Review: I've panned everyone of the Star Trek Movies, because they were thoughtless and boring, but Star Trek: Insurrection is diffrent it has a better villian , better fight scenes, and more importantly good visual scenes, but it wasn't that good, but it does deserve a standing orvation.

Summary: Alot of action and drama,the plot and some aspects need work
Review: I think that the movie was well thought out, some parts could have used some work, but I don't care for the Federation being displayed as "weak". Most people are fans because of the Federation, and I believe they could have been less dramatic on saying it is "dying". Overall though,is was a great movie.

Review: If would have been better if there were more space fight scenes. I can just give it a four star. I would like to save my five stars for Star Trek II : The Wrath of Khan when it comes out in DVD, whenever that may be. I want Star Trek II out in DVD so bad~~~~~~~~~~

Review: People who watched the TV Series will find very interesting the developement of the characters. The relatioship between Troi and Riker, the sensitive Captain and the Data Jokes will make fans sigh and laugh, at the same time they will enjoy the spectacular FX. Two Thumbs Up !!

Review: Most people say that the odd numbered Star Trek flicks are bad and the even good. I have to disagree. This may not be the best Star Trek movie out there, but it is a good one. The story is about the Sona and the Federation wanting to move the Baku off their planet and who has the guts to stand up for them. The answere is Picard. He and his crew stand up for what is right and save the Baku from being moved away. Throughout the movie a complicated plot developes and signs of a conspiracy theory. Sometimes funny and sometimes sad, this movie doesn't disappoint.

Review: I had seen this film only Yesterday, but immideatly I have understood that is the best. It contains all the caratteristics of the TNG serie and have a lot of humor, suspance, action and Trek. It's more than First Contact, which had nothing like Star Trek even if was a great adventure. Only one "defaiance": Picard is more like Kirk than himself, but for one time that's not bed...

Summary: What was the point?
Review: I can't say that I was disappointed in this movie, because I wasn't expecting much to begin with. This was a really awful TNG movie, and I am generally a Next Gen fan. There was no real "insurrection," no character development, no reason to have Worf around, and the story was at best inconsequential. This would have been a really good candidate for "Mystery Science Theater 3000." Forget this movie ever existed; I try to.

Summary: One of the Best Special Effects and it has Comedy
Review: Let's get real fans! Insurection is the best one yet because of the digital industry and the special effects. You can't make a Shakespeare play (Mid-Summer Night's Dream) out of Star Trek and what it stands for. It SCI FI and if it takes you on a fun mential trip into the future, RELAX and enjoy the SHOW. Everyone rates First Contact or Generations the Best! Well if you want to dress up like a Klingon and go Ape then I guess you can critize all of them. But I believe MOST of us just want some GREAT Special Effects and a mind teaser about the future. Insurection does the job and if you like SCI FI its a must for the DVD owners. LET'S MAKE 1 COMPARISON! Nobody can match DUNE, its the Classic and Star Trek, Star WArs, etc. are all wonderful. The "God Father" is Dune and the rest of these films are the children. Enjoy Insurection, it is equal to all the rest for us novices who do not dress up and wear plastic lasers!

Summary: Better than the critics said
Review: Movie critics are pack animals. As soon as someone made the observation that the odd-numbered Star Trek movies seemed to be worse than the even-numbered, the hack-critics started repeating this ad nauseum. Dare we forget that Generations was a good movie? Well, Insurrection is quite good as well. I liked it the first time I saw it in the theatre, but recently rented it on video and was surprised to find that it was more entertaining on second viewing. So, rent it until the price falls, then buy it. It's a worthy addition.
