( Jennifer Connely as Betty Ross, Sam Elliot as General Ross, Nick Nolte as David Banner, and Eric Bana as Bruce Banner), acting was good and the special effects by ILM are great! this movie does stay true to the comics and truly ranks with the other Marvel adaptations like " Spider-Man", "X-Men", " Blade 1 & 2", " X2" and "Daredevil"and yet is far superior to the terrible " Captain America" flick. Can't wait for " The Punisher" ( 2004), " Fantastic Four", " Ghost Rider", " Man-Thing", " Iron Fist" and " Spider-Man II".

Summary: make a good comic movie!
Review: the last time there was a good comic movie was in the 80's and early 90's with THE PUNISHER and CAPTAIN AMERICA.All because there wasn't very much romance and there was good action.Now about the hulk.Not a very good movie (better than flash gordon and some of those latter superman movie's)and you don't see much of the hulk for about a hour.I am not a very picky person (obviously if i like cap and punisher) but ang lee should stick to crouching dragon hidden tigger and leave comic book movies to the other lee.STAN! But i am a sucker to comick movies so i will most likely buy this for dvd.Bye All!

Summary: Most ambitious comic adaptation yet
Review: The Hulk is an odd film to see in the summertime. Usually you get formula action films with this kind of a budget. I'm not sure who the projected audience was but I was very surprised when I saw this monster on opening night. I expected something fun, but dumb, like Spiderman. But instead I saw an ambitious Greek style epic with decent acting and a fun plot. Alot of people complained that you don't see the Hulk for the first forty-five minutes. Perhaps they just want two hours of smashing, I don't know. In any case, they editing is a marvel to look at and the story has far reaching implications. The comic panels on the screen might not be for everyone but I thought that it was great to see Ang Lee try something different. I sure hope it's done in the second film as well, assuming there is a second film. This is the most interesting comic adaptation I have ever seen. After Spiderman, Daredevil, and X-men it's nice to see something different. This film seems to know that we have all seen alot of comic movies lately and it trys to get us into the theatre by being different, in a positive way. Nick Nolte does a brilliant job as Bruces father and is always a joy to watch. I don't even like the Hulk as a comic but this movie is fantastic.

Review: Everyone feels anger at one point or another, and everyone has his or her own way of dealing with it. For geneticist Bruce Banner, that way is to transform into a green, 15-foot tall behemoth that can smash through walls, lift army tanks into the air, and deflect bullets as though they were peas. This unique method of anger management is the focus of the latest comic-inspired movie to arrive at theaters, "The Hulk." Throughout the course of the film, Banner is forced to discover his disturbing family history, which includes his father's self-imposed genetic mutations that were later passed down to him, thus allowing Banner to become the Hulk when placed under emotional stress. The movie also examines Bruce's emotional conflict between the part of him that fears what he has become- and the part of him that likes it. Two years ago director Ang Lee gained international acclaim with his martial-arts epic "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon." Now he has taken an unexpected step by agreeing to direct "The Hulk." The film is based on the immensely popular Marvel comic strip, "The Incredible Hulk," which was created by Stan Lee. While in the original strip it was Bruce's exposure to gamma radiation that allowed him to mutate into the Hulk and in the film it is genetic mutation, the basic Jekyll/Hyde concept behind the storyline remains the same. Filled with well-choreographed action sequences and comic-book style transitions and split-screens, "The Hulk" is a visually dazzling spectacle. But what truly sets this film apart from its counterparts is the quality of the actor's performances and the surprising levels of emotion that they manage to invoke. While this is hardly any surprise from Academy Award-winner Jennifer Connelly, both Eric Bana and Nick Nolte also turn in impressive performances as Bruce Banner and his father, respectively. The movie usually manages to flow along at a comfortable pace, carried by its storyline and its wonderfully composed musical score. However, despite these exceptional qualities, the movies tends to stagnate just a bit here and there as a result of one-too-many psychoanalyzing conversations. My only true complaints involve the Hulk himself, who, despite heroic efforts on the part of the movie's special-effects team, never quite reaches the level of realism required by such a film. This slight lack of realism occasionally distracts from the actual movie, at which point it becomes a disadvantage to the film. Aside from that (and a slightly random ending), "The Hulk" is among the best and most groundbreaking comic-inspired movies to come along in some time. Fans of the comic strip and newcomers alike should approve.

Review: Although this film may appear to Hulk fans as a diss-of-a-film sort of movie, "Hulk" is actually very good if you're not constantly comparing it to the original comics and the television shows. I saw Jennifer Connely as one of the better people starring in this film, and Nick Nolte was hysterical as the overdriven father. I thought the split screen was sometimes annoying, but at times (such as the electricution of Bruce), it was very interesting and useful. Overall, I'd say that Hulk is worthy of a 4.5 star rating because of some very minor flaws, but I just think its good and I actually liked it better than Spiderman...

Summary: The Hulk is SMASHING!!
Review: Man the Hulk is out of this world! This movie is awesome and I hope Hulk 2 is too. Here the story is not as difficult as some stupid people are saying it is because they don't have the brains enough to get it. Basically,the father of Bruce,David Banner,was experimenting and one day he tested it on himself by ingecting some molecule expander and then he had Bruce. So obviously he passed some copies of the molecule expander to Bruce. Now in the present,Bruce a teenage colleauge boy,is making a project in gamma radiation that should not be tested in humans becuase it's absolutely dangerous. Then one day,another guy(which I don't remember his name)is fixing the machine and clicks a wrong cable on and the machine is going to let go huge amounts of gamma radiaton that could kill any human except Bruce and David Banner who can't die because of the formula that remains dormant in their bodies. But since David isn't there Bruce goes and gets the guy out of the room and tries to fix the machine but,he's too late and he is given lots of amaounts of radiation. So the formula of molecule expanding being dormant all these years in his body is woken up and protects him from death but gives something almost as bad,his green personality "The Hulk." Yes I know the story was changed from the story in the series and the stories in the comics but,they did that with Spider-Man and it ended up being cool just like they did withthis one.
