Review: I've seen this movie sooooooooooo many times. each time it kicked so much ass!all the cool computer lingo and hacking looks so cool. kinda makes me wanna be a hacker but i dont know how. anyway, matt lillard says some funny stuff and the whole cast is really cool. its nice to have a funny movie using intelligent and witty humor. i couldnt even tell you how cool this movie is and if u havent seen it..............WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH YOU!?!?!?!? rent the thing!

Summary: An excellent movie!
Review: To the "Viewer in Australia". The "pentiums" they are referring to are probably the 1st generation pentiums. Those run at 66 MHZ and were usually put into an ISA bus running at a maximum of 33MHZ. If such a pentium was put into a PCI bus, running at a maximum of 66 MHZ, it WOULD compute faster. I won't haggle over details. Yes there are SMALL details that make the movie a little fake, but how many scripts are that perfect anyway! I enjoyed the movie, and thought that the writers took the necessary steps for a realistic script. Anyway, the screens wouldn't look like Windows XX. Supercomputers and other high powered computers usually use a version of UNIX, even to this day! Seems like you need to learn a little bit more about computers before you criticize!

Review: OH, MY GOD. Like, I've seen this movie over 50 times and I can't get enough of it!!!! Help!!! I think that the movie has hacked in to my brain and made me addicted to it. Like, I first saw it on HBO, and I was like, WTF? THIS MOVIE FREAKING RULES!! I couldn't believe how much it ruled. The realism needed some work, but over all, it was good. I think that Angelina Jolie is really freaking cool, and so is Jonny Lee Miller. But, I would have to say that my favouritest actor in that whole movie would have to be Mathew Lillard. He was "universally" amazing. LOL Um. What else to say about this movie? The effects were just incredible for the time it was made in. I think that "The Plague" has a bit of an ego trip problem, but that gave him his character. I think Joey in the movie was too cute. Also, I think that Phantom Freak was sweet as Hell. AHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Just quit reading this crapola nd rent it or buy it!!! You'll see what I mean!"Hack the planet!"

Summary: The Net was better (but not by much)
Review: Hackers could have been a great movie. It has a great, complex plot which has been lacking from a lot of movies of late. But there was too much that let it down. This movie had probably the most annoying characters I have ever seen. Joey made me want to throw things at the screen, Cereal Killer made me want to stab my ears, Acid Burn just really irritated me, and I just couldn't 'go' for them. The movie also had way too many unnecessary special effects. If the had just been standard Windows screens, it would have been a lot more believable (and made more sense). The final thing that really bugged me was the terminology they used. Give you a few examples "It's faster than the Pentium", "It has a PCI bus". Yeah, so? These are supposed to be computer geniuses and they sound like they've just read some jargon that they don't even understand straight from a computer magazine.

The point is, they don't act like hackers are criminals, but they're just smart and creative I just have 1 thing to write here:"This is our world now. Review: Hackers was one of the coolest movies I've ever seen. For all you people that grovel about its inaccuracy, deal with it. Zero Cool is possibly the coolest guy to ever exsist and no one, I mean NO ONE could hack the gib as fast as him :P
