Summary: A WARMER-FUZZIER TREK
Review: To non-fans of Star Trek, there is the"odd numbered film curse",which odd numbered Trek film come off as disappointing.Usually the problem is second guessing fan expectation,& thinking big budget means big box office(i.e Trek 1 & 5).When I read about the upcoming ST9,I noticed that the budget was more than the average box office take of the other films(I sense a disappointing gross).Overall Insurrection was a better movie than most of the Oddies(except 3).It had some very funny moments, and Patrick Stewart seemed to be having fun as Picard. But one can't help but feel its story would've been better suited on TV.And considering the great quality of DS9 episodes with the Dominion war,you also feel the writers would strive for more on the big screen. As i expected the Box office tally was lower than expected(D'UH),but ST10 was announced ,so Trek films will continue and avoid straight-to-video oblivion. But in the end,it was a very entertaining film but you feel it could've been better.

Summary: Easily one of the worst Trek films
Review: It would be the worst if not for Star Trek 5. I was literally stunned by how lame this movie was. To call it nothing but a big television episode is too nice, since this would rank in the bottom of the barrel of tv episodes as well. Lame villians, bad effects, no wry humor just plain silliness, limp reasoning, boring story, and despite the actors knowing these characters inside and out some of the acting is workman like at best. It must be the script because as a director Frakes proved he has what it takes with First Contact....I just hope they let him direct some non-trek films (better leave this one off the resume). Every frame of this film screams out that it was probably raced into production because the studio needed another trek film, not a good one. To say you like this film is proof that nothing with trek on it will upset you. I hope for a long break before the next film, and hopefully it'll erase any thought of this mess from my mind. Yeesh! This was BAAAAAAD....

Summary: Bad and Boring
Review: I saw this movie in the theatre, it was stupid, pointless, and made me want to walk out and leave. It doesent even come close to the other star trek movies.

Summary: Sound over Substance.
Review: OK, lets face it. We want to love Star Trek movies because we feel so apart of the series. And for the most part, the movies just don't hit their mark. As a movie, this one probably ranks fourth in the series behind, Kahn, IV, and First Contact. But it's certainly not a bad film, which can't be said for about half of the Star Trek movies. However, if you have a subwoofer, surround sound speakers and are buying this for your 5.1 DVD... Pull out your wallet and get it. Star Trek is perfect for DVD. The Laser Fights, the Space Battles, the hiding in caves during an alien bombing give ample opportunity to be pounded into your chairs. In DVD no one can hear you scream, simply because the movie is so darn loud. I LOVE IT. So if you're a Star Trek fan or just someone who enjoys your home theatre. Pull out your wallet and have a great time. However, if you don't have 5.1 DVD with all the timmings, buy the wrath of Kahn, or simply go buy a better movie.

Summary: StarTrek Insurection
Review: All in all it was a good film. However it was not near on the scale of Generations. It lacks the Action given in other Star Trek movies

Summary: Underrated and Unappreciated, but Excellent!
Review: "Star Trek: Insurrection" is one of the best of the Star Trek films, only exceeded by "The Wrath of Khan," and "The Undiscovered Country." Beautiful visual effects, great location scenes, and a more human touch help "Insurrection" stand out among the Star Trek films. This one has the sense of adventure of "The Undiscovered Country," and the fun of "The Voyage Home." Stunning photography and solid direction from Jonathan Frakes help to make this a winner. A must-have for Saturday matinee lovers.

Summary: a good tv episode
Review: it had the effects, it has the sound and it has the action of a big screen movie. but the plot just does not live up to it. having said that it is still a good watch and if you are a startrek fan then you will enjoy it. i am hoping that they will come up with some better ways to keep worf in the movies apart from oh look whose here. the biggest disappointment for the dvd is a lack of extra features. my choice for a trek movie is first contact and i don't even like the borg.

Summary: Just as it is supposed to be !
Review: This Star Trek movie is one of the best. It reflects exactly what Star Trek and all that is based upon. The Prime Directive. It has good special effects, as well as humorous parts and action. If you are a Star Trek Fan, you will like this movie.

Summary: One of the best
Review: It's definately good...not as good as First contact. The effects are great, and it's a good flick for even a non-Star Trek fan. (I wasn't one till I saw the movie).

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Amusing!
Review: This is a pretty good movie, how ever it lacks the excitment of First Contact or Generations. I think that this is all in all a movie to watch if your a sci-fi fan of any type.
