Summary: A review from Mr. Entertainment Lover
Review: When the Joker releases mayhem on Gotham City, it is up to Batman to save the day and put a stop to his plans. This is a good dark and dreary film about the caped crusader. The only downside is it gets slow at times. Keaton was the best Batman and Jack Nichelson was stupendous and brilliant as the twisted Joker.

Summary: WOW
Review: It all goes down hill from Batman Returns...

Keaton we love ya -- no matter WHAT you look like.

and that's not the point. He's only human -- after Burton, Batman became...a cartoon. Someone save the bat.

Summary: Holy missing extras, Batman!!!
Review: This is a perfect example of a missed opportunity. This film, when first released, was a cultural phenomenon. Yes, it was the most hyped film of the eighties, but it deserved it. Incredible acting(and an underrated performance by the great Michael Keaton), tension, darkness, short controlled bursts of action, and a sense of dreadful grandeur all added up to a near perfect movie-going experience. I remember watching the trailer and getting palpitations, along with the rest of the whooping crowd. So here's the DVD. Widescreen and standard. Some notes. Cheap cardboard case. No picture improvement whatsoever. No voiceover, from anyone. No making of featurette, or commentary on the bat-hysteria the film initially caused. And worst of all, that great trailer that got the whole country talking is missing. Warners has done this before(See Interview With The Vampire), but to do it to this film is criminal. I really hope I have to spend even more money on a special edition someday, just so Batman gets the respect it deserves.

Summary: Great movie, so-so transfer
Review: The movie itself is great and the sound is excelent but they did a horrible job of transferring it to DVD. There is jumping all over the place. On the other hand, like most of their other movies, this company did put it in both letterbox and widescreen which allows me a lot of freedom depending on company of how to watch it.

Summary: Not what you'd expect!
Review: Okay so your already wondering why I gave the movie only one star. The reason is very simple and is very easy to be noticed all throughout the movie. Its for adults!Isn't Batman supposed to be a kids superhero?Me and my two kids rented the movie and what a great dissapontment it was! {For the kids.}Its very odd for a kids superhero to be in an adult movie.

Summary: The way Batman was mean't to be.
Review: I've been a Batman fan for a very long time, and this movie just made me more of a fan. This movie portrays Batman the way he is mean't to be. Batman is dark, gothic and all about his business. Michael Keaton truly is the man behind the mask. Jack Nicolson was the best choice there ever could have been for the Joker. He has the evil laugh, sinisterness, and purple look to fill the role. This is truly the best Batman movie there will ever be. It's untopable.

Summary: Best of them all!!!!!
Review: They all go downhill from here. This is by far the best comic book movie i've seen and the greatest Batman of them all. The Dark Knight is TRIUMPHANT!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Best movie of all the batmans
Review: I must say the worst Batman is the 2nd one. Jack is a great joker the best there is. Michael Keaton is the best Batman as well. He is a great actor and so far is the best in my eyes. It has a small love story and a lot of intense action. I love to watch this movie over and over again.
