Summary: THE MOVIE TO JUDGE ALL OTHERS
Review: This may be perhaps one of the greatest movies ever made. This flick has an all star cast with no medicore performances whatsoever, their at the top of their game. The special effects may be outdated somewhat, but at the time of it's release it was spectacular, and a treat to view. One of the greatest lines ever, '' Dont make me kill you tough guy'', classic!! The only downfall was not releasing a sequel, which was sure to attract an audience, even with todays viewers. Kurt Russell has aged badly, and his acting has become worse but this movie is timeless, and being said it also embodies him and time has become a standstill.

Summary: Adventure, Magic, Kung Fu and Sheer Fun
Review: Kurt Russel is awesome in this supernatural kung-fu adventure. He plays Jack Burton, a truck driver, initially minding his own business and having his own agenda until through a chain of circumstances, he gets involved in rescuing a friend's fiancee who gets kidnapped by the evil spirit - who, on his part needs her in order to get a human body.

Rescuing her presents a more challenging task that he can manage on his own - he doesn't have only ordinary humans to fight with, but a whole host of spirits and people skilled in Chinese magic. Wild adventure begins. He spares no effort to do whatever it takes.

There are people flying everywhere, changing shape, kung fu and sword fight in the air and he never knows what to expect next. Life is full of surprises.

Summary: love hate
Review: DVD seams to be a copy from VHS tape. As such the audio varies as you play the movie. This is one of my favorite movies but can't rate it higher due to the crappy job of transfering to DVD.
