Rating: Summary: Do Not Buy This Garbage Bootleg Review: It took a month for me to actually receive this film. I have been waiting for years to see this, the last Godzilla film I needed for my collection. I should have waited longer. Even if you don't mind that this is a cheap DVD-R bootleg of a shoddy print, or that the title is spelled wrong, or that the cover and label are ugly as sin... you should not buy it. Why? Because the last chapter of the disc doesn't play! You can't even watch the whole film all the way through. I have returned and replaced this disc twice already and they were all the same. I'm going to avoid all DVDs from "Cine Vu" from now on.
Rating: Summary: BLECH! Review: Nooo...no, no, no... This movie is too terrible! Should be viewed only for MST3000. No wonder this was on the disney channel! The dubbing on this movie is terrible! And the effects? Much worse than its prequel's, G vs. The Thing. King Ghidrah was pretty cool in this one and the final battle is definately worth watching, as well as the battles between G and Rodan. And those twin fairies from Infant Island are soooo ANNOYING in this one! USually, the talk in unison, but this time, their uneven so they'll be saying the same thing but at different times and you can't understand a word their saying! This movie really blows but Ghidrah's too cool to bomb, so it gets 2 stars.
Rating: Summary: Great title monster, but the rest is a mess Review: One of the most striking of japans kaijus makes his screen debut in this movie, and its an inspired creation. vivid and unique. The rest is a mess. A convoluted story that makes little sense in its original version, and none in its american edit. Godzilla goes from a monster to buffoon. Rodan is a ghastly shadow of his former self. This was one of effects man Tsuburya's worst kaijus. (and to be honest, there is a fair ammount of competition for the title of his most awful monster... I vote for his KING KONG.. a monster so bad that they should have taken away Tsbubrya's cameras for a year as punishment.) This film is a huge comedown from the previous entry, GODZILLA vs THE THING. A childish mess as opposed to a childlike film. See it for ghidrah, who would be better served in the next film, MONSTER ZERO,which is also a silly, but a much better movie
Rating: Summary: Godzilla's greatest opponent makes his introduction. Review: Summary: Godzilla, Rodan and Mothra team up to overthrow a three-headed dragon from space.Up to this point (1965) the best in the series. Ghidrah (or Ghidorah) is truly the most impressive of all godzilla's foes and will return 4 more times in: "Godzilla Vs. Monster Zero", "Destroy All Monsters", "Godzilla Vs. Gigan" and "Godzilla Vs. King Ghidorah". Next is "Godzilla Vs. Monster Zero".
Rating: Summary: HORRIBLE quality DVD, avoid at all costs. Review: The DVD is terrible. First, though the cover promises a widescreen transfer, the DVD is horribly cropped, so 50% of the scope image is missing. If that weren't bad enough, the picture quality is very, very poor and during motion scenes (most of the film) the picture blurs! The old Goodtimes LP speed VHS tape from the 80s looks better than this. Avoid at all costs!
Rating: Summary: illegal Review: This bootleg is illegal and Amazon shouldn't sell it. I hope Toho sues. What a waste of money. Don't sell this, Amazon.
Rating: Summary: THIS SEEMS TO BE A BOOTLEG Review: This disc is a DVD-R,the purple gives it away, and it looks like a copy of the old VHS. Since Toho still owns the rights, I am surprised that Amazon is selling this, considering there *may* be copyright issues involved. I am both disapointed and disturbed that amazon is selling this. Don't buy this disc.
Rating: Summary: This is a BOOTLEG DVD-R, don't buy it Review: This DVD is a horrid piece of trash. It is not even a legitamate release, IT IS A BOOTLEG DVD-R, and Toho will be cracking down on CineVu soon enough. But, please, do yourself a favor and don't rush to buy it before that happens because IT IS UTTER GARBAGE.
Rating: Summary: A classic G-film! Review: This fifth film in the G-series is a classic that is marred only by the idiotic dubbing and by some scenes being either cut or re-arranged by its American distributor. Tsubaraya's effects work is stunning in its complexity and virtuosity. King Ghidorah is a terrific creation that would prove to be one of Godzilla's most popular foes. Ishiro Honda's direction is brilliant and Akira Ifukube contributes a powerfully rousing score. This light-hearted sci-fi adventure can be enjoyed by viewers of all ages. A monstrous classic from the Land of the Rising Sun!! END
Rating: Summary: Don't allow yourself to be ripped off!! Review: This is a bootleg DVD-R, and not even a good one at that. I can take my old VHS tape and make a better copy of this movie. I didn't think people were allowed to sell crap like this on Amazon. Heck the $8 Alpha Video DVDs are better than this, and this guy is charging $20!!!! I returned mine.
