Summary: THE PITS!
Review: This was the worst movie ever. It's not as bloody as the 2nd. Too boring

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A ground breaking classic
Review: What more can be said than what already was. However, people should be aware of the fact that the orginal film was release with a MONO sound track. So the complaints that someone screwed up on the transfer are just examples of peoples ignorance!

I would not want someone dinking around with sound track just to make is sound prettier. It would be just as bad as those God Awful colorized movies that cause such a big stink a few years ago. I am glad that this movie still retains the integrity and character it was released with.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A true modern-classic! Must see for sci-fi lovers!
Review: I saw "The Terminator for the first time in 1997. Even then, I was totally struck by it! It's a true hit!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Great movie, worst audio transfer to DVD ever !!
Review: This was a ground breaking, thrilling bit of sci-fi and a terrific concept that makes you think of time travel, the path of civilizations and the inevitability of us working toward our own destruction ( a theme that Cameron continues in Titanic ) via technology. Unfortunately, the technology does not extend to the audio transfer of the film to DVD. The mono sound track is beyond annoying and sounds like a college film project, at best. Because of this, I can understand why Cameron is hesitating to use DVD for his other eagerly awaited projects to come out ( The Abyss, Titanic, True Lies ). Don't expect much from the sound and you won't be disappointed. Buy for the video, it's beautiful!

Summary: Masterpiece
Review: One of the best movies ever made. Difficult to find an actor who could play the cyborg better than Schwarzenegger: A machine, trying to fullfill its mission with no tears, laugh, hate or pashion - just do it. The moral : "Shoot, don't talk".

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great Special Effects for 1984, very articulate plot.
Review: Movie about a machine sent back in time to kill a woman that has significant importance in the future. Set in 1984 and 2029 the terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is a cyborg with no feelings, will stop at nothing to kill young Sarah (Linda Hamilton).

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A NON STOP ACTION SCI-FI THRILLER!!!
Review: I thought that THE TERMINATOR was one of the best films I've ever seen bar none!!! ARNOLD SCHWARTZENNEGER is awsome who he plays I won't give away just watch and find out LINDA HAMILTON and MICHEAL BEHIN are great too in this film as well. I felt that this was always one of JAMES CAMERON'S best films the kind of films he needs to stick to anway see THE TERMINATOR and have a blast!!!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Great Film, lousy sound
Review: I loved this movie in the theatre. I merely liked it on DVD. Apparently, this movie was released in the theatre in mono, so they put it on DVD that way. I can't imagine why it was released that way, then or now. It's a little annoying after getting used to the superior sound that DVD brings.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: One of the best
Review: Terminator is a merciless thriller that surpasses the over-hyped sequel. The atmospheric feel of this movie is really intense! The first 60 minutes of this movie are excellent, the atmospheric feel is wild, but as the movie unravels it sort of loses it's edge. Just the atmospheric intensity of the first hour gives this movie 4 stars.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: this is a SCIFI must
Review: The Terminator is the cultmovie of all scifi cult movies. It's dark view on things to come are very refreshing. It's the movie that made Schwarzenegger, Michael Biehn and Linda Hamilton. Don't miss this one.
