Summary: Stunning!
Review: What makes this film unique is that it was directed by a European director - no American director can put out such visually pleasing and bizarre work! This has flare and "panache" - something only a Frenchman could do! Yes it borrows heavily from Blade Runner and Stargate but it is also very different from anything else seen to date! This is destined to be a classic! The DVD transfer id\s beautiful - one of the best I've seen. However, the extras are non existant! This is very disappointing but the movie is still good it enough on its own to warrant the purchase of this great DVD! Oh, and Bruce Willis plays Bruce Willis - again!

Summary: A review from Mr. Entertainment Lover
Review: You'll never look at the future the same way again after seeing this movie. Bruce Willis plays a taxi cab driver that becomes a hero when a mystical woman drops in his cab. He must bring her to safety and save the human race from Mr. Shadow and Zorg. This movie features flying cars, shootem up spaceship sequences, action and explosions, intense story, and wonderul special effects. The film will take your breath away and leave you wanting a sequal. Bruce Willis is so likeable you will be rooting for him all the way. Gary OldMan is so evil you will be waiting for his death. Chris Tucker is absolutely hilerous and that red haired girt is positively hot and sensational. If you want to see an entertaining and wonderul sci-fie adventure that is second best to Star Wars go and see the Fifth Element. Like I said the movie depicts a remarkable and stunning future.

Summary: Best Sci-Fi movie ever, next to Terminator 2
Review: This film is beautifully crafted in every aspect. The main character Corbin Dallas is called upon for "a mission of the utmost importance, to save the world." He eventually uncovers the key to world peace in Milla Jovovich, who is the mystical fifth element. Very bright film compared to the ambient darkness of Star Wars or Star Trek films. A must see.

Summary: Just buy it and enjoy!!
Review: I don't care what anyone else thinks. If you want a really good movie, this is the one to get. I have watched it more times than I can count, and Milla Jovovich is absolutely stunning!!(As usual) Chris Tucker will crack you up, and Bruce...well he speaks for himself. Chocked full of fights and laughs, and even some very lovely supermodels, you will not be dissapointed!!!!

Summary: THE BEST MOVIE IN THE HISTORT OF THE UNIVERSE...
Review: This is, without doubt, not only the best movie on the planet, but also the most underrated one. If you are to buy this movie, make sure that you see it more than once, every word has its meaning, and I think that I would know, I have seen it 28 times, and ready to see it 28 more...

The Fifth Element has incredible special effects, well directed, as well as artfully so, as well as sound and music..In fact, if you are not planning to buy this movie (even though it is worth each and every single penny) the soundtrack is definately a worthy investment.

As if the incredible direction, sound and special effects weren't enough, this movie adds the pleasure of superb actors, Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich, along with Chris Tucker and Ian Holm...a perfect blend of comedy and action.

BUY THIS MOVIE..THERE IS NONE BETTER...

Summary: This movie may appeal to young teenagers
Review: It would have been a better movie if they got rid of the DJ and got a better woman lead. She didn't look all that perfect to me. Also the villain was over acting. This movie should have been more serious instead of trying to overact too much.

Summary: One of the best SF movies ever made
Review: Excellent movie, brilliantly edited. Touches on most of the great themes of life and does so with vision and verve. The ending is formulaic but it's the only ending that would have worked and by no means is the route to that ending at all formulaic. Superb performances all around. Excellent photography and effects.

But if you're slow and your imagination is a bit dull, you will not be able to keep up with this movie and probably won't enjoy it too much either. If you think Star Wars and its sequels are hot stuff, you aren't grown up enough for the Fifth Element.

Summary: Needs Better Treatment on DVD
Review: I can't find anyone that agrees. After seeing this movie in the theatres two summers ago, I knew it was one of the greatest sci-fi films ever made. I'm not too good at reviews so I can't really describe the magic that happens up on screen. One gripe about the DVD, where are the SUPPLEMENTS? I hope some kind of Special Edition is coming out because while the DVD is the best way to see this film, I'd be interested hearing the director talk about his film on a commentary track, I'd also want that amazing teaser trailer, for anyone that remembers it.
