Summary: One of the best movies I've ever seen
Review: Holy smoke, kids, what a great movie! I haven't seen a movie with this much magic, sincerity, laughs, tears...I just can't say enough about it. If you are a "grown up" it will make you feel like a kid again (I left the theater wanting to play pirates!) and if you are a kid it is an excellent adventure. P.J. Hogan has truly directed a masterpiece and I highly recommend it to ANYONE!!!

Summary: Beautiful and unforgettable
Review: This is by far the best version of Peter Pan. P.J. Hogan has done a wonderful job by creating a spectacular, mystical, and entrancing movie. This is not only for a younger audience, but for adults also! This is an unforgetable movie that should be watched by all. Don't miss out on this BRILLIANT movie!

Summary: Hands down, the BEST movie of the year!
Review: What an amazing film! There's so many interesting, prevalent, and psychological themes/ideas to digest after watching this. It is NOT simply a "kid's flick." In fact, I would argue that adults (or those who are on the cusp of adulthood) may find this more interesting than young children.
It really is a beautiful film to watch. The way it was shot and the colors used are absolutely breathtaking, and the score is one of the best I have ever heard. The acting is brilliant, the characters are perfectly cast and all have incredible meaning behind them. The story is a classic and is presented here the best that it has ever been presented. There are so many layers and levels to the story if you analyze it carefully. It's kept me thinking for months now (I saw it Dec. 26th)
The DVD is bound to be great, despite the rather childish cover photo/collage thing, and 18.98$ is such a small price to pay to own this masterpiece forever! (whoa, I just sounded way too much like an advertiser)

Seriously, what more could you ask for in a movie?

Summary: Deep, meaningful, powerful.
Review: Seeing this movie in the theater was something of a marvel. My wife and I were surrounded by little children, each of which were more excited about this movie than I had seen for Lord of the Rings, or Star Wars, or any major epic in recent years. See this movie was meant for them. We all know and love the story of Peter Pan, and a good many of us also fell in love with the unofficial sequel Hook (albeit only after it hit home video and DVD as its theatrical presentation didn't fare to well.) But it was only after seeing this movie sitting next to a young girl, about 6 or 7 at the most and seeing how she responded to this film did I begin to understand what Peter Pan is. Its a story about the tragedy of loosing our innocence, about being forced to grow up, and take on adult responsibilities when we all would much rather just play and have fun. Most of all its about wanting the best of both worlds, the things that come with adulthood such as love, and family, without having to sacrifice the comforts of childhood. That is the inner struggle of Peter Pan. He wants to love, but knows that he cannot, because if he gives into his heart it means he would have to grow up. It's amazing to see a movie that so beautifully captures the emotional struggle that children go through at that age. The inner struggle to cling to the things that are fun, and innocent, and childish, versus the desire to become independent, to love and be loved beyond a mother-son-brother-father type of setting, and yet the need to be cared for and taken care of. I was blown away by this movie because quite simply... I have never read the book, and I had no idea Peter Pan was this deep. The most moving part was when the girl I was sitting next to cried into her mother's chest proclaiming that she didn't want to grow up. There is the heart of Peter Pan, realizing that inevitably we all grow up, we'll all have bills, we'll all have unsatisfactory jobs (with a few exceptions), we'll all grow old, and most important we'll all die. Peter Pan is a symbol defying this cycle that binds and imprisons all adults. I suddenly find myself wishing I hadn't grown up either. That's not to say that I don't enjoy the benefits of being an adult, but this movie did make me yearn again for my younger days. Without a doubt, this movie is a must see for everyone. Child and adult alike this film will reach you in ways that no other presentation of this story has ever accomplished.

Summary: Promising, but something missing
Review: I followed the development of this film for a year, and was so excited about seeing it, however when the time came and I saw Tinkerbell rendered as an idiotic, comedic mime, I just couldn't enjoy the film as much as I wanted to. A fairy should possess some kind of mystique, and I guess it was just a victim of mis-guided producing. It seemed they were trying to make it a little darker and mature, while at the same time dragging it down with some deplorable obligation to a preschool audience. It had amazing potential, most of which was realised... if only they had let Tinkerbell stay dead.

Summary: Peter Pans Magic
Review: When I first saw this movie in the Cinamas I was blown away! I thought it would be just like the Cartoon with a bit of Hook, but the way they shot the movie it actually felt that Never Land was real. Jeremy Stumpter was amazing as Peter Pan, I dont think anyone else could fill in that role then him. Hes a heartthrob girls, Watch Out.

Peter Pan is a GREAT movie of all ages and something the whole family can enjoy. This is why I gave it 5 stars, you can't rate it untill you see the Magic in this movie.

Summary: High Flying 5 Star Movie for the Whole Family
Review: This is one of the most powerful and most pleasing family film of year 2003. Bringing Peter Pan to life to some gut but it was worth it. Stars (Jeremy Sumpter,Jason Issacs and Rachel-Hurd-Wood) put all there acting into the movie and did a pretty awesome job. The story still is a crowd pleaser and is kept in out hearts. The music, acting and the way this story is told will amaze you and make you fill like flying to neverland yourself. This is a definate wanna see film that you don't want to miss.

Summary: One of the best movies I've ever seen!
Review: Director J.P. Hogan does an amazing job blending the child-like wonder of a treasured fairy-tale classic with the underlining mature issues that play such a large role in the original book. This is, hands down, the best rendition of the story to date, not to mention the best children's movie I've seen since the days of my own childhood. This movie is guarenteed to bring out the child in you.
