Summary: Hypnotic Masterpiece
Review: What can I say? I first fell under Henson/Lucas/Bowie's spell several years ago when I caught it on the Disney Channel... Many people mention Connely and Bowie but what I applaud the most is the scenery and the imagination turned reality atmosphere. It gets somewhat sluggish in areas but soon snaps your attention at another turn! This is one Labyrinth I wouldn't like to find the way out of!

Summary: A memorable fantasy film that the kids 'll love...
Review: I remember watching this a lot as a little kid and I found it to be really enjoyable, with good music, good story and brilliant F/X and characters.

Summary: Welcome to the Labyrinth
Review: The Labyrinth is one of my all time favorite movies. It brings back many fond childhood memories. I used to watch it all the time on video when I was younger, but then one day the video dissapeared or something, because the movie was no longer to be seen. Then years later a friend of mine recorded it off the television and I again got to see this wonderfull movie. When it came out on DVD I knew I had to buy it, and so I did.

The movie is a wonderful tale of fantasy and adventure. David Bowie does a wonderful job of portraying the goblin king. The movie is filler with fantastic music from David Bowie and a rich score composed by Trevor Jones. The movie does not have so many extras except some trailers, bios and a making-of. But the DVD edition of the movie is very good. I'm sure this movie will charm you. If you haven't seen it yet, and like these sorts of movies, this is one of the best.

Summary: A truly enthralling, spinning crystal world of fantasy!
Review: Saw it with my sister and my favorite aunt on the video almost 10 years ago and we all really ENJOYED it! We truly did relished in all those funny Muppet characters, that wicked humor, such creative visual gags, and all that glittery magic to grace such a movie! And I love it about how the beautiful dark-haired young heroine suddenly goes tumbling into the otherworldly land to search desperately for her lost baby brother that she had wanted to get rid of in the first place and encountered all those wonderfully fantastic creatures to befriend along the way! And oh, that David Bowie would make you really blush! Wow. As a result, my beloved aunt and I were temporarily drawn under his very seductive spell and survived! But I'm still thankful the lovely Jennifer wasn't really looking for romantic love in the the first place like all the other teenaged fairytale heroines, nevertheless. So go ahead and enjoy such an enchanting ride, folks!

Summary: An Enchanting Story!
Review: Like a previous reveiwer, this was my "first favourite" movie, and it is still one of my top 5. (The Matrix has taken it's place as #1.) My family doesn't have a T.V. or VCR so when we went to visit my grandparents in England one time, they taped this movie off the television for me to see. I loved it! I must have watched it 20 times that first week. They all thought I had gone mad. But the story is so wonderful. This movie is the kind that hides things in the background, so no matter how many times you watch it you find something new. (For example, check out the posters in Sarah's room.) The movie is put together extremely well. There is only one part that I can tell the puppets were "cut out" and edited, and that is the Fiery Dance scene. This movie is wonderful, and I know you will enjoy it.

Summary: Labyrinth
Review: This movie is by far the best fantasy film ever. Jennifer Connelly is a little weak in the acting, but David Bowie and all of the characters certainly make up for it. With the very detailed costumes, puppets, and spirited music it is fun to watch fun to listen to. There is a part or too where the computer animation is not so great, but overall it is supurb! The cd is also another must for all Labyrinth fans. Truely a masterpiece!

Summary: Mystical and humorous
Review: Labyrinth is my all time favorite movie, I have a little brother and would'nt mind sending him to the Goblin king, Jared (David Bowie) once in awhile. I love fantasy movies and this tops them all off. The characters each have their own personalities which enlightens the movie even more. I definatly give this movie 5 stars!

Summary: Good Movie, but unnecessary scenes hurt it.
Review: This movie has an exceptional plot and memorable characters, but it seems some stuff was added for no real reason. For example, there is some minor cursing (hell & damn). In one scene, Sarah meets Hoggle while he is urinating in a stream. Scenes such as these keep the movie from becoming a classic, which is a real shame because the movie overall is great and these scenes were not needed.

Summary: The Best
Review: This movie was the first "favorite movie" I ever had, and it still is. David Bowie's character is so multi-leveled that I spent months just trying to figure him out! Hoggle is a great sidekick of sorts, and seeing Sarah grow throughout the movie is such a treat. The music rocks, the puppetry is wonderful, and the special effects couldn't be better (for the 80's). It has all the comedy, depth, and mysticism that a great fantasy should have. And it is a great fantasy.

Summary: IT WAS SHOCKING WHEN I FIRST SAW IT!
Review: Labyrinth is one of the most awsome movie I have ever seen in my life. It was shocking and exciting at the same time. I really love comedy and adventure movies. This just happins to be one of them. Really give it 5 stars.
