Summary: Too bad there aren't more movies like that
Review: Fred Ward and Kevin Bacon are brilliant. The cool statements they give to every situation, no matter how dangerous, are hiliarious. Everything in this movie is just fun. The DVD contains interesting bonus material. It's always nice to see so much bonus material even if it's an older movie like this. "We could get in People Magazine!" "People...Hell, National Geographic!" You would have deserved it, Val and Earl

Review: I think it's very good movie because it's different from other movies.

Summary: I LOVE THIS MOVIE!
Review: I am a horror fan. BIG time. This is not a horror movie. NO way. But it is a great movie. If you don't like "Tremors" then you either take yourself too seriously, or you are a terrible worm-o-phobic. The friendship between Val and Earl is very believable. Reba is adorable. The rest of the cast was great, too.

How much do I like this movie? Well, I bought it once and my one year-old got a hold of it and ruined it. So, I paid another thirty bucks or so and bought ANOTHER copy. Not something I am prone to do, let me say.

If you like to laugh and be a little "creeped out" every now and again, you'll like Tremors.

Summary: Kevin Bacon looks even better covered in dust and blood. . .
Review: Yeeeeeeeeha! It's always nice to see movies about workin' class types with southern accents who are not either criminals on death row or hopelessly backwards bigots. Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward are funny and endearing and Rhonda is a refreshing heroine who does *not* have "big green eyes, long blonde hair, *ss that won't quit, and legs that go allllll the way up." Hooray for ordinary people! This movie scores big because it's funny, but has enough believable gore to make things suspenseful and tense. Remember when you were a kid and played "keep off the ground" on playground equipment? I enjoy this movie more every time I see it.

Summary: The worms turn.
Review: I found this to be one of the most enjoyable horror movies produced in many years.Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward play per parts in this monster/buddy film. The location shots along with the special effects are some of the best done on the limited budget that this film was given that i have ever seen. The acting throughout was done with alot of obvious tongue's in cheek and you can tell that everyone was having alot of fun making this movie. The DVD version is especially great because of the DVD quality and all the extra's given in the collectors edition. It is definately worth the cost, especially if you want to know everything about how this movie was made-very interesting specials in this format. If you are looking for something with a monster that obviously was not designed to really frighten and except for some very brief profanity and one quick shot of the heroin running quickly in her underwear, this is almost perfect family entertainment(except if you are really super sensitive and then you shouldn't really watch any horror/monster films).HIGHLY recomment this movie.

Summary: Vacant
Review: This movie was kinda empty. It was about killer worms that live undergorund terrorizing a small town in no mans land. Not exactly a horror flick but worth adding to the collection.l

Summary: Awesome, greatly enjoyable!
Review: I think I saw this movie, as my sister did, about eight times and always was a true delight. The plot is nothing new, but the acting, the environments, the dialogues, the effects and everything was so compelling that it ceratinly deserves 5 stars. The humor touch is really fun and it is really one of those movies that you will remember, not as a terror one, but as a gathering of good feeling.

Summary: They Come From Under The Gound
Review: So what if this movie has terrible acting in it? It's still a good and enjoyable movie to watch over and over and again. Ron Underwood directed this movie well. Fred Ward and Kevin Bacon will have you doubled-over in laugter as the three giant man-eating subteranninan worms. It's about to the people to find a way what to do to destroy these creatures. This movie is fun and exciting to watch--ignor the poor acting. Enjoy.

Summary: A true get-away-from-it-all movie
Review: I have lost count of how many times I have seen this movie. For sheer entertainment, this one cannot be topped! This movie combines a fine-though-trite story with a fine ensemble cast and blends it all together in what is arguably the best monster movie ever made. I will watch this one again and again, and can't wait to get my DVD copy.

Summary: Don't walk across the football pitch in the dark...
Review: This movie is in my personal top 10 - which just shows how much I enjoyed it. It may not be art, but by gum, it's cracking good fun. The comedy is suitably black and nasty, the tension is very palpable, and the concept - well, the concept may not be absolutely original (what is, these days?) but it is very good. I think very highly of it as an example of how good a horror movie should be, ironic, intelligent, sassy, smart and well-acted. The monsters are JUST this side of credible, which makes it all the more riveting. Last night, I was walking across three deserted football pitches on campus and suddenly remembered this movie - and had to keep reminding myself that it was JUST a movie. That is the sign of a successful "beast" horror movie. It relies upon common sense, a humourous screenplay, actors who do not ham any more than is necessary, and a general atmosphere of cracking good fun. Brilliant stuff.
