Summary: Marvel/20th Century Fox; Perfect Together.
Review: If you look at all the aspects of the movie, X2 was a huge success. It not only brought back the cast and crew from the first X-Men movie together, but it also set up what is shapeing up to be a really solid working relationship between Marvel Entertainment and 20th Century Fox. Fox has seen the potensial that various Marvel characters have starting with the X-Men, and now they are getting ready to do the Fantastic Four as the next big Marvel Movie success. (with more shortly to follow). Not only does Fox have the production facilities to do these movies, they can also successfully market and promote these movies to theaters. Bring on X-Men 3.

Summary: Wolvie cuts loose! Great hints to the Phoenix Saga!
Review: This prooves that a sequel can be better than the original. X-2 really improves on the first film and it finally gives us the Wolverine that we have seen in the comic book. Hugh Jackman did a fine job in the first film but he didn't really fight as well as Wolverine did in the comic. It was great to see him cut threw his opponents with such ease in this film because it makes him more like the comic book Wolverine that we alll loved and admired as kids.

The acting and the story were great. I thought the Phoenix/Dark Phoenix Saga hint at the end was cool but I was hoping they would save that story for X4 or X5. I really can't wait to see Gambit in X3. I hope the rumors are true that Christian Kane from TV's "Angel" will play Gambit. Gambit was the only thing that was missing from this film.

Please give us a different villain in X3. I always love Magneto but I would like to see the X-men face the Sentinels or a new villain. I hope the Hellfire Club or the Shadow King can appear in one of the next X-men films because they are good villains. The Brood would also be cool.

Buy this if you love the X-men and be sure to look for the weird "Wrath of Khan" Similarities.

Summary: A rarity..a sequel that is better than the first
Review: X-2 is a rarity for hollywood. It's a movie that is actually better than the first.

I must admit I was disappointed with X-men. It didn't follow the comic books to well and I thought the storyline around Wolverine was to great. I felt that X-2 didn't make that mistake and did a better job of developing characters.

X-2 tells the story of a mad man trying to control mutants to do his own will. Jean is starting to become Phoneix and you the Brotherhood of Mutants start to come back together. You learn more of Wolverine's past. It's a well written story.

The special effects in X2 are remarkable. They do an awesome job with Nightcrawler. His teleporting is remarkable. Iceman and Pyro go nuts with there respective powers and some impressive effects are shown there. The fight between Lady Deathstrike and Wolverine is cool. It's one of the best fights i've ever seen. The way they slash, hack, and stab is cool. The special effects are one of the many reasons to see the movie.

Overall I'd have to say X2 is best comic book moive made in a while. It follows comic book storyline well and is a must own for an X-men fan.

Summary: Exceptional!
Review: X2 was exciting and thrilling, intelligent and a little dark --just like the comic. Although many folks might deride the paper and ink monthly series, the comic book is really an American art form, and one that's difficult to turn into a film. X2 did well, picking up nicely on the heels of X-Men -- more mutant hatred and fear and welcome Nightcrawler. He is my favorite! The scene where Nightcrawler busts into the White House is superb -- honestly, the best bit of action you'll see in all the Marvel movies thus far!!! But be warned -- although X2 is not as dark as Daredevil or sullen and sci fi as the Hulk, it has moments which may frighten the kids. The scene where those paramilitary dudes are breaking into the school for gifted children is all too realistic a threat today. But its just a movie. . . or a comic, or both.

X2 is a little more grown up than Spiderman. There is less romance than that movie too. You will love this movie if you love the X-men. And if you don't know them, it will help you get to know them. You'll learn more about Wolverine and his past, and see more of Magneto and his henchwoman. The interaction between the whole group is outstanding. And if you don't like mutants, you will still enjoy the action and story of X2.

Two questions you might ask yourself -- will there be an X2.5 release with the bigger bonus features as they did with the first movie? And who can tell me what's up with Jean Grey -- she is pivotal to the whole X-men saga . . .

Summary: One of the best comic book movies ever made, if not the best
Review: X2, free of the burden X-MEN had of having to introduce all of its giant cast of characters, is a better movie than its predecessor. It takes all of its characters, throws them into a life-or-death plotline that makes sense within the guidelines of the X-Men universe, keeps the action on high throughout and even provides its actors a chance to showcase their individuality.

Watching it, it feels like a comic book. Someone's out to take over the world, and chaos seems to put our heroes in some new danger every few minutes. As Wolverine and Magneto, Hugh Jackman and Ian McKellan once again get some choice lines, and the discrimination-against-mutants parable gets addressed nicely, complete with a mutant "coming out" scene.

The final battle is thrilling. The villain is fascinating. Of the major new characters, only Deathstrike doesn't make much of an impression. Pyro is interesting and well-developed, and Nightcrawler's multifaceted and compelling.

And the ending is one of the most daring, promising and cool popcorn-movie endings ever committed to film. You half expect the film to flash "To be continued ..." across the screen.

X2 is great stuff.

Summary: the best x-man movie so-far
Review: well for one thing i love how the finaly introduce the other students at the acadomy and thw work they did on nightcrawler but one thing i think they could of done to make it better was add in gambit for more of a spice in that rouge and ice-man's relachionship but other then that this is a must owne dvd untill they bring out X-men 3 (whitch Gambit, Havic, Boom Boom, and the rest of the brother hood will be introduce in to the story line)

Summary: forget the original
Review: forget the 1st one. this one is great and it has more indepth story telling and much more wonderful filled characters including NightCrawler, Pyro, ICeMan, DeathStyrke and others. The first one was really not that bad and I liked Hugh Jackman a Wolverine and hes excellent in this one as well as he trys to find out who made him the way he is. I just hated that Famke Janssen(Jean Grey) dies in this one(hope I'm not spoiling anything for anyone here). one thing I hated though is that James Marsden(Cyclops) seemed like he had little screen time in this movie. He dissapeared and then way minutes later he pops on the screen again. anyway. check it out. action and stunts galore. a slam banging good time

Summary: Excellent Movie
Review: The first movie looked good at the time, but once X2 came out, there was no competition. This movie makes the original look frankly boring. More action, more trouble, and more characters (Pyro, Stryker, and of course The Incredible Nightcrawler) make this a movie no one can miss.

Summary: Pretty good. 3.5 stars.
Review: Not much of a fan of X-Men, but this film's not bad. Much better than the first. If you like X-men, then see this one.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: X-ceptional (sorry, couldn't resist)
Review: The sequal to X-Men has Wolverine investigating his past, while other mutants are dealing with a form of government registartion reminecient of McCarthy Communist hunts in the 50s. There is a secret agent who is fighting the X-Men, with a private vendetta against Profesor Xasvior. I loved this movie, it had the mutants doing their thing, it also has the bad guys and good guys working together against the government agent. The action was hard and fast, it was funny, the acting was at least as good as you'd expect from this kind of movie. If there is one draw back, it's just a little too long.
