Summary: Cult Movie
Review: Hi armchair critics,

In the best of taste the above is meant to be.Fifth Element, the movie unlike the majority of Sci Fi-s was literally refreshing,.. like viewing an animated comic book, the first 10 minutes hooked me in purely on visuals,I began to wish I could be around to live this!!! Mmmm definately a cult movie, or a new begining,... for more of this type to come. THE CAST :Main and support Actors, were all definately on the same wave-length.Thanks guys it was a big treat.

Summary: So what?
Review: I admit it, the acting isn't that great and the plot is a little obscure. But, the movie makes up for it in the cinematography alone. THis is one of the most beautiful movies to come out of the 90's. The special effects are astounding. This movie is above and beyond any Star Wars or Star Trek movie ever made in the field of special effects.

The fact that the movie was not meant to be serious added to the fun. Everything is light and airy. Even the evil forces, though portrayed as totally evil and dark, do not bring down the jovial mood.

So what if the acting isn't perfect. So what if the plot is slightly obscure. This is a fun movie. That is all is was intended to be and all it ever will be.

Summary: I absolutely loved it!
Review: It was love on the first sight. I've seen it at least million times, but still it's my number one.

Summary: A terrible, frustrating movie
Review: I hated this picture. Bruce Willis does an adequate job, but the character of Chris Tucker is enough to make any normal person sick to his or her stomach. It should be rated R, as it is not fit for minors.

Summary: Campy but excellent sci-fi film that's very entertaining.
Review: This is a campy but highly entertaining science fiction story. Although it follows the usual "save-the-universe" theme, it manages to include some fairly tender moments as people learn to grow up. There is a lot of humor to keep you involved while not letting the storyline bog down. You have to watch the backgrounds carefully as some of the effects are tremendous, such as the opera scene. (The singing voice here is only partially synthesized - this lady has REAL talent!) Many people don't think Bruce Willis is a particularly good actor, but the subtleties here contradict their opinion.

Summary: A Triumph of Style Over Substance.
Review: This film rarely, if ever, makes sense. However, the strong visuals are clearly what the filmmakers were focused on, so that should probably be your basis for judging the movie, on the whole. The plot is adequate, with some very obvious borrowings from Blade Runner, Stargate, etc. But again, there is enough sheer visual originality to more than make up for the occasional plunderings of other films.

Here are a few small points that particularly struck me. In the chase scene, where the police are chasing Bruce and Milla, they flash much too quickly through the McDonald's train. If you hit pause just in time, it looks as though one of the train cars says "21 Trillion Served," which is probably more or less on target for that future era. (Goodbye, rain forest. Think how many acres of rain forest would be destroyed to make room for all those cows...) Also, man oh man, those were some sexy stewardae they had on that spaceflight... Gary Oldman is always worth seeing, although I agree with the reviewer who was put off by that little plastic thing on his head. Chris Tucker's character was a bit too "over the top" for me, and I suspect I'm not alone in that assessment. Be prepared for annoyance from that quarter.

Basically, this is a pretty fluffy movie. But if you just want to have a light, fun time, and don't need to be challenged too much, you could conceivably do worse than seeing "The Fifth Element."

Summary: the bomb
Review: Did you know that the diva Pavalogona sang the whole song in her own voice? I saw it on the making of the fifth element. It is not synthasised at all. Many tried to sing the opera and said it was impossable but she did it. WWWWOOOOWWWW!!!!!!!!!

Summary: SCI FI AND OPERA IN ONE MOVIE!
Review: PICTURE QUALITY IS FANTASTIC, AND THE AUDIO ON THE OPERA SCENE REALLY SHOWS WHAT THE DVD FORMAT CAN DO FOR FILMS THAT IS WHY I GAVE IT A FIVE STAR RATING. s.d.f

Summary: This flick is a misunderstood jewel
Review: It is hard to find a science-fiction flick that can entertain while not taking itself too seriously. The Fifth Element is one of those flicks. It is action-packed, funny, and subversive at the same time. Any flick with Tiny Lister as the Leader of the Free World gets my money every time.

Summary: The first movie I every bought
Review: This movie is in the top three favorite movies for both my wife and I. Detailed, fun, full of eye-popping excitement. The first movie I ever bought...
