Summary: this movie didn't Tank!
Review: wow, i own this movie, and it is freaking awesome. it has the classic Spike action sequences, and the standard faye almost being raped scene, plus Ed's usual antics! This is my favorite movie of all time. The music is almost as awesome as the movie! Ask DNA is awesome. The final fight against Vincent is one of the few challenging matches i've seen spike in, other than ed's dad, of course. Anyways, this is one freaking sweet movie.

Review: I'll keep this quick.I gave this 1 star to affect the overall score more.My real rating is about....2 stars.
When I first watched this,I was expecting it to be really good.Maybe I got my hopes up too high. The TV series is fantastic.But..This movie seems like it was an episode at first, but streeeeeeeeetched out.It really did drag out, which is funny, because the ending felt rushed. It suffers from both edges of the sword...The ending is extremely anticlimatic, and Spike seems out of character off and on.Great animation though!

Summary: AT LAST !
Review: i was waiting for this dvd to be released in the uk,it got released, but as a rating 12 film.what the hell.......
so i bought it from the us amazon.
every body knows the cowboy bebop gang by now, this time a round they're hunting a terrorist.
my first introduction to bebop,well...good, not bad at all.
the story isn't that strong though, and the action scenes,as amazing as they were, stoped ,when you just started geting in to it.but it's also the kind of film you don't get bored from easily.i watch it four times, and every time i discover new delights, specially from the extra characters in the film.
the special features are good too.you get the making of the film, interview with the japanese cast, the us dub team, characters profiles and two music videos.the music videos are the same begining song and ending song ,but without the credits.
all that music was done by one person, yoko kano.that deserves respect.
p.s.ed is my favourite ,the japanese voiced ed,the dubbed one is annoying.

Summary: This movie is the shiznit!!!
Review: If you have ever had the chance to see the Cowboy Bebop series on cartoon network then you know that this is as good as japanime gets. This movie lacks the great Vicious from the series but the regulars (Spike, Faye, Jet, Ein, and of course Edward) are all there along with a new villian that just won't die. The 5.1 digital sound is awesome and the graphics are just as *#&$@ing great. I recomend this movie to enyone who even thinks they like Cowboy Bebop.

Summary: I cried three times and fainted twice!!!!
Review: This movie is as great as the series. Everything and everyone has returned for this masterful movie. The artwork and settings took my breath away. The fight scenes were amazing and unparralled to any animated movie I've ever seen. When i say unparralled i mean, this is one of my top 5 movies of all time. Ladies and gentlemen, I don't lie. This movie has everything especially with Spike. What he does with the broom is Jackie Chan mixed with Jet Li. Spike last fight scene against Vincent is incredible. He and Bruce Lee are the only people i know that use Jeet Kune Do. The special features are a great addition to an already outstanding movie. You find out everything there is to Cowboy Bebop. I love this movie and if you love the series like i do, get it right now! If you love the series and don't have this then you should kill yourself. Make your life worthwhile and get it. Trust me, you'll thank me afterwards.

Summary: Name Changed is the ONLY flaw
Review: The only even close to negative thing I can say of this spectacular movie is that it was originally titled Knockin' On Heaven's Door. This really makes a lot more sense if you think about it, especially considreing the ending theme song, Gotta Knock a Little harder. I guess they thought they had to dumb it down for us americans, huh? ^_^
I am a huge fan of the movie, series, soundtracks, manga, you name it.

Summary: Very good storytelling
Review: This film had many great elements in it such as the use of paralells and etc. It was very entertaining to watch and very thought provocing. Overall, it was a great film.

The deduction of one star is due to a couple of things. The thing I loved about the series was the very subtle character deveopment. They abandoned this for the film and come out and say "this is so and so and he is such and such, get it?" This was necessary to get first time viewers to understand what all what going on, but veteran fans probably would have rather forgone the awkward dialog that set that up. The awkward dialog is the second item.

Overall, it was an excellent film and well worth watching.

Summary: THE Best
Review: why i think its the best is because of the fight sceen at the end between spike an vincent. that was my favorite part because you could tell they put a lot of hard work into that one scene.if you are a big cowbody bebop fan i would not stop and think before i buy this movie, it's worth every cent.

Summary: Hard Bop and Butterflies
Review: "Cowboy Bebop - The Movie" is a rare achievement. It does the all-most impossible, capturing the spirit of the anime series and producing a top-notch feature film. All of the familiar cast of characters are here, with each of them getting their due. A pumpin' soundtrack full of bebop splendor plays its necessary role as well. Yoko Kanno has earned her paycheck on this one.

"Cowboy Bebop" tends to float between serious and silly, and while the movie has both elements, it is definitely the serious on display here. The stakes are higher, with the future of the entire human race standing in the balance. The use of the butterfly and metamorphosis makes an excellent visual metaphor for the bio-weapon. Life, death and transformation are the contemplated ideas. Vincent is a sympathetic villain, while remaining completely evil.

While "Cowboy Bebop - The Movie" is clearly intended for fans of the series, I would think that first-time viewers would still rate it highly.
