Review: If you are a Martial Artists or if you enjoy the Martial Arts, and you love action this is it! This is one of the best video. (It's a plus if you are a Marvel Fan, it compliments the comic book.) Vampires, Martial Arts, Action and Graphics = ***** (5 stars) in my book! An excellent movie!!! A+

Summary: My pick for the best action movie for 1998
Review: Let's face it, comic books turned movies traditionally fail in the interpretation. Usually we end up with a diluted version of the character in an over-produced movie. The exception to this is Blade which is heads and tails over New Line Cinema's previous comic book release Spawn. The action is exceptional thanks in part to Snipes' martial arts experience, brilliant editing, and state of the art special effects. Albeit, the story is a bit of give and take, it is sufficient enough to hold one's attention throughout the course of the movie. The DVD translation was very good offering up an excellent soundtrack of music and sound effects. It's techno/electronica score was a perfect compliment to the movie. I did notice a flaw in my copy of the DVD where gunshots did not interpret properly sometimes and the music did seem a little on the quiet side relative to the rest of the movie. The DVD's special features were a big bonus for this film offering, the viewers, among many other things, the 'alternative ending' as far as it was finished (I'm glad they went with the production version). Blade is not for everyone's tastes but if you are a fan of this genre of movie, you will not be disappointed.

Review: I think most of wesly snipes'es movies are great but this one takes the cake in my opinion, I also belive this movie blowes away all the comatition so far for 98' and 99'. This action packed movie includes the supernatural vamires with a very modern and interesting twist whale combining this with the great acting, great coriogaphing, and even better plot. I recomend this to any one who likes martial arts movies or vampires, even if it only an interest you'll still probebly like this movie. When this movie comes out on video I recomend bying it.
