Review: Blind in his youthfulness throught his father a child within aggressives other children begin to develop very many others senses whitch make of him a isolated human prodigy but also he defelop a considerable physical force and become an acrobat fighther very much rapid (interpreted by BEN AFFLECK) the death of his father has marked his mind forever ! But the justice is with him for him in his himself side as much as the confidence and he has a friend who's a priest, a padre who tempt to deter him to make his own equity ! He has an other big friend who's not his confident ! He don't know every thing well-chosen of his partner ! THEN, at the firs time of this splendid movie wie can quantify the prospective of the hero who will be blinded to make order in his community, neighbourhood wich is a permanent danger for every body mostly the feebles ! He want and he will protecting them at aby moment when the night is ! But the police suspect time after time witch a prodigy human is in action, also a certain reporter who's malicious after the first part, this not the same thing for the hero because many strongs men witch are also prodigy in speed or foce and cogency as much as the incredible actor who's MICHAEL CLARKE DUNCAN and his bad accomplice the shooter, in same time he discover some love with a splebdid girl who's not realy a pretty woman ! Suddenly she lose his father and promise to avenge him even if her life depend of that THIS MOVIE HAS NOT DEAD TIME.... NEVER ! THE ACTORS ARE PERFECTS RGE STORY IS PERFECT EVERY THING IS PERFECT THIS IS A PERFECTIONWITH MANY FLASH BACK I'VE LIKED ITS WONDERFULLY INTERPRETED THE ......... MUST OF THE MUST OF THESE SPLENDIDS COMICS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: I thought Affleck was great in "Phantoms". He's horrible in this role. He wasn't a very convincing blind person.
It actually started of pretty good but went downhill quickly.
When the Jennifer Gardner character was introduced it went from dumb to dumber. She is a lame actress. I guess she fit the suit.
Don't let Hollywood fool you by putting a couple of big names in the movie and trying to pass it of as a legitimate effort.
The movie is horrible. I couldn't finish it.
I left 3/4 of the way through it to mow the yard, in the dark.

Review: Originally I didn't have high hopes for this movie, but I really liked it. Great twist to the "hero" movies. I would recommend this movie, and the soundtrack to this movie. Both are great!

Review: I usually like superhero movies, but I found Daredevil to be just unpleasant to watch. Almost completely bereft of sympathetic characters (maybe Jon Farveau's character was okay), poorly structured, not involving at all, and Good Lord, I just wanted to slap Ben Affleck's holier-than-thou lawyer across the courtroom for being so self-righteous ("I only represent the innocent", he says...but it's okay for him to murder in cold blood...puh-leeze!!!). Far and away the best thing about this movie was Colin Farell's character of Bullseye. If you want to watch a good superhero movie, try one of the X-Men films or Spiderman.

Review: I've been a Daredevil fan for a long time, and I feel the movie is treated unfairly. It is often compared to Spider-Man. Why?? Daredevil is nothing like Spider-Man. He's a vigilante out to settle scores. He also has his share of relatable flaws, something that the wallcrawler lacks. The character has always been more believeable than other overrated boy scouts in colorful tights so its time to give the devil his due and cut him some well deserved slack.

Review: To quote an unjust review "Daredevil is not much of a superhero..then again, Ben Affleck is not much of an actor..!" Daredevil is one of Marvel Comics mainstays in their stable of characters, but outside of the comicbook industry, is not that well known. About a boy who is blinded by an accident at childhood while doused with a radioactive isotope, then gaining super heightened senses and sensitivity. He grows up to become a lawyer by day, and crimefighter by night. Daredevil has been called one of many "a poor man's Batman" .A nifty movie with high production values, DAREDEVIL succeeds on several levels and the Ben Affleck backlash is totally unfair. Ben Affleck came to the San Diego ComicCon 2002 during post-production to talk about the film along with the director and producers. He was familiar with the character stating he read the work of comicbook innovator Frank Miller's (Batman/THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS) take/run (writing/art) on the DAREDEVIL character back in the 80's. So,it was nice to know that Affleck had familiarity and was not in the film for merely a paycheck. The only drawback of the film is that it suffers from the Batman Movie syndrome by putting too many characters (villians, support characters from the comic books etc) in the movie. The Kingpin (Michael Clarke Duncan) was not fully developed as was the Elektra character (Jennifer Garner). Though, they were great on the screen. This left room to develop the Matt Murdoch character and Affleck is teriffic along with his relationship with his law partner Frankie"Froggie"Nelson (Jon Favreau). There is the Bullseye (the versatile and chameleon..Collin Farell, who seems to be in a movie being released every month) who comes out of the gates full throttle, and Joe Pantoliano as reporter Ben Ulrich. The plot of the film revolves around Daredevil wanting to rid the crime around New York City's "Hell's Kitchen" slum area and getting in the way of the Kingpin's plans for control of that part of the city. Daredevil/Matt meets Elektra along the way as her father works for the Kingpin. Pretty basic stuff, but the film succeeds because it was pretty much faithful to the source material, the atmosphere was kept dark and moody (which is what Batman fans wanted, and didn't get in the dreadful BATMAN AND ROBIN), the casting was excellent, and the production values were first rate.

Review: The Daredevil DVD has lots of cool special features (2 disks worth!), and is a good movie too.Fans of the comic won't be let down, and people who liked Batman should probably like Daredevil. It's a darker movie than Spider-Man, but is still very good.
