Summary: I was very disapointed in this
Review: I don't understand. Am I the only one in the world that found this film a crashing bore?

And I mean crashing. I had to put toothpicks under my eyelids about 10 minutes into the film to keep from falling asleep.

We are thrust into one situation right after another, with very little or no time for character development. I found myself leaving the theatere empty and disapointed, while nearly everyone else was sobbing thier eyes out.

This was done much better in 1982. It was called E.T.

This film should be saved for posterity as a torture device for Droogs when we reach the time "A Clockwork Orange" is set in.

Summary: Myra Breckenridge for the new millennium
Review: A.I. utterly fails at eveything it attempts to do, but in 20 years, it may have some camp appeal. It does prove that it's impossible to make a film about what it means to be human when you've lost touch with that years/millions ago.I do hope everyone even remotely involved with it wins armloads of Oscars (dressed like Blue Fairies) so that they feel fulfilled and special and loved and unique and then leave the rest of us alone forever.

Summary: a masterpiece
Review: this is the best movie of the year and is one of the best movies ever created. You have a movie created by the two best directors of all time. It is the most realistic fiction of all time for now. to where it will soon be called fact on the path that we are headed. the emotions are so accurate. i believe that this movie will be the best movie of the year and haley joel osment will be credited with the best actor award in both the golden globes and the oscars.

Summary: Thought Provoking
Review: I saw A.I. one week ago tonight. I have been thinking about it every hour or so since.

Yes, there are three parts to the movie - all Spielburg, zero Kubrick. The final part, when the aliens come, is the best part. It is the message. To my knowledge, this is the first time we have ever witnessed another intelligent life form celebrate the greatness of humans. Isn't that Spielburg's true message here - that we should all be happy, proud, and thankful that we can think, express ourselves so incredibly well through the arts, and truly feel and express love...life? David is great because he embodies the greatness, the uniqueness of mankind.

No one seems to have picked up the significance of David going to sleep after spending the best day of his existence. Think about it. Watch the entire movie closely. David goes to sleep!

Too long? Are you kidding? My wife and I never thought the movie dragged or that precious scenes could be cropped. Next time, eat before going to the movies and don't plan anything after the movies. We can hardly wait for the Director's Cut DVD which I hope ADDS footage.

If Haley Joel Osment does not win the Golden Globe for Best Actor it will just be another awards show that I'll have to stop watching. I've already given up on the Oscars. This is one of the greatest single acting performances of the history of film much less the 21st century. As good as Robert Downey Jr. in Chaplin.

And one other thing. The aliens wanted to give David what he wanted. Neat. I mean, David had only wanted it for two centuries! So they gave it to him. Was that really Monica or the essence of her? Could they really bring back a human for a day? WHO CARES? The aliens just wanted to give David what HE wanted in payment for David giving them what they wanted so they gave him what he wanted! Learn from it. What a beautiful and timeless story. Thank you Stephen Spielburg!

Summary: great movie!
Review: This is another outstanding film from director Steven Spielberg. In certain parts of the movie, you can sense Kubrick's version of the movie. Spielberg adds his own elements to the film. Some people criticize it for being depressing. Forrest Gump was depressing and everybody loved that. The futuristic setting made the movie much more interesting than I expected the movie to be. I also compliment Spielberg for using more animatronically created robots than just a CG image for most of the film. It makes the movie a lot more believable. Haley Joel Osmont and Jude Law played their roles equally great. Do yourself a favor and go see this movie!

Summary: READ MY REVIEW! IT'S SO TRUE........
Review: This is a GREAT MOVIE!I love the scenery, the acting is Outstanding! And it's also very touching. That Haley Joel Osment...he kills me!He can act so GOOD!!Let me tell you a scene: There is a part were David's Mom puts her fingers in back of his neck and starts to say some words,Anyway David haves a big smile on his face and as she starts to say some more words his smile slowly goes away. There are a bunch of other good actings scenes too!The teddy is neat!! First glance at him you think he's probaly got a little squeaky voice.....Well,your Wrong! He has a big deep voice!! First, time I heard him I was Like WOW!! He sounds like an adult!! The teddy is as intelligent as the Humans!! He is like a real actor!!Anway, this is a very good movie!! I'm probaly going see it again today!!My advice:Parents if your child is under {13}!! Don't go take him or her to see the movie!! They have two scenes that are unapropiate for little kids. This is NOT A DISNEY MOVIE!!The reason I'm saying this is because some guy that gave his review threw a FIT ,because he didn't like a scene!!He took his ten year old son to go see it.YA!DOY!IT is {PG13}!!Read the ratings next time!! Anyway,I love this Movie!! I give it three stars for plot, four stars for acting, and four stars for the scenery!!

Summary: This is a terrible movie that I really wanted to like
Review: I went to A.I. the first weekend having only the professional critics reviews to go on. I wanted so badly to love this movie and was sadly disappointed. This is a terrible movie. Spielberg is so busy paying tribute to Pinocchio, Wizard of Oz, Clockwork Orange and even a bit of his own Empire of the Sun and Close Encounters, that the film quickly becomes a muddled mess. While it is visually stunning, I was completely uninvolved with the characters--didn't particularly find the robot boy played so well by Haley J. Osmet to be compelling enough for me to root for. Disneys Pinochhio almost puts me to sleep everytime I see it as did A.I. The ending is completely illogical.

Summary: Huge Letdown
Review: This will be a huge letdown for all, especially those who are fans of Spielberg and Kubrick's work. At first you wish that you could have gotten to know some (of the many) characters better or or at least focus on some of the developing relationships, then you just wish it would end already. This is what happens when talented people have too many toys and storylines than they can handle.
